Before I was born, my grandma and grandpa got (if I remember correctly) a ~50k settlement after my grandpa was injured on the job. Practically all of it went to Benny Hinn. Only a couple years later my grandpa died of cancer and my grandma is currently in what is essentially hospice care from her MS and cirrhosis. Despite the fact they gave THOUSANDS over the years to these vultures and saw nothing in return in the way of health or wealth, my grandma still believes in them and I find her watching “prosperity” preachers often. Since she is in my mom’s care, my mom had to start hiding her credit cards around 2016 to stop her from spending more money on these people when she noticed large sums of money disappearing and my grandma admitted to sending them more. These people are the scum of the earth and will never see the heaven they preach for scamming desperate, innocent people
Dude im sorry to hear that. Ive had family members in similar situations. Im a Christian and cant stand Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen, and the others for twisting and misrepresenting our beliefs for their personal gain. Its my belief and many other Christians' that these snakes are a stain. Funnily enough, the same Bible they claim to derive their teachings from says misrepresenting or editing it for personal gain is essentially a one way ticket to a very hot place. I hope none of your other family members buy into their crap and any that have will get out of it and im sorry for the hurt theyve caused you and yours
My grandmother was obsessed with Peter Popoff. We found out she was sending him $1000 a month in hopes of getting a magic million dollar check in the mail. She did this for YEARS. She was eventually diagnosed with dementia, and we were able to put a stop to it. It was plain sad
$12,000 a year sheeeesh…. No offense it’s sad that she did it with the hope for a million dollar check, but it just goes to show the true nature of these schemes
I had a professor who was hardcore anti-televangelist. Despite that, when he ended up falling ill with a debilitating disease that left him wracked with pain for years, he found himself so desperate that when watching one of these Televangelist shows he ended up following through with it just because he was so desperate for relief. Thats what these people do. They prey upon the ill and desperate. They’re horrible.
@@finchrollah8656You'd be surprised how drastic people change due to fear or desperation. My mom was not the best person growing up, but she was very open minded compared to other people around us. She raised me Christian, yet we always lit a menorah every year to celebrate Hanukah because my mother wanted me to be aware of the other religions around us at the time (lot of Jewish kids where I grew up apparently). She let me learn about reincarnation and even said she can see it being a possibility from shit I said as a small child. She refused to take me to church and didn't watch any televangelist because she saw that stuff as manipulative and not necessary to pray/worship God. Then she got sick. She had a chronic lung infection that was non tuberculin in origin. She began coughing up blood and was petrified. Shortly after that, she began reading the bible more, started cutting out all music that wasn't gospel, and fell prey to televangelism. Nowadays, she's a completely different person and refuses to admit they're bad people. She puts herself in danger to go to bible study every week (can't see at night when she drives). She cannot miss a single donation. I've had to toss their letters to her at this point the moment I see them in the hopes they'll stop sending them after some time without donations. My mom was never like that before, but fear of death made her turn into what she never wanted to be. We all think we'd be different and not become like these poor souls, but we're just as likely under the right circumstances.
This predatory christian tradition goes back hundreds of years. That was the main complaint Martin Luther had with the catholic church in the 6th century. Church officials were selling worthless papers with written dispensations to the poorest of the poor slaves/serfs so the serfs could get relatives out of the make believe pergatory. Protestantism began in Germany in revolt of that sickening practice. Oh boy! Look at all the protestants practicing evil scams against desperate people now! It is a predatory christian tradition. Christian. Another word for predator.

What pisses me off about the whole "Jesus wouldn't ride a donkey" is that he'd absolutely be riding the equivalent to one. The man would be flying coach and driving around in a beige '96 corolla. He never had any interest in opulence and extravagance, he wouldn't invest in a private jet.
Not only that, but it's in the bible that his mother rode a donkey. So he's pretty much dissing his mom. Edit: OK, to the lazy and late, I already know that this part where Mary rode a donkey is just tradition and not in the bible. But Jesus himself rode a donkey into Jerusalem where he was met by cheering crowds.

As someone who grew up attending churches with capacities ranging from 20-50, the very concept of a megachurch, of going to a *stadium* for a sermon, baffles me. There's no room for a personal connection there. I guess that's part of why it's so easy to run scams through them.
Same our little Christian church maxed out at like 15-20 people (mostly family members) and all the money that went on the basket was spent on us to go mini golfing and getting ice cream together. Honestly it wasn't that bad even for a kid. An hour or two on Sunday mornings and we were allowed to draw and color and stuff. Nothing like those crazy 4+ hour masses where you gotta keep standing up and praying every 20 minutes. I could never sit through that.
Same, on a good day we would see upwards of 24 people. Megachurches are such a foreign concept to me, I've been to them a couple of times and it just feels so removed from God.
I once delivered a massive lunch order to the Potter's House in Dallas. One of the largest, richest churches in Texas. Three vehicles worth of food and not a cent in tip. And they were demanding that I "set up" their order a certain way. I delivered to a small, tiny church in Arlington for a small luncheon. Got a generous $20 tip and a kind blessing.
See, I'm not religious, but my Poppop is. Overall, he can be questionable in his ethics sometimes, but some people in his congregation are so sweet. Shout out to my girl Dolores. Such a sweet elderly woman. She's a real one. But it is fascinating to see how different people in the same branch of religion (or in the same church, for that matter) can vary so differently.

There are many “Christian’s” who won’t see heaven bc they’ve followed man over God. Believing a preacher over the word of God which is written in the Bible. These mega church preachers twist the word of God to fit their own narrative
Sounds about right. Poor/working class people usually tip the best. Rich people are the ones most likely to stiff you on a tip. And for megachurch pastors it’s only even more unsurprising.
All scammers operate out of the same playbook. Televangelists, cryptobros, redpillers,Twitch tankies, self help gurus, business "advisors", there's like a 90% commonality in all of their business operations.
When a mega church pastor writes a book (and they all do) the church will purchase thousands of them to sell to the congregation. This does two things, it makes the pastor an instant New York Times Best Seller because of the volume, and it also give the pastor buckets of money. Its like an infinite money cheat code for mega church pastors.
It is uncanny how this is almost the same method how Hitler's Mein Kampf became the most-sold book in Nazi Germany. State and party would buy it and distribute it to students, newlyweds and others, basically printing money for him.
The craziest thing about Kenneth Copeland is that he's arguably the most successful of these people but he somehow LITERALLY looks and sounds like a demon pretending to be a preacher from like, an early-2000's religious action movie. Like, prosthetics and everything. And people still give him millions of dollars for some reason
What's even crazier, is NO pastor anywhere informs their followers that tithing is the same thing as donating and if the church is a non-profit or charity, ALL of the attendees can claim tax breaks for ALL of the tithing they've given. Id normally say that's a good thing but literally no-one knows this

fun story about the joel olsteen story: Jim McIngvale, aka, mattress mack, is a local furniture store owner who is a local hero around here in houston. when harvey rolled through and joel didn't open his church, ol' mattress mack opened up his massive store and allowed it to be used as a shelter during the worst of the hurricane. needless to say, if we didn't already love him before this, we love him even more now.
I remember his church being one of the places that didn’t flood. When I found out he wasn’t helping he city, he upgraded to con artist in my book. My parent’s place fortunately didn’t flood but we had plenty of friends that did. I don’t know how people still supported him afterwards
How did they decide who got to sleep on which mattress/bed? Was it like a first-come-first-serve like for who got dibs on the vibrating bed or electric-reclining orthopaedic bed?? 😶🙄
Great because Osteen's church didn't 'lock people out' or any such thing. Nor was there any emergency flooding around their church. The few staff that were there CORRECTLY told people that they did not have any kind of emergency facilities and weren't made to be a shelter of any kind. Then tried to find out where people ought to go for those things. Yes, 'Mattress Mack' would be far more capable of that than the church that, as usual, had most sidedoors locked and didn't have shelter or emergency aid or lots of beds.
@@DodgyDaveGTXdude its not about the beds, its about getting shelter from a horrific hurricane. Anyone with a flooded or destroyed house that has likely lost most of their belongings and possibly a family member or pet doesn’t really give a fuck about sleeping on the fanciest mattress, they just need a place where they wont drown or get blown away.
The scummiest tactic that they use is when they play on people's fear and desperation, when they tell them that they can't afford to NOT donate their last $100 because God will give them 10x that in return

29:00 those "disaster buckets" are usually a scam, just make your own storm kit. Get some freeze dried backpacking meals, bottles of water, a camp stove, and some blankets to store in a safe place. My family did that and we ended up just fine after a really bad blizzard trapped us for 3 days with no power one year, and a tornado took out the power plant another year.
I wouldn't necessarily call them a scam. You're just paying an extreme premium for someone putting together a worse kit than you could for half or less of the money. These "prepper" kits are for those who have little knowledge in the matter or are just too lazy to piece one together themselves.
@2amichaelj Who end up buying kits that don't include water or a method to heat that water to re-hydrate the food. Hell most of them are just X number of meals in a 5 gallon bucket.
Mattress Mack has repeatedly opened his doors for people in need in Houston, TX. He's opened doors at his showrooms and warehouses going back all the way to Hurricane Katrina. This is wild. My catholic church doesn’t even ask for money directly, they tell us that if for any reason we feel uncomfortable giving them money then we can give to charities and it counts as tithing.
I was grown up catholic, the word "tithe" was never heard. It was just a donation, completely optional it was even in opaque bags so nobody sees who donates what. It was also told if you can't afford to donate, don't. And we audited where ever we spent it.
@@a1612 donation are important. The sharing of resources among Christians is an old tradition. The first Christian manual on how to live the faith mentions giving donations. Pope Clement I (c.a. 100 A.D.) urged Christians to give their offerings systematically, thus following God’s laws. And seeing as the Catholic Church is the biggest charity in the world (you don’t have to take my word for it just google it) I have no reason to doubt them. I think the option to give to other charities is nice for those that maybe have a specific cause they want to help with.
My chirch offered other means of thithing. Volenterring time or talents to the church was tithing. So playing musical instruments for the service or mowing the church lawn. This was tithing too.
Born and raised Catholic and went to every Sunday mass, the first time I encountered the word "tithe" was when I played a Simpson's-themed monopoly. Never felt pressure to give when the offertory basket was passed, felt like it was always understood that it was a matter of discretion and there was no guilt or judgment if you couldn't give any. Found it weird when I learned other Christian churches mandate a 10% offering, since this practice was from an old law specific only to the Levites and not required in the New Testament. But then again, those are one of the many weird things that happen when people interpret scripture for themselves with no historical or theological context.
What astounds me about “Jesus would be on a Boeing” is the fact that. A donkey wasn’t the nicest thing he could’ve been on in Jesus times, right? He could’ve been on a stallion or a chariot, but he specifically took the donkey. The donkey is symbolic of the inherent humble nature of Christ. It was a deliberate choice to illustrate that a king isn’t necessarily the person on a stallion or a chariot. When Christianity mixes with hubris, you breed the opposite of what it was supposed to be.
I'm not religious, and I've never felt compelled to rely on faith healing, but I was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune disorder as a teenager. Every time I have flare ups and I'm writhing in bed in excruciating pain or itching EVERYWHERE for HOURS, it makes you irrational and incredibly desperate. I think I'm a well adjusted and mentally stable person, but when nothing else helps and you're in chronic pain, I could absolutely convince myself to sell EVERYTHING just for the prospect of getting a few minutes of respite. Preying on people at their lowest and most unstable part in their lives is vile. I would genuinely put these people up with child abusers in a tier list of horrible people.

What is crazy about this is that it literally warns people IN THE BIBLE to BEWARE OF FALSE PROPHETS but people keep buying into these devilish pastors instead of following their own freaking religion.

Matthew 19:24 "And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."

to these people the only scriptures that exist are the ones that further their gains. can't even try to use scripture to rebuke them because they'll pull out 10 more that "supports" their pov
it also says if a man rapes a woman he has to marry her and that it's ok to stone someone after it says not to kill. Then there was that part about god killing everyone on earth except noah and his family. Ahhhh... I'm so glad I get my moral compass from the bible.. without it I might do some crazy shit.
Jesus basically directly states that rich people don't go to heaven, categorically. A camel would easier fit through the eye of a needle, than for that to happen. And it makes sense in his ethical system. You are supposed to give everything you have for the sake of others, because ultimately what happens to you in life doesn't matter. Do as best you can, even if it kills you and you will be exponentially rewarded for it afterwards. Being rich means hoarding wealth that could instead be in the hands of those in need doing good. But another thing to note is, Jesus doesn't know our idea of hell. He talks about sinners being destroyed, not tortured. They get to die a second time, while the virtuous live forever.
Yes if there is the deepest darkest pits of Hell, these pastors would be there hopefully. Everyone sins, but actually using the Lord's words for your own gains and lying to people just wanting a relationship with the Lord is hopefully one of the worst sins. 1 Timothy 6:3-10 Error and Greed 3 If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, 4 he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, 5 *useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.* 6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. 9 *But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.* Philippians 2:5-11 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
In the behind the scenes of the movie “Prince of Darkness” Alice Cooper was talking about how he’s a Christian and that he believes that the devil exists. I’m paraphrasing but I think he says: “Want proof of evil? Look at televangelists man, they have the biggest stage to represent Christianity and any time they mess up they make a mockery of the entire religion.”
In all honesty, I be so down to hear Alice do a sermon if he were willing to do it. Man sounds like he could give a good one that doesn't beat around the bush.
You should definitely do a video on the Stanford Prison experiment! Its actually such a weird story, it was basically a flawed 'experiment' from the word go yet its become so ingrained in pop psychology
I would watch the hell out of that video. The context surrounding The Stanford Prison Experiment both during and after the “experiment” is such a rabbit hole.
Yeah theres very interesting experiments that replicate the experiment using elcetro shocks, etc. or the perception of thinking your shocking someone. Those experiments show that in the stanford experiment, the participants were clearly picked on acccunt of being more aggresive. The experiment itself is interesting but its a definitely a whole rabbit hole especially with the expanded set of experiments to try and replicate the stanford prison experiment. Some very interesting learning about power dynamics and how much they vary given the context and the individual. Theres also many related experiments that were directly linked to the stanfrod prison experiment though they demonstrate some similar/adjacent findings
A televangelist near my hometown tried to build a 750-foot tower with a rotating restaurant at the top (keep in mind this is in the middle of the aging rust belt of Ohio). The project lost money halfway through and now it's the world's ugliest cellular tower. Look up the "Rex Humbard Tower", or as I like to call it, "Rex's Erection".
As a Christian man I despise these super church leaders they go against everything the Lord teaches his followers. Jesus said in Matthew 19:24 "And again is say unto you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God".
Matthew 7:22-23 “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” But hey, that’s just from the Bible. They obviously don’t read that. 🙄
Idk how the folk who follow them get tricked by their gaslight tactics. It takes one read of the whole book and you can smell the stench of bs from the scammers . Idk who they prophesize but it ain't Jesus, that is for sure.
Honestly I have no sympathy for the people who fall for this nonsense. Simply reading the Gospels highlights just how antithetical to Christianity it all is, and there’s no excuse not to read them considering how easy they are to access. “And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” - Matthew 19:24
I worked on Kenneth Copelands house some years ago, church bought him $100,000 sun shades for his back patio… not him, the church bought it. And those people were very weird about someone had to be with us always and they talked about him like he was the voice of God. Cameras everywhere, literally on poles just randomly placed around the property. Had to go through 2 security gates to get to his house and go through his own private airport. It was insane to see as a guy who grew up in a very Christian home.
Yeah I mean him and a lot of those people think they they are actual prophets or apostles with the power to make prophecy, heal the sick, speak in tongues and interpret it. Some of those guys even make more outlandish claims like being able to resurrect the dead or walk on water. Of course they never actually succeed in doing any of that but they say they can
@@ithinkweregoingtoneedabigg8525 depends. I think American Christianity is the worst offender, but I’ve been to plenty of churches here in my home state that are legit. The bad apples usually get the most rep though, for obvious reasons.
Being in Houston most of my life as soon as I saw this vid I was like "god I hope he talks about Osteen" and you did not disappoint one single bit. One thing I really wish you mentioned was in 2021 a plumber was repairing a pipe in the bathroom at Lakewood, went to remove a portion of the wall and approx 500 envelopes full of cash poured out. The church had reported $600,000 "stolen" in 2014 but the investigation never turned up anything, & they didn't seem too concerned about that yet were adamant about the envelopes being returned to the church.
This needs to be talked about more, it's the biggest scam ever. some laws need to be put in place. Just because it's religion should not make them any different from any other organization.
I know a guy who rents out buildings around here (Mississippi), one was rented to what was a local church at the time, the lady pastor told him one time that she became a preacher because she saw preachers rolling around in fancy high-dollar vehicles and she wanted to make that kinda money. She kept getting evicted from places because she refused to pay rent ever and every time she was kicked out from a place they would stage a protest claiming racism.
Well, pretty sure women aren't allowed to be pastors according to the Bible. 1Timothy 2:11-12 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man, she must be silent.
@@smithsmith1956 if I remember right there's even more written on it and it depends on interpretation and the context of the letter being written. Several interpretation I've heard is that it's specifically for the church at the time that it is forbidden, because there were several rules and traditions from the time that were based on / made specifically for how the general people at the time would perceive them. Kinda like how some people interpret men having long hair as being something you should not do but others saying g it's fine. But idk I've never gone that deep into the question I've just heard a few arguments back and forth about it. To be honest I don't think that particular pastor cared one way or the other about what the Bible actually said anyway
@@smithsmith1956If you put together a list of everything these pastors do that the Bible unequivocally forbids, you'd be writing a long time. There's a difference between a scam and a grift. A scam is predicated almost entirely on falsehoods and fabrications, usually carried out under a false identity or alias by the perpetrator. A grift can be based on falsehoods but typically goes through legal loopholes to pull off immoral and/or malicious activities ( though illegal activity often takes place just beneath the surface), typically in broad daylight and in open view of the public. It's like the difference between a break-in and a heist.
That’s not what a grift is either, a grift is basically making people believe you are part of their ideology to get money from them, but you don’t actually care for their ideology
I think of a grift as actually providing what the grifter says it will BUT in bad faith knowing that the outcome will not be what they promised. Like all of those disgusting Hustlers U courses and the like which SAY they will provide courses on business that will help you get rich and then it's just the most basic shit. Legally they provided what they promised but they *know* it won't actually be worth the money they were paid. That said, there's no *real* legal difference or anything. A scam, con, grift or fraud can all be used for the same thing.

I have not stepped foot in church in many years, and you are correct, the true church is not a building, it's the body of Christ. That does not mean that those who gather together in a building to truly praise and worship should be condemned or ridiculed. My status as a Christian does not require your approval or anyone else's. It was established along with my salvation the moment I put my faith in Christ alone. That is available to everyone regardless of what denomination they claim, provided that faith is placed only in the Christ of the bible and not one made up to conform to the world

I was taken away from my parents very young and raised in more foster homes than I can remember. Some fosters would give you back to the state for the dumbest reasons but I EARNED this return lol.... I was 9yo and my newest fosters were hardcore thumpers. We attended church on Wednesday night, Saturday night and Sunday morning. ABSOLUTELY HATED IT! Anywho...my fosters were all geeked out because some famous pastor was visiting their church and doing a "laying on of hands" to heal people and crap. They made me go up on the stage and stand in line facing the crowd. The pastor was asking kids questions and then touching them on the forehead and every single kid fell backwards and started flopping like fish. Until he got to me. He asked me what I wanted to fix and I said I just wanted to be adopted and he started speaking in tongues and smacked me in the head. I didn't fall down and start flopping which pissed off the fosters and the pastor. So what did that POS do? He f*cking pushed me, a 9yo kid! They had to pull me off of him, lol. My fosters got rid of me a few days later.
As a kid I knew something was wrong when someone claimed to be holy man speaking for the Lord and at the same time told me how to think and what to think. And at the same time told me my personality was being driven by the devil for correcting or questioning that.

Joshua killed a leviathan, Daniel and some other kids walked around inside of a burning furnace, pigs shouldn't be eaten cause of a cloved foot. A naked women learned what naked means from a snake with legs telling her to eat a fruit (not an apple btw). It actually tells you to be wary of being led astray by such individuals. I.e, false prophets, which the Jewish consider Jesus to be btw (that or a prophet, but not the messiah).
And they were demanding that I "set up" their order a certain way.

fun story about the joel olsteen story: Jim McIngvale, aka, mattress mack, is a local furniture store owner who is a local hero around here in houston. when harvey rolled through and joel didn't open his church, ol' mattress mack opened up his massive store and allowed it to be used as a shelter during the worst of the hurricane. needless to say, if we didn't already love him before this, we love him even more now.

The kingdom of God is similar to what this world wants, a place where people with excess give to people in want, where the rich use their money to help the poor, where those with extra clothes dress those without. That is what Jesus calls us to do.
And he tells us to reach out to those heading to hell and show them the glorious light of the gospel. Because what would it profit a man if he gains the whole world, but loses his own soul.

Mattress Mack has repeatedly opened his doors for people in need in Houston, TX. He's opened doors at his showrooms and warehouses going back all the way to Hurricane Katrina. This is wild. My catholic church doesn’t even ask for money directly, they tell us that if for any reason we feel uncomfortable giving them money then we can give to charities and it counts as tithing.
why is the Catholic Church telling you what to do with your money?

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
He probably doesn’t actually think that, he probably just says that to keep the wool ove his churches eyes
In the behind the scenes of the movie “Prince of Darkness” Alice Cooper was talking about how he’s a Christian and that he believes that the devil exists. I’m paraphrasing but I think he says:
“Want proof of evil? Look at televangelists man, they have the biggest stage to represent Christianity and any time they mess up they make a mockery of the entire religion.”
That's very true
In all honesty, I be so down to hear Alice do a sermon if he were willing to do it. Man sounds like he could give a good one that doesn't beat around the bush.
@24:26 this is the type of stuff that Hunter and his team provides that just elevates the comedy in his video and I can’t appreciate it enough
He should cover the movie as well(even though it SUCKED)

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
But hey, that’s just from the Bible.

Sounds identical to scientology doesn't it?
Yeah I mean him and a lot of those people think they they are actual prophets or apostles with the power to make prophecy, heal the sick, speak in tongues and interpret it. Some of those guys even make more outlandish claims like being able to resurrect the dead or walk on water. Of course they never actually succeed in doing any of that but they say they can

Truly a bastardization of quite literally all that is holy.
@@ithinkweregoingtoneedabigg8525 depends. I think American Christianity is the worst offender, but I’ve been to plenty of churches here in my home state that are legit. The bad apples usually get the most rep though, for obvious reasons.
The demon we call Kenneth Copeland has so many souls unto his grip that his human façade is almost giving his true nature up.
As a member of a small church in a small town in OK, these people make me so sad. Truly greed and pride have taken the place of God in their hearts.
Ah, yes. The double grift of religion and eternal racial victimization.
Well, pretty sure women aren't allowed to be pastors according to the Bible.
1Timothy 2:11-12
A woman should learn in quietness and full submission.
I'd rank the central tenant about selling your possessions and giving away your wealth to the poor above the statement that women can't preach because the former is from the New Testament, which is the operating system most pastors claim to be running their megachurches on.
What’s sad is there’s churches like this to smaller scales in just about every small town in America. Especially the south. The preachers house will be unnecessarily large and they always claim to have gotten their money some other way
Its also completely disrespectful to actual religous institutions

Christianity is faith in Christ. It is the only belief system that teaches salvation is a gift given through faith, not works.
The institutional church is a mockery of what Christ intended when he told us not to forsake gathering together in worship.
