Go and watch Jethro Bovingdons original review. Ask yourself some basic questions e.g. how a car with that weight, and distribution can be good through corners without active toe.

its not what it should be so id rather daydream about it and drive for effiency for fun in a relatively normal car. ... no limited slip differential,. no inline 3 + maybe customizable fake sound for inside car instead of inline 5 (because they say its closer to v10 than inline 6 is to v12, so most sound per weight if you ignore the excess of v12). im not promoting electric drive because that stuff isnt good for anything besides maybe customer saving his money if you charge at home slow in front wheel drive proper setup. ( i can explain it bit more, but no one trusts the narratives). lightweight low emissions combustion is best for everyone . most the fun is in escaping danger and a layer of fun can be had in driving for emissions to a extent... its simply speeding on downshillish roads and before uphillish roads at optimal rpm and fuel level according to bfsc chart for the engine, minimal and steady braking and steering, downshift engine braking and neutral to coast, using electric power at low speed especially from stop to 5 to 10 mile per hour if you have it.

I've been a Lotus guy ever since I saw one in a Los Angeles Lotus showroom in 1995. Since then, I owned a Lotus Elise 111R, and the Esprit S4S was always #1 on my bucket list, until a few weeks ago when I saw an Emira in a parking garage in Utah. It is now #1 on my bucket list. Great video - thank you Todd! The Lotus chassis engineers are the best I have ever worked with and they have done a great job with our hardware from the Elise S2 onwards - and the Emira is a superb example of that engineering and tuning skill. Really very good-looking car too. Enjoy it!

It's a hyper smiles per mile car. I've enjoyed mine for over a year now. No major issues, just a thoroughly enjoyable car to drive, and of course look at. And the favourable attention it gets has exceeded those achieved by my former TVR's, Noble and Aston. She's a beauty.

Well deserved Todd! Thank you to Paul for being such a good friend and business partner to make it happen! I really don't like the red interior with the red exterior, it's wayyy too much. But I agree it's more important to get it now, than to wait a year, especially for the channel. Personally when I first heard of it years ago, I spec'd it as Seneca Blue, Silver Wheels, Yellow Calipers, Black Alcantara, Yellow stitch. 6spd manual, V6. No paid options. =)
I own a Lotus Emira but purchased the i4 in Shanghai China. The version we get here is has 400hp and 480nm of torque s it faster than the V6 we get here and more convenient than the manual in a large city. I have owned many sports cars but none make me as happy as the little Emira. It is drop dead gorgeous, reliable, a great driving car and looks different to anything else on the road. I feel great driving this car (it is not just another Porsche) and cannot see myself ever selling it. Congratulations. A wonderful car that you will like more the further you drive it.
Todds genuine joy here is priceless, im happy for him. Congrats sir. I go to work every day and bust my ass to have these moments one day. Watching people who also work hard to achieve this is really motivating for me.

Your final comment about this being your personal hypercar resonnates with my experience when I bought my first Evora NA. I had to pinch myself. Then I traded it for an Evora 400, and said I will never let go of that car as long as I live … unless an Emira drops in my lap. Drive the wheels off it!

Awesome news; big congratulations to you, Todd! Know how much you love Lotus, and how much you were intrigued by the Emira from the very beginning, it's great to see you able to get one for yourself. Great video - thank you Todd! The Lotus chassis engineers are the best I have ever worked with and they have done a great job with our hardware from the Elise S2 onwards - and the Emira is a superb example of that engineering and tuning skill. Really very good-looking car too. Enjoy it!

It's a hyper smiles per mile car. I've enjoyed mine for over a year now. No major issues, just a thoroughly enjoyable car to drive, and of course look at. And the favourable attention it gets has exceeded those achieved by my former TVR's, Noble and Aston. She's a beauty.

Personally when I first heard of it years ago, I spec'd it as Seneca Blue, Silver Wheels, Yellow Calipers, Black Alcantara, Yellow stitch. 6spd manual, V6. No paid options. =)

I own a Lotus Emira but purchased the i4 in Shanghai China. The version we get here is has 400hp and 480nm of torque s it faster than the V6 we get here and more convenient than the manual in a large city. I have owned many sports cars but none make me as happy as the little Emira. It is drop dead gorgeous, reliable, a great driving car and looks different to anything else on the road. I feel great driving this car (it is not just another Porsche) and cannot see myself ever selling it. Congratulations. A wonderful car that you will like more the further you drive it.
I am a Lotus guy myself. I love that they subscribe to the less is more, lightweight, and handling over brute hp ethos. I love the Elise, and Esprit
