200.000 Subscribers - congratulations. 🥳Loriot 🖤
It actually goes further: "Dr. Summer, I don't think the dog can speak at all!" "What? That's an outrageous claim!"
It is much longer.
Yes 😂
The dog is asked to say: "Mr. Pohl feels comfortable at the pole without atomic energy." as well. So the clip is really a much shortened thing.
I grew up with Loriot on TV. He had a whole TV show back then. Later Loriot made 2 full movies. Greetings from Switzerland.
Loriot:" you can live without a Pug...
But it's make no Sense" 😅👍🏻 i Love this 🥰
That was only half of the the original sketch.
Loriot had his own TV show for a few years and two movies. He was brilliant, but only started creating in his later years publicly.
The TV show were sketches with him and a few others.
Answer from Germany:
Yes, Loriot died some years ago...
After that, his family's lawyers wanted, that the most of the videos on YT would be deleted for copyright reasons...
There is indeed much more from him ... wonderfull stuff, really :-D
Most uploads with Loriot stuff have been deleted, his heirs are quite strict with the copyright claims, it's surprising there is even this much left.
Maybe on Odysee
Loriot did also a lot of live action sketches. You can watch the one with the noodle (die Nudel) or the one with the painting (das Bild hängt schief)
Hat er schon. 😉
Das Beste fehlt leider. … Bello, … „soch mol, … Herr Otto Mool fühlt sich wohl am Pol ohne Atomstrom“ … Ho Ho HoHo ……….. 🤪😂 …
This is not the full video.
In the beginning the two guys cannot agree what the dog should say because they can never think of the right term.
Example:
Teacher: "It goes by the name of this Italian football player which sounds like a car brand."
Reporter: "BMW?"
hmmm we need to find the full video!
@@ReactionsbyD
Probably not possible, the copyright vultures are nasty with this one.
@@ReactionsbyD You nailed it. Yet we might need the help of this guy (I can't remember his name) ... something starting with G or A. My neighbor had a dog of a similar name. I think it was "Du dämliche Töle!".
The complete version is much longer.
This is now the Rammstein-Wo bist du reaction
PS. This song is great
He also drew cartoon books.
Hi D. Thank you so much for all of your Loriot Videos. Your reaction and laughter made me so happy. Loriot is a legend here in Germany for the older generation and there will be no one like him ever again. Again, thank you so much. All the best for you. André, Hamburg/Germany.
According to German copyright laws creator's copyright is valid for 70 years after the creator's death and can therefore be claimed by the heirs - which is the case here. His daughters have started their own project for a "best of" movie (available e.g at vimeo in the "on demand" section) and revoked most of the cartoons from other platforms. Also most of the available ones are not subbed.
(By the way: The same copyright law also prevented the re-publishing of Hitler's book for 70 years, cause the state of Bavaria claimed his inheritance. Random House however could print the English translation anyway, because the rights for this translation had been sold back in the 1930s by the Nazi publishing house to them.)
Loriot was a perfectionist. He had no interest in putting out as much as possible, but what he did put out was right on point and of high quality. Everyone who worked with him said that the tiniest details mattered for him and it sometimes took hours and hours to finish one little sequence. Still, there is a lot of stuff of him out there, since he did not only do cartoons.
Loriot - You have to see absolutely - LORIOT - Das Bild hängt schief (The picture is crooked)
The original is much longer, but I can't find it on youtube right now.
I was told massive copyrights is why the full one does not exist on YT
Me German.
See what I found for you:

That´s all of them Trickfilm/Comics he made I guess. They were released on a DVD available on AMAZON. I don´t know if all of them were already to be seen on youtube. Think you need to search for them. Or get the DVD somehow.
The original Video is longer
The original is longer than this short part. 👍
These is not complete😢
There is a longer version
loriot did a lot of sketches with real persons, or in person. and a lot of his cartoons were printed as books.
comic films/cartoons were not that popular at the time - especially not with an adult conservative audience -, or they were incorporated into larger shows..
seldom stand alone.
I remember my own mum would refuse to watch any cartoon no matter how adult-targetting the content was - "cartoons are for kids" she would say
and then walk away.
Please react to the german marching band Meute. Just do it you won't regret it.
Congrats for the 200k
Maybe the dog speaks English, you just have to listen carefully.
wo wo wo wo wo wo wo .... should I translate?
this sketch is normaly 4:42 long and builds up to a hilarious climax.
When he died, a German newspaper wrote on a whole page only four words: Dear God, have fun. ❤😢 Greetings from Germany
It is actually longer. But the short version works, too.
Yeah it does, but I am missing: 7 Polen gehen Kohlen holen! 😢
@@aja.189 Herr Otto Mohl fühlt sich unwohl am Pol ohne Atomstrom ^^
"that's too political, the dog does not know what he is talking about!" - "like a politician!"
Greets from Germany. Please watch "Loriot: Das Bild hängt schief (the picture is hanging crooked). It shows Loriot himself and its really hilarious.
Hat er schon. Schau in die Kanal-Videos. 😉😉
Wonder if this is Dr. Sommer from BRAVO? 😂
"Herr Otto Pohl fühlt sich wohl bei der Oberpostdirektion"
"O O-o O - o o o - o o O-o-o-o-o-o"
Was hat er denn jetzt gesagt?.....^^
I love how you have fun with Loriot. Greetings from Germany. 😊
Klasse ist auch Evelyn Hamann als TV Ansagerin für eine englische TV Serien, mit einer Menge Wörtern mit th ......zum brüllen komisch
Greetings from Germany. :)
Congratulations to 200K. I still remember the first video I watched. It was Rammstein’s Du Hast.
ahhh thanks! just realized myself lol
Congratulation to 200.000 subscribers 👍👏👏👏👏
me too
Vikko von Bülow aka Loriot...He survived Stalingrad...great guy...rip
I love the Hamburg dialect of Dr. Sommer :)
There is a DVD set of all of Loriot's made for TV stuff called "Die vollständige Fernseh-Edition". There are 83 cartoons on it, but uploading them all to TH-cam would probably get you in trouble because of German copyright laws.
Hell Yeah, you love German humor! But I think we Germans have no humor! Our humor is deep and dark.
Die Art von Humor ist von der Nation beeinflusst, nicht ob Leute überhaupt Humor haben.
Die Dummen haben selten Humor, die Schlauen meistens - international.
You are right. Or like the dog would say: oou o ooooouuuu. 🙂
We Germans have different kinds of humor, I would would say. 🤗
Hi D
We have a golden Retriever who says something that Songs like mama😂😂😂😂
That`s right!!! Dogs and cats sometimes try to speak (or repeat) a human word the best they can with their snouts! 😂
@@mickypescatore9656 👍
Best wishes 🌹
@@nicoleeilersstruever4920 🤗🌹
Did you know that Loriot had a short appearence in the movie The Longest Day as a young guy? He even had one sentence to speak. 😁
guy on the phone i recall
We haven't yet been able to get through, Sir!
(Wir sind bisher nicht durchgekommen, Herr General!)
... referring to a phone call, I think...
They filmed the scene twice, in English and then German. He later wrote that he got his English version right at the first try, but needed six attempts for the German one.
Look to the Cartoons without english subtitle , and let google translate....
It's not a cartoon, but look at "Die Nudel" from LORIOT.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 200000
There gives many more short Cartoon-Films, but I think only a few of them are subtitled. I grew up with this german art of humour, because my father loves every type of humour, so we looked together Cartoons on TV. The first Cartoons from "Vicco von Bülow" aka Loriot (Bernhard-Viktor von Bülow) appeared in 1970 on german TV. It´s german TV-Culture. Loriot was a guarantee to laugh.
A large part of Loriot's work is drawings ... and he also did a bunch of live sketches AND MOVIES.
Loriot didn't just make cartoons. He acted in a lot of real scetches. Search for those.
Loriot " Auf der Rennbahn " Perfekt 😅😅 🖖🇩🇪🖖
you gotta watch loriots real sketches with actors... so good.
There are not so much of his cartoons - which he drawed himself by hand, btw.! :)
I know of these ones only, I try to translate the best I can: "Herren im Bad" (gentleman in the bath), "Der sprechende Hund" (the talking dog, ... so this one you reacted to), "Feierabend" (end of work), "Die Volksdroge" (the folks drug ... it's the one with the broken TV), "Comedian Harmonists", "Das Ei" (the egg), "Pferde-Rennbahn" (horse racing track), "Pneumatische Plastologie" (< I have no idea how to translate that!"). Beside of the cartoons, he made real movies, plays, scenes and sketches. But i am pretty sure you already know. *cheers
Pneumatische Plastologie = Pneumatic plastology - Google Translator hilft gern mal aus. 😉
All the Germans do love Loriot ❤❤
This is not complete. It is a bit longer and ends with the conclusion that the tv man says the dog is not able to speak und the expert feels offended and the dog makes Pfp again.
yes, original is much longer
Some Loriots sketches: German Comedy (ENG SUB): Loriot - The painting / Loriots Ödipussi: Group therapy (english subtitles)
and another artist back in the days: German Comedy (ENG SUB): Heinz Erhardt - Wedding Speech
You have many of these, i think like 30. But there is heavy copyright, so you can buy them in a DVD. Maybe if you talk to the owner, he can allow you to show parts of it on youtube?
Well that one should went a little longer. What you saw was only the first "introduction" to the dogs "ability to speak". Think the complete cartoon was about 2-4 min long.
There maybe only so few videos online because of missing english subs and also because cartoons was only one thing of the comedy he made. There are also a lot of real sketches with the incredible (and also dead rip) Evelyn Hamann. Think you would like these sketches too but don´t know if any of them is out there with accurate english subtitles.
Also some of the sketches might not work when translated because he plays sometimes (not too often) with the german language as a joking tool too.
But what should work is "the noodle" ("Die Nudel"). Very simple but also very funny.
I love your Loriot reactions ...here is another brilliant one.. The title is : Das Bild hängt schief"....although it`s decades old it`s timeless....enjoy watching it .../th-cam.com/video/Dhj1xhv3rZI/w-d-xo.html
If you are really impressed by LORIOT (Vicco von Bülow) it will be senseful to take a look about an interview with him. Our greatest humorist - "Loriot im Interview (1993) | SPIEGEL TV". Very impressive, but only in German. All the Best from Germany.
This is only a tiny fraction of the original scetch. It is only a fragment from the longer original video.
This is vikko von Bülow the german Biedermann and we all grown up with that and Ekel alfred
Classic❤😂
yep, there was not much of good humoristic or even comedy in after war Germany... Loriot was one big exception to the rule... besides him in the 70's Otto Waalkes emerged. He is still around and a household name. He was quiete the opposite to Loriot and it was very special nonsene comedy... elderly people did like him cause it had no intellectual value... no linguistic quality.. pure SNL like comedy nonsense. But we youngsters loved him. Otto, much like Loriot, has many sketches, sayings and memes that belong to general german knowledge... those two were dominant for a long time. On TV there was not much happening until there were two series in the 70's which were in a sense groundbreaking. "Ein Herz und eine Seele" a sort of sitcom and Klimbim, again pure nonsense with a bit even frivolic seventies humor. Today there is a lot of stand up comedy around in Germany, but not back then. This is pretty new thing... only by the mid eighties a new generation emerged, especially Hape Kerkeling whose comedy is considered partially much in the vain of Loriot. But Hape did things on a different level, interacting with people, politicians, crashing tv emissions, etc. most famous his appearance as fake queen Beatrix of the Netherlands (Trixi). worth watching. He crashed federal press conferences and even managed to serve Angela Merkel an icecream while she was on the podium helding a speech... PS. I forgot Heinz Erhardt, who very prominent in the 50's and 60's doing much films and comedy in shows... but his humor is mostly linguistic based so not to be translated and probably only fully to grasp as a native german speaker. but he was a household name too and many of his rhymes and sayings are still well known.
The Americans have the greatest comedian in the world, D.Trump😝
And he will win too lol - because the other guy has forgotten where the states are to campaign in :P
@@ReactionsbyD You really need a lot of humor to vote for Trump.😅
I'm german and I love Trump. I would choose him, and I love your channel
That's not the whole sketch. Full length is around 5 (!) minutes.
the inheritors are (tbh) really gready, they signed up with a media house. they still sell DVDs (key market is for the elderly).
And this company files DMCA claims at YT faster than you can upload. just a few videos remain as "teasers".
it is actually longer ........Loriot was the best
He had a TV-show, movies and started in advertising.
there are some great ones played by himself, too. Not sure if they have subtitles though.
Otto Mohl fühlt sich wohl am Pol ohne Atomstrom. Otto Mohl feels well at the Northpole without nuclear power. And the dog "o-oo---o-o-oo-o ...
Just so you get to know the man: this is Loriot in one of his sketches:
th-cam.com/video/Dhj1xhv3rZI/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
Hi D , you must see the whole comic-strip.
Look for "Das Bild hängt schief"!😅
I think the full version is actually quite a bit longer
its only the half clip
this was only half the scetch.... it will stay short but the finish is perfect...
There are more!
one minute, sketch its Loriot🤣😂🤣
😂😂😂
It's a lot stuff from Loriot.
I bought the DVD Sets and haven't finished yet.
And then there are special programs for his round birthdays. They used to be able to buy it on VHS.
Loriot was a master in (self)irony. An autobiographic book shows two pictures of him, one in an 18th century outfit, the other one in his WWII uniform. The caption to the first picture is about him at a filmset in the Babelsberg Studios in Berlin where he acted as a supernumery in his youngest years. About the second pic he wrote: "Here you see me in another role. The play was not very successful. I need not mention the name of the director." Another fun-fact: In "The Longest Day" he is an officer in the German telecommunications room, where the first reports of the Allied Landing are rattling in. He hardly says anything except for "wehaventyetbeenabletogetthroughsir."
Genial 🤣🤣🤣🤣
that was not all ?!?! it is view minutes longer.... 🙂
yes but no one can find that version
Never saw these cartoons. Very funny. Watching you crack up laughing added to the fun. It seems there may be copyright issues but hope you are able to find and react to more.
🤣🤣🤣
There are many cartoons by Loriot, but definitely more sketches with actors.
The reason why few cartoons by Loriot can be found in TH-cam may be that their heirs are quite restrictive.
There are a few about our old chancellor. Helmut Schmidt. But it is just like a parody on him and how he talks.
And this one... th-cam.com/video/7WhL5Kw2MKE/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
And this for christmas th-cam.com/video/k3uuLRmIvp8/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
Another is called: pneumatische Plastologie
A pity, really, that there are not more. We've got to graduate to the live sketches, it seems.
There are over 50 of these sketches and they are all great.
Loriot was the beeest!!!!!!!
Iremember it being longer.
Welp there is much more but its mostly played by real people (for example Loriot himself) One of those sketches is „Weihnachten bei Hoppenstetts“ (Christmas with the Hoppenstetts) Its a freaking TRADITION for us germans to watch it at Christmas time.
onece more of Loriot? posted by Qualityclub 2010 ---- Fachberatung.mp4 ----- I don`t know if it got subtitle.
