    Also, Nairobi is so expansive in area and I think we havent put a better plan in place to deal with trash in most of the low cost areas.

    I am a Kenyan but honestly when it comes to cleanliness Kigali has it! Such a beautiful scenery and thepeople are so dedicated in safeguarding their environment. I think with the history Rwanda has it has really come a long way and am sure the Sky is the limit. They've built something wonderful and still they are, I love Rwanda. My home country Kenya is really also a modern, cultural like its more diverse in everything. Love it to bits. Generally every country has its pros n cons. There's so much to see in Kenya and Rwanda.

    The most important for me is that you traveled to Africa and experienced it. Welcome again. We want more of our black brothers and sisters coming to Africa. Overall Nairobi would win because it’s a huge and more modern city and in a much larger economy than that of Rwanda. Nairobi should be compared with cities like Lagos, Accra, or even Cape Town. Rwanda is smaller but extremely beautiful with very wonderful people. Kenyans love Rwanda.

      @isaacpatron7428 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Gilbert Ogolla You don't even understand what comparison is.. listen well to all the topics they have discussed you will come up to understand... even if Nairobi can have equal population to Rwanda's that's still normal to have things that you can talk about each country wether good or bad. That's the purpose of a discussion... isn't Vatican very small compared to one county of Kenya ? But there's still a lot that Vatican can outnumber Kenya or Kenya versa versa. I hope you understand.

    I am Kenyan and I truly am enjoying all your content. My take on the scenery bit, I have also been to Kigali and I cannot disagree with you on the scenery, cleanliness and general outlook of the city, however based on the fact that there is a little more scenery in Nairobi than Kigali (obviously because of the difference in size of the two countries) but what I would take as the win is that we have a National Park right in the middle of Nairobi. But that is just my take. Keep up with the awesome content.

  • @2464hellen

    As a Kenyan I agree on security. Nairobi there's a security issue. On scenery it depends with what your looking for, I mean Nairobi is a big city hence modern not only on infrastructure but also on services rendered, mindset of its citizens hence the B&B , Uber services etc. Kenyans have travelled vast hence bringing back home the modern culture.

    Great analysis. To provide alitle more context on the disparities, Kenya is generally geographically larger, has a more diverse and cheaper human labor, diverse climate (explains the great variety in food), also it has a coastline and port that serves all of Rwanda. Kenya is also way richer. While Rwanda is a must visit for every traveller, Kenya is definitely more interesting in terms of the richness of the visitor's experience.

      @anthonyclementson9658 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@antony6799 it might probably be longer than 5 years but it definitely won't be 20 years. Rwanda economy is currently doing better than Kenya at the moment and they've an annual growth rate of 3-7 % for the last 15 years and mind you this is a country that bounce back from a genocide that occur 29 yrs ago. Countries that went thru this don't ever bounce so quick... Right now its not a matter of if Rwanda will catch up to Kenya but its a matter of when.

    • @antony6799
      @antony6799 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@anthonyclementson9658 In terms of GDP I dont see it ever happening since Kenya has like 8-10 times bigger GDP than Rwanda plus a bigger population. In terms of individual living standards they might catch up but I still stick to the 20 year time frame, coz with Rwandas growth rate it takes roughly a decade for incomes to double, Kenyan incomes are currently around 3 times bigger than Rwandas, and we assume incomes will catch up only on the premise of zero growth in kenya for the next decade or so, a scenario far fetched since Kenya grows at a significant rate too, in some years like in 2021 Kenya's growth rate was actually higher than Rwandas

    The Rwanda greenery is an extension of the Congo basin rainforest. Nairobi although with healthy weather and green too, it's climate is more drier than that of Rwanda in every measure.

      @@daudiomufwokoochami2563 Nairobi is no longer swampy nor is it semi arid. Nairobi is a plateau edging the central highlands of Kenya hence relatively mild in climate with a good mix of rains, sunshine and dry spells in corresponding seasons throughout the year

    Rwanda is epic, I would love to visit those guys, but flying across Africa is expensive. Kenya is epic too, we could improve on cleanliness and security but it's not so bad.

    Do your thing, travel ..learn, enjoy and stop the comparison. It doesn't do justice to each individual country. Every one country is unique, the entire continent is a mixed bag of surprises. ❤

      💯 great feedback. It's said never compare your children. Each of them is unique, with their own personal journeys....support them in achieving their full potential .
      People love their countries and may take this comparisons a bit 'personal' however polite you are😂....like I saw a Tanzanian write several paragraphs on the Kenya -TZ video trust me he was ranting🙈😅

This is not for you and me in Africa but those who aspire to visit the continent. We are blessed you come back home Karibu sana.,

    I'm Rwandan. I love the way you compared Kigali to Nairobi, you were honest and unbiased. We are not jealous at all, we grew up knowing Nairobi is a big city, and dreaming to visit the country. Our country is still being built, we are happy you can enjoy our country. Shalom!

    The mere comparison of the two is a testament to the significant progress that Rwanda has made. Kenya is a powerhouse and has made impressive strides in many areas
    It's worth giving credit to Kenya for their assistance in Rwanda's recovery from the 1994 genocide against the Tutsis.
