Blues defense is better off without Krug and Binnington has always played well if he has a halfway decent defense in front of him. The defense in front of him was trash last year and he still put up some good numbers.

Skinner is going to be huge value. His reputation outside of oiler fans is very poor but he’s entering his third NHL season and Edmonton is looking the best they ever have in front of him. The D may give up a few more shots but he will also pile up W’s no matter what.

Demko’s a sucker pick this year. High ADP, injury history, plus the fact he hasn’t even skated yet and VAN is mum on his status and likely isn’t going to be ready for the start of the season. For zero G Silovs is the smarter pick.

Chychrun is insanely overrated he was horrible in Ottawa defensively
@@AxskullTV everyone as bad in Ottawa BUT, what are your thoughts on his impact to Carlson? Carlson lead all D in ATOI last season and was a gem in some leagues
@fantasypuck Could be exciting offensively but would probably be a black hole defensively.
I’m feeling Connor Ingram can crack top 20 this coming season and can be picked fairly late, R11+
I believe Lukkonen might be a steal, he was a steal for my fantasy team last season. I picked up him from FA, and he performed really good the 2nd part of the season. I also expected from Sestorkin more, he failed me in many matchups.

During the live stream tonight you asked if there is a way to make the “draft results” board bigger and there is. Where it says draft scout suggestions, if you go the top right of that section there is a minus button and that will remove that whole section from the main page which gives more room for all the more important stuff.
I think Helle is always the best pick. Dude just performs regardless of the team. However, the better the team, the better he becomes in an insane way
8th round and below. When you look at any draft board, It starts with the first pick and then goes down as the numbers go up.
Great video. Dont sleep on Sam Ersson of the Flyers. Had 4 shutouts last year on a Flyers team that had a sketchy defense. The team should be improved this year and Ersson plays solid goal. A bargain in the 300s. 🏒

Calling Krug a good defender is definitely a Choice.
Fair! I guess my point was that surely his replacement is a worse overall defenseman than he is. Krug's defense is derived from his strong offensive abilities.
@@fantasypuck the problem with Krug is his offense isn’t really there anymore in the fact that he doesn’t really drive the play anymore. His replacement will be Broberg, so we’ll see if he’s better or worse than Krug.
The guys I trust least on this list are Gustavsson, Jarry. I would replace them with Lindgren, Thompson Andersen, Kochetkov, even Ingram and Grubauer.

It was the uncertainty with who will be the started kind of deterred me away. My thoughts have changed since that recording and I will likely upload a more updated video.

@@mrjoshharvey7017 sure! We typically like to do yahoo default points - the problem with hockey is literally every leagues scoring is different. Brady tkachuk for example can be a top 5 pick in some leagues or a top 20 in others.

Zero goalie all the way, at least in a head to head cats league. Won me my league last year by a wide margin.

Did that 2 years ago and tore up the league until playoffs when i had sone key injuries. Last year drafted goalies in i think rounds 4 and 7 and was a big mistake. Going back to late rounds and FA pickups this year

They are definitely top 20, but they will split starts so for fantasy they don’t provide the best value
