I challenge you to do the stay at home burnout with Adam Lz. That will help you with viewers, I love your commitment and I know you can send it.. STAY AT HOME BURNOUT 🤟🤟🤟🤟 nice shocks by the way
I don't see a jack stand on the front when your starting to work on it. Please use jack stands so that you don't die, esp being under it and wrenching on it. If your jumping on it and it hits frame, regardless of the shock when your driving and hit a big bump the axle will hit the frame 😲
You continue to SHOCK us with how well your builds turn out! Loving this one, for sure! And also loving seeing your boys in videos -- they make my day!
SHOCK & SHOCKED! Our family LOVES watching you and your family. Our son wants to restore a classic American car. We’ve watched a ton of great videos. By far, our whole family is watching your videos. You should hear me answering your kiddos when they ask “Do you see my eye?” I’m screaming with delight & excitement, “YES!!” We love how you work with your kids. Your wife rocks, from one wife to another. Our son said he likes how you and your kids communicate like adults. I said, “Babe! That’s what we did with you!” I remember when he was 2 and amazed that he literally talked me into something. Point being. We love you guys and pray the Lord totally opens heaven over you and your family and continues surprising each of you with your heart’s desires and your family and work continues to flourish. Way to keep it real. Thank you for making a channel. We LOVE you guys. Tell your kiddos and wife we love seeing them and what a great family.
Getting the proper shocks will make a smoother ride. Good video, I recently purchased a 75 C 10 for $600 from a neighbor who needed a quick sell. Been fixing her up. Got it to run and now I am going to be joining your challenge. I will be watching your C10 challenge as a guide to what I need to do to jazz my c10--step ny step the truck will be =come the envy of the small town I live in. Thanks for doing and making the videos.
I have a 1967 short wheelbase stepside, my brother has a 1971 short wheelbase stepside, and my dad has a 1978 long wheelbase dually with a flat bed, so I guess you can see we love these trucks! This came up in my discover page and it’s a great idea for a series! Keep up the good work!
Enjoyed watching this build. I had one of these c10’s back in the day. Just curious why you didn’t go with shackles and hangers in back with front drop spindles. Saw some off brand ones on eBay for $371 shipped. Not knocking it, it’s cool to see how else you can drop this style truck and how you have the kids involved. Great work dude! 👍👍
Shocks, nice truck, I love Chevys....I'm on the market...for this era, 80s. To many are the best. Many beg to differ on the 93 obs....but to me the square body is a well fitted look...454.SS fan
Love the 85 Chevys. I'm shocked you found one so cheap. Good paint job and sounds like maybe a new power steering pump you could get quite a bit for it.
Awesome build man. I got two more ideas. Starlight headliner and wrap it. Could be done for less then 500 combined. Just an idea. Keep the videos coming
Hey how's it going I just started watching your videos and you have good content keep up the good work. I was wondering how much your asking for it I'm from Minnesota
I'm shocked you didnt get the rear wheels closer to the fender. Truck looks good. When you build the truck, you should look into the cosmis truck wheel. Keep up the great work and stay safe.
I did a 4/6 Calli drop. Did it to my 87 pick-up it was fun. The rubbing maybe the rim hitting the lower control arm when truning. It did the same thing to me.
I just got an 87 c10 and I couldn’t find anything on doing a budget build for now (I just bought another truck for a daily) but it runs and drives and I just want to make it look good for now so this is amazing content
You should scrape the rust out from below and paint it black not to expensive just do it your self or sand it and buy spray paint when you look down it’ll look brand new the calipers same paint would make it look more sporty since it’s lowered now :)
Good stuff man! I'm currently building a '93 GMC Sierra K1500 that will need some of the upgrades you put into your build. Love this kind of stuff and thanks for the awesome videos. Can't wait to see the finished product!
Shocks always make a difference! I drove my c10 with a 4/6 drop and left stock shocks... changed em out for lowered ones and holy hell those monroe shocks sucked so bad compared to the brand new ones.
next time take two metal hammers and hammer hit hard from two sides at the same time to shock the ball joint loose. Learned this from my uncle, you just need a couple of hits. Once you got the timing right it will definitely pop loose.
It's shocking how good this looks with new shocks, I hope once you're finished the 'budget' side, you can fix the dented panels and give it a respray and get+5k back for it
Man... try putting a 2” lift coil in a ‘95 c1500. That thing was so hard to put in cause we had to send the compressors up the middle cause there’s no room on the outside
Ok guys first that's the rear end centering pin on the leaf springs pickle forks remove ball joints out of the spindle as for ubolts try wd40 or heat best bet its tighten them till they break now I'll finish the video. Finished congrats

The way this thing is turning out "shocks" me. It's amazing what $2000 can do. Keep it up man.
It bugged me so much that you didn’t take the wheel off when doing the leaf spring work
Gustavo Mendoza LoL... me too but I get why he didn’t either
Same!!!
It would’ve been so much easier for him 🤦♂️
and he hits the tire with the blade at 2:36 made me cringe hard
My thoughts exactly made it much harder to remove
I'm quite SHOCKED at how much of a difference that makes to the look of it!
I don't see a jack stand on the front when your starting to work on it. Please use jack stands so that you don't die, esp being under it and wrenching on it.
If your jumping on it and it hits frame, regardless of the shock when your driving and hit a big bump the axle will hit the frame 😲
What a shock to see the little man going at high speed and having such a great time. You are amazing and crazy all rolled in to one.
It "Shocks" me that you havent washed that truck 🤣
😆😆😆😆
Shox me that you didn’t provide a link to the lowering kit!! I need it for my 84 !
Same here
Felt that
You continue to SHOCK us with how well your builds turn out! Loving this one, for sure! And also loving seeing your boys in videos -- they make my day!
I’m shocked you’re selling it.

Love your truck build and keep it up man
Watching that impact gun rattle that u-bolt side to side brings back memories lol great build series.
Shocked .😍😍 love how the truck is turning out
You need to wash that thing already, would look 20 times better.
I mean... I wouldn't, it would get dirty again if he started to work on it
Just rewash it lol, I’m tired of seeing them dirty tires haha
I agree, just when he's totally done with the build

It's "shocking" to see this bad boy so low xD love this project
I'm shocked and amazed that I got to watch a good "rebuild/lower/do-over" AND get to see quality family time !! Keep them coming!
Finally!! Been waiting on this video. Thank you!
Shocks, nice truck, I love Chevys....I'm on the market...for this era, 80s. To many are the best. Many beg to differ on the 93 obs....but to me the square body is a well fitted look...454.SS fan

BUDGET*
Hey how's it going I just started watching your videos and you have good content keep up the good work. I was wondering how much your asking for it I'm from Minnesota
I'm shocked that the kit cost only $300. What a great difference, coming along. Super excited about the detailing though cus it needs it for sure 😂
Huge fan of the change from cheesy dubstep to the chillwave. Mmm mm goodness
I'm shocked you didnt get the rear wheels closer to the fender. Truck looks good. When you build the truck, you should look into the cosmis truck wheel. Keep up the great work and stay safe.
Why is it cold 😂😂😂😂😂 ❤
I did a 4/6 Calli drop. Did it to my 87 pick-up it was fun. The rubbing maybe the rim hitting the lower control arm when truning. It did the same thing to me.
Another great video not "Shocked" at all GJ.
Hey you have a link to the whole lowering kit? Or if someone else knows it would be greatly appreciated 👍
I’m ready to be shocked by the paint he’s gonna do
Like the squarebody series, I’m building a couple myself. Great video keep it up.
Shocks or shocked ;) I was laughing so hard when you hit you head and arm at the same time
Where did you get a lowering kit for $300?
be nice if he replied! Go to switchsuspension.com. they are reasonable
Awesome build.. proof you can still make something look a lot better on a budget. Keep up the builds.
from being hacked to 40k views in what? 24 hours? big moves. the consistency is key! shocks.
Not SHOCKED at all to see more great content from Built. Keep up the great work!
I just got an 87 c10 and I couldn’t find anything on doing a budget build for now (I just bought another truck for a daily) but it runs and drives and I just want to make it look good for now so this is amazing content
Brings back memories of lowering my 87 GMC. Liking this series. Keep it up.
Looks sick! I had to subscribe. Should have done a height comparison. Hope to see more on this build !
Looks great love me a mini sledge and GIBBS works great for rusty parts and bolts
You should scrape the rust out from below and paint it black not to expensive just do it your self or sand it and buy spray paint when you look down it’ll look brand new the calipers same paint would make it look more sporty since it’s lowered now :)
Hey what size spring and brand flip kit did you use
Awesome truck and great ride height with the new “shock” set up. Let me know what you will be asking for the truck when ready to sell. Thanks
Shocks! Are those some of those new fangled things? Like brakes.
Shocking how much of a difference a lowering kit makes on the look of a truck.
shocked by the look of the truck before and after absolutely beautiful
Good stuff man! I'm currently building a '93 GMC Sierra K1500 that will need some of the upgrades you put into your build. Love this kind of stuff and thanks for the awesome videos. Can't wait to see the finished product!
Totally not SHOCKED that you made this thing look so much better already!
Where did you purchase ur kit from trying to lower my 85' c10 aswell
Looks great !
Can you share the lowering kit Link with us ?
Thank you 🙏
Good ol shocks and springs work. It will always kick your ass on old American cars lol
What lowering kit did you buy? I cant seem to find a $300 kit anywhere.
I liked so much these wheels !!! It combined very well !!!
Hi buddy I been watching your videos can you please give the part number for the lowering kit please
Shocks always make a difference! I drove my c10 with a 4/6 drop and left stock shocks... changed em out for lowered ones and holy hell those monroe shocks sucked so bad compared to the brand new ones.
I’d say put a roll pan on with the little bit of budget you have left. It’ll drastically improve the look
SHOCKED is an understatement on what you’ve done for $2k!! Love it!
This truck shocked me with how awesome you made it look without breaking the bank. Love the vids keep it up
Where r u from I could definitely use your help with my build lol. U make it seem so easy and motivational to do mine with a budget
Another budget thing u could do... Exaust tips on them raw tailpipes. Should make it look a little better
Diemon Dave should buy it and call it the half shocked judy!
Really awesome video. Wasn't SHOCK it came out great.
Your energy is making me modify my truck
Shocked my guy. Can’t wait to scoop me up a c10 again. Had an 83 through high school. Miss her everyday.
Wd-40 and a steel brush on rusted and dirty bolts will make a difference. You'll be shocked with how easy clean threads loosen and tighten
I can tell you love this truck -- shocked you're selling!
I've never met a C/K owner that didn't miss their truck. I still miss mine, 10 yrs later.
Love your little helpers!!!! Shocks or shocked I made it to the end every time
next time take two metal hammers and hammer hit hard from two sides at the same time to shock the ball joint loose.
Learned this from my uncle, you just need a couple of hits. Once you got the timing right it will definitely pop loose.
Would you suggest taking the rear wheels off before starting that again?
It's shocking how good this looks with new shocks, I hope once you're finished the 'budget' side, you can fix the dented panels and give it a respray and get+5k back for it
Video SHOCKED me once again.. great content!! Keep on going!!
Shocks are in, wobbles are out. The C10 is probably feeling as if it went to the gym.
Great video, an will use your tip on the shocks.
Shocks! Love the content with the kiddos! See you in the next one🤙
Make sure when you lowered it ,that the driveshaft yoke isn't slamming into the tailshaft.
Random question, what kind of boots are those? -Truck looks great!
Not "SHOCKED" how sweet it turned out. You can't beat the looks of a square body!
Love the channel and seeing your boys...they are always funny and are going to be just like their dad wrenching someday!!
What lowering kit did u use
they way you put those shocks in shocked me
Shocks! Lol. I dig the truck. I love old chevy box body trucks
2000 dollar shock truck! Keep up the good work!
Man... try putting a 2” lift coil in a ‘95 c1500. That thing was so hard to put in cause we had to send the compressors up the middle cause there’s no room on the outside
Love the pickup, wondering how much the paint jobs gonna cost? Keep it up.👌💯
Do you have a link for the shock upgrade?
I’m shocked you didn’t use a pickle fork to separate the ball joint. Cheap tool that makes that part way easier.
Does anyone know where or who makes the lowering equipment he used on this truck
Ok guys first that's the rear end centering pin on the leaf springs pickle forks remove ball joints out of the spindle as for ubolts try wd40 or heat best bet its tighten them till they break now I'll finish the video. Finished congrats
Where did you find the 300$ lowering kit? I’m shocked at how well it turned out
that hammer shocked the ball joint into fleeing its home.... run ball joint run....
Shocks specific to your lowering kit are key
What drop kit did you buy? I’d like to do this to my truck
im always shocked on how good these videos are!
looking good, already see the thumbnail for the next one. SHOCKED
Next video you should wash and detail the exterior of your truck. Maybe even putting a layer of wax so the black can be darker!
Wow this build is SHOCKing what great build dude!! Keep up the great content!
