You mentioned the future development at the airfield and the plans for the 950 room hotel. How do people learn about plans such as these the way you know it? The amount of value and education you are putting out on your channel is phenomenal. Kuddos and praise to you in all that you have done and for all that you continue to do.
Haven’t been to ewa beach hood since the early 80s, I remember one night me and my cousins picked some nui fruits and threw it at the city bus going by.
Thank you for this video. We visted The Lineup this July and it was cooool! Very good vibes even on a Thursday night! Are the builing new homes to the right of it??
So cool! Glad you had a great time. Hoakalei is the neighborhood where the Lineup is. New homes are being developed at Kalaeloa not too far from there and Ho’opili has more homes coming.
Ewa Beach is in the flight path to the airport and being so close to Pearl Harbor/Hickam, you’ll see and hear military jets. If you’re sensitive to airplane noise and really want peace and quiet, but still like the types of homes Ewa Beach offers, you’d want to look to Mililani instead, but prices are 15-20% more. Mililani video coming soon!
@@mailagibson6787 I'm from Vancouver (Canada) and we have similar problems here. Though, our indigenous people have their own reservations. I also know that higher real estate prices make EVERYBODY poorer. When homes are treated more like financial assets than places for people to live it's those who work "9 to 5" jobs that get screwed because more of their labor has to go to pay for housing.
@Hans Hertlein I think if the "W" is at the front of the word, then it's pronounced likewise; however, if the letter is in the middle of the word it's pronounced as "V"
Campbell Grad 85' missed those days we only 2 light back then one goes to Habush/Papipi Rd. the other one is the road to Barbers Pt.
I totally remember those days. I was a kid, but my sister had a boyfriend from Ewa Beach. It felt like the boonies.
Hearing your voice and watch your video ...fills like i am already in Hawaii...❤
This might be your best one yet. Awesome video. Maila, Koa, see you at the Wave Pool.
Let’s gooo! I’ll be eating and drinking while you surf.

Haha! What a fun memory.
@@mailagibson6787 not really but it’s what I remembered
When I left in '76, the town was surrounded by cane fields. What the heck happened to the black snow and the DDT trucks?

How bad is the airline noise in Ewa Beach?

@@mailagibson6787 how about airline noise inland, like Kapolei or Makakilo? 😉
You’ll definitely get airline noise there too along with Ko Olina. I used to live in Makakilo. Wasn’t so loud there or maybe I just got used to it.
@@mailagibson6787 haha..so true...btw I loved your video... great information! Mahalo 🤙
Thank you!!
If you watched this video and are thinking about moving here DONT 😁❤️
What if they’re moving from Waipahu, Mililani, or moving home after being away from Hawaii?
You live in the nightmare, the destruction of nature and love.
Damn I’m from OLD EWA surrounded by sugar canes damn I miss those days I would Neva go back now!!
Braddah Triggz (Richie)!
Wo how's the singing Iam lookout.Aloha Kele
😂 oh gosh…that’s quite the compliment. Thank you.
I lived there.
Does homes there have central air conditioning
Most of them do, yes.
What kind of wood homes are made of
Many older homes are tongue & groove redwood.
They should just replace the 'W' with a 'V' and call it a day. 😄
I should also change my name to Malia.
@@mailagibson6787 I saw you in this video the other day. Just by coincidence: th-cam.com/video/NO83K8s8dnk/w-d-xo.html
Curious to hear your thoughts. 😬
