I severely highly doubt that, a whole 12 people have played that game and despite the fact that we all agree it's the best in the series, we can't seem to convince anyone else to play it.
I blame the fact that the PS1 version we got is awful, and we missed on the second PSP port, forcing you to play both game on two different system, one poorly translated and missing content.

They didn't think of that back then. I mean, this is the first iteration of Persona to have modern social link feature. Make sense that it wasn't as polished as the newer one.
P3P was my first introduction to the Persona series, and it has a very special place in my heart. Super thrilled that you're playing it! Orpheus is still my favourite persona, even if they're not the most useful.

The original Persona 3 game released in North America exclusively as a "Collector's Edition" which included the soundtrack and an art book, but the stand-alone game was never sold by itself. FES is the first time the game was released as a standalone disc in America.
I actually got the collectors Edition way back in the day. At the time I had no idea what Persona was but I picked it up on boxing day and from then on I was obsessed.

I always loved the fact you had to go places manually in P3. The quick travel buttons are easy, and I use them myself.. but there's something more charming about just walking somewhere in these games that I feel they lost by P5 :(

Also dont know how daily I will watch this but I do have some good tips when they pop up as I played this as my first Persona game back in October before Persona 5's release. However I played the PSP version which has more updated/better things and more bonus content than FES, it just doesn't have 'The Answer' in it. I just started watching your p5 and ff12 vids and I was just thinking if you would play p3. As someone who played p3p instead of persona 3 I like seeing models moving instead of the visual novel form. Yukari might sound familiar because Michelle ruff did Becky too
You should play digital devil saga 1 and 2 no spoilers but it's the best ps2 game in my personal opinion if you like jrpgs and it has the same demons in persona because it's based off the mainline smt. I think if you played it blind you ad your viewers would enjoy it alot!
Persona 3 has 1 gameplay flaw it was put in the game to stop players from overleveling in the game your characters get tired or sick sometimes basically after battle your character can get tired meaning they take more damage but if sick they take more damage they get all their persona stats lowered and get critted by enemies thankfully you rarely get sick but there is one good thing the great condition you do better combat good condition nothing happens

Fixed the description! As for the box, thats just its aspect ratio when I play it. I probably could stretch it out in editing but it would make it look pretty bad imo. The games I tried on PS2 also had the same aspect ratio. I'm already blowing it up to 1080p, its default PS3 playback is 720p. So doing anything else might start making look super bad. Not sure how the cutscenes look on PS2, but I do find it weird that they get a green boarder.
"What's the age range of this school?" There's 2 possible answers: 10-12 (you're in 11th grade, your class is 2-F, therefore the 1sy years would be grade 10) 8-12 (Junpei transfered there when he was in the 8th grade) I'd go with the 2nd option cause it would make it like the schools I've been to (elementary school 1-4, middle school 5-7, high school 8-12)

One of my favourite games. Although, personally I prefer the undub version since the English VA for most characters is horrific . Only Jumpei , Akihiko and Yukari are at okay level, while others are just terrible. But regardless of that, I think you're going to have great time with this one. BTW, the story and pacing are much better here than in P4 imo. I feel like I'll go back to P3 Portable after watching this LP

The P3MC has 2 official names, in the manga he’s called Minato Arisato. In the movies, he’s called Makoto Yuki
Every main character has a manga and anime name for P3-5. Atlus just likes to use the anime name for the spin-off games.
I'm pretty sure the canon names for the Persona protags are their Anime names so his canon name is Makotot Yuki
