I don't know what was giving me more anxiety, if the struggle with traction or how bad those windshield wipers were working. There were moments that I thought "man, that kid's driving blind!". Brilliant performance, tho.
Just played Kenya in EA WRC 23…wow!! Very hard!…this footage is amazing and I give it to all of the drivers. Amazing skill! Kalle and Co killed it here!

For anyone wondering why he seemed slow in some areas it's because it's very very very slippery. Worse than snow. Even my jeep with mud tires was having a hard time when I attended last year's rally.
Indeed rain will wet that grass and make the mud like ice sliding always is quite tricky to struggle for any grip specially in fast stages.. this was a spectacular run..
It is very much like driving on ice with summer tires. Everyone knows that if there's been rain and very wet, you can run and slide on grass barefoot to point where you want. Imagine a rally1 car with worn tires.

Those that have wrc+ or RallyTV whatever they are calling it now. Watch Neuvilles onboard from this stage. I think he had the most rain. Also just before the muddy/rainy bit starts, a pack of zebras run across the road and he nearly hit them. Really cool piece of onboard. And it's fun to listen Thierry go "ooooooooh" every time he is sliding 😂 this is good too. At the start Jonne thought he was reading the wrong page from the notebook. So Kalle drove a small while without notes 😉 Professional champion

Bought a month for this rally. Pressed live stage and black 🔳 screen on my TV 📺. Kept trying reset it but same result. I cant speak Polish or French but thanks god for Canal and the Polish motorsport channel. I swear Bt sports could rival sky f1. If they bought the rights to every stage live. If I was a company leadsr I would definitely be trying to buy the rights Canal. They have excellent pundits in Ogier Ex co driver and live throughout the day. I had my phone volume up to listen to English while watching Canal. Great and I hope I'll be able to watch Rally Estonia also on Canal. Shame on wrc 10.99 ain't cheap for 8 rally 1 cars . And man thjz app has been a problem sense start of season it will show me highlights of wrc 2. But once I press highlights of anything else I just dark screen annoying I love rally more than f1. A British channel buying all stages I'd subscription to that channel immediately 😀
It's insane that the driver and co-driver must stay fully concentrated for 20 minutes without any kind of pauses. In addition, accidentally flipping a couple of pages by mistake at the start was probably psychologically demanding for both!
Rovanpera Sr and Rovanpera Jr are literally the Verstappen Sr and Verstappen Jr of the racing world. Though Rovanpera Sr arguably got better material throughout his career. Verstappen Sr never really got that apart from his races with Benetton
Amazing onboard but please remove these random cuts to the crew. Having them in the small section in the bottom left is okay but we'd like to see the road, not the crew.

Kalle rarely looks through the passenger side. He is busy checking from the driver's seat. It usually goes worse on the side the wipers turn. 😉
