Went to Kenya in august 2021. As a solo female traveler, I was initially concerned about my safety but Kenyans were very protective and respectful to me. Felt safer walking around Nairobi at night than walking around Manhattan NYC in daytime. The good thing about Kenya is that we switch from Kiswahili to English depending on who we are talking with meaning that language is nothing but a means of communication.
