The moon gundam was a gundam that I've heard a whole bunch of great stories about people saying that it was one of the best high grades on the market and I'm glad that it still holds true even to this day even with the fact that we got witch for Mercury kits raising the bar. I'm definitely still gonna try to get this particular gundam at some point down the road because it just has a very striking and cool design and aesthetic and like a friend said it has Sazabi DNA in it lol. Great review of this legendary kit!
G-Witch is doing what the Moon did for cheap, but that doesn't take away that the Moon is one of the best HGs out there despite being a bit rough around the edges. And the reason it has some Sazabi DNA in the design is because the Varguil is the Sazabi prototype
The true undisputed king of HG before G-Witch kits came to barge the market with its cheap pricing. Despite the years having passed, my copy remains strong, and still one of my most favorite HG kits of all time. For a premium price, this thing translates it to boot, and will always be my no. 1 HG.
New hg was good but king of hg all the time is still moon gundam. Can't change my mind 😎 Note : my dream was to build moon gundam with full moon psychoplate 😎
@@mj2005gundam The body itself need no remodeling much. The problem is psycho plate. I need twice amount of normal moon Gundam And it mean need two moon Gundam for it = twice amount money for it. If I'm lucky I can get the plate part only but who knows. Anyways thanks for the support. Hope one day it became true that dream of mine 👀
That was a troll by ZakuAurelius for an April Fool's prank, unless you really have hopes that Bandai would pay Moon enough attention to give it an MG in the future
You should be warned that since I'm no longer in Hong Kong, I will not be able to have early access to that kit. I will review it, but it will be a matter of time
hey MJ, what do u think are the odds of us getting another moon gundam p bandai with full moon psychoplates cuz well the direction the manga is going i think we can expect an upgrade. also pls do another 30mm review there are so many options set now and even great kits
The Psycho Gundam Mk IV is unlikely to get a release as barely anyone knows about it, and I don't think it has even appeared in the manga all that much that everyone knows about it
@@mj2005gundam The unmodified Varguil didn't exactly get a ton of panel time in the manga either but it got a PBandai. Then again , it was a ton compared to the Psycho Mark IV which only got like six pages in the first chapter before Amuro destroyed it.
“It’s just from a random side story that 5 people read, you don’t need to put too much effort in”
The kit designer: *Hold my beer*
Ippei Gyoubu always goes hard, and then the top dogs at Bandai for some reason decided that this was the kit they're gonna push boundaries with
This was my first Gunpla kit I ever built. Talk about quite an introduction
A hell of an intro to the hobby for sure

@@mj2005gundam Yep definitely because after doing some research I can definitely see the resemblance. It is super strong.
One of the best HG. I would say this is like a HG 2.0 very close to RG levels of details. The legs construction is just so good.
It definitely pushed what is possible in an HG. I wonder if it's the precursor to conventional kits and what they achieved

Even if it isn't THE number 1 HG, it's still one of the best in the market today
This feels more like a HG/RG hybrid. I haven't got my hands into one sadly. And I really want now. It just looks so damn good.
Absolutely do get one, it's a great experience
How about bootleg 🔥😅
Almost time for Moon Festival and this review is perfectly timed
I did that last time when I reviewed the Moon, I'm doing it this time. Glad you caught that
Glad this kit was reprinted a few months ago, immediately bought the last one on my local retail
Eyy nice! This is one of the UC kits that gets infrequently reprinted, so availability shouldn't be as big an issue as some others
Fantastic kit. Look forward to eventually painting it.
You and me both! I wanted to paint mine in the Varguil (Gundam Head Type) colors. Too bad I didn't get around to that before the move
I got the gundam base limited one, the one with the long rifle equipped and imo it is much better in terms of color than the og moon
That ultimately depends on whether you like the designer or animation colors better

Good luck remodelling the body

@@TheAshlight41 ahh, so it's not a Psycho Mk-IV remodel, but just a Full Moon Gundam, I see
Ah yes... The most underrated Gundam (besides X mobile suits)
The moon will always be there.
Too bad it's exclusive to a manga and U.C. Engage
Love this kit. I'd love to build it again.
It is quite the experience to build it again
For what seems to be just a one-off gundam for it's series, this kit set the bar high for HGs
Yep, this kit blew the HG standard out the water for its time
Yup, definitely gonna get this boi
Go ahead. I highly recommend it
One of, if not, the best hg kit
It's up there. It's just a bit unwieldy
Still amazed we havent gotten a pbandai full moon version
Because the Psycho Gundam Mk IV needs a whole new body to be molded
Such a perfect kit, though it's kind of underated sadly. Nice vid as usual :D
HG Moon Gundam kit is far from underrated
Thank you! And I don't think the Moon is underrated, moreso people don't talk about it after it had its time in the spotlight
This was the HG that I wanted the most. After I got it, all the expectations were met
I'm glad it's worth the investment
hope the MG Moon gundam will come out soon

Is it worth it to get another one? My moon gundam broke and is pretty loose now
Not really that worth it for replacement parts. I'd recommend a layer of matte top coat on the loose joints and seeing what's what first.
Nice😮
Thanks
