      You made my day!! ❤️ I haven't tried margarine, but I think as long as it is solid at room temperature it should be okay! Let me know if it works!!!

      Hi Natalia! Thank you so much for your comment! To make them vegan, I unfortunately I don't know a replacement (for non-vegan you can use egg whites). The aquafaba binds the cookie and gives the that meringue base. Please let me know if you try it!

    Hi, one question: do you whip your aquafaba before using it or can you just use the liquid from a can of chickpeas?

      I whip the liquid slightly from the can of chickpeas, I find it works best if the liquid is cold!

      @@JamisonJoy hey I tried the recipe and I think I messed up the dough. If the dough is cracking/breaking when I’m trying to fold it, does that mean I don’t have the right proportions? I may not have used enough aquafaba…

      @@KnightPapa Hi! It sounds like they may be getting slightly overbaked, you only have about a minute or so to bend them. But if they are cracking before that minute is over, then try baking them for 30 less seconds and see if that helps!

      It makes about a dozen (I usually double it!)
