For what Fords are, they are to expensive. I got the Rav4 (thank you again for the advice on that one) and I looked at some American cars. Just plastic and cardboard for 80 grand now for most of what "American made" cars. I am not anti-American but I will not buy anything American, not after 2008 and what the unions done to the taxpayers.
I was a Ford tech when they felt like paying the technician to fix the car. I agree with Scotty on this. I've heard a ton of complaints about the 3v 5.4 and most of them were jerks who didn't do the oil changes. I've seen the people who did do the oil changes on them and they run like a clock for many many years.
Bought a 2005 escalade 5.3l v8 for 9k and i love it. Everything works. I modernized it by slapping a new android auto unit with a 10 inch screen and it immediately made it a nicer car than my 22 sentra Sr. Now I want an escalade ext since they're so dependable
I think you’re mistaken with the excursion…f250 has a full floating rear axle for towing and expeditions have an independent rear suspension which is actually different from the f150 as well. The frame is shaped differently from the f150’s as well. From a former ford tech from 2016 to earlier this year.
I was traveling and my van broke down. Through a friend I got a repo Expedition in July 2023. It is FANTASTIC in and out. I do the maintenance and put on over 25k miles! XLT 4X4. The maintenance logs were in the glove. I paid $3200.
I have a 2009 ford escape with 202k miles, she is still running strong, just normal maintenance and a few parts replaced due to age, but i feel that this escape is just getting started. Not all fords are bad 😉
I’m never buying a Ford again. I bought two new ones the last 20 years and I’ve had nothing but problems with them. I’m sticking with Toyota and Honda.
I just bought a 2014 Expedition Limited 4X4 with only 86,000 miles for $12,300. Book is close to 18K. The bank financed a 10 year old Ford 100% with no money down. My son is a mechanic and nothing is ever quite good enough for him. He inspected it and said it was a great deal. I love a good sign and drive deal.

What is up with this turbo crap? My uncle bought what he thought was a deal on a ford with that twin turbo v6. In about 4 months he had deal with the dealership. Just bring back the v8!
I like Scotty. I think he’s too cheap though. It’ll be the end of the world to replace tire sensors? I’m a truck driver and I see a lot of cars with beer belly on one of the rear tires. If I catch up with the driver I warn him/her. I bet it’ll cheaper to replace the sensor when buying new tires than changing the tire or having a blowout. Something tells me that the spare tire in the trunk is not up to 60 psi in that case and is as old as the car: it’ll last 2 miles! Do yourself a favor and replace the senders. They last a long time. Unless you’re aiming to get stranded on the highway and pay through the nose for a tow truck.

Dear Scotty,

Stay away from Ford, GM, German and Korean. Don't do it.
Thank you good advice, but how about the new Dodge Ram 1500 pick up trucks.??
If it' the 5.4 Triton, watch out ⌛
People complain about Ford but I must say mine is holding up I've put some money in to it but she still runs ..at 237,000 miles and is a 2004. Ford expedition
I want one. I’m taking notes. My Explorer wore out.
Scotty is Scotty, never failed to sketch out any flawless from the car industry 👏 👌 🙌
The only thing wearing out is Scotty receding hairline.. Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
You couldn't give me a passenger vehicle with a turbo, I feel the same about EV ANYTHINGS. I would say no thank you now get off my property.
Older is better . Nice big vehicle 👌
Which it shouldn't take
2010 Towncar 120,000 miles. Runs great.
RIP Scotty... See you tomorrow...
Hey Scotty! Question❓ wondering why you test drive most vehicles but in some videos your riding shotgun with the owners of the vehicle driving...
I'm telling ya nobody talks about Small Wheel Base vehicles hurting your back
Again, my condolences for your death. 11th now, right?

Triton ENGINES were garbage especially the v10s
Poor Scotty forgot about how awful the 3V tritons are.
I have a 5.4 3v 198,000 , just had the timing job...Good for another 100,000😊
Way to explain it all Merry Christmas Scotty 😊
Scotty is like 2 cats..............18 Lives.........😂
CarWizard has a cautionary tale concerning one of these Triton engines. He's worked on hundreds of them. Not sure if it's this specific engine though.
Hating on Ford? See: 5:46
Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals! 🍻
What is up with this turbo crap? My uncle bought what he thought was a deal on a ford with that twin turbo v6. In about 4 months he had deal with the dealership. Just bring back the v8!
All the narcan in the universe can't counteract all the fentanyl he just boofed. RIP, Scotty.
Which is better used a 2005 Toyota corolla 1ZZ-FE or a used 2010 Suzuki sx4 M16A??
A 94 Celica. Lol
