That 6.4 sings!! They all sound amazing but for my taste I liked the mid-muffler delete while keeping the rear resonators (or whatever we call them now). I imagine this setup has the least drone too. Anyone come back to you guys about drone?
I own a Daytona 392 with mid delete and factory resonators it’s perfect no drone and it’s loud when you want it to be. Loud cold starts tho. I like it.
@@ayodrew5558 nope from my experience on my challenger scat in my opinion when I removed the rears it wasn’t as loud to me as the mids with the rears still on but I did notice ones I took off the tears it had no hesitation when I hit the gas it moved faster
3rd was my favorite, I have number 2 on my R/T and sounds about the same. Just increased my tips to 4 in, changed the sound to be deeper. But the 3rd has that deep sound.
I like loud pipes, but the 1st 2 were as you said, too raspy. It takes away from the growl. It's like someone trying to scream, but their voice cracks. The racing bullets are the best sound (of these 3 choices), and it also offers some great crackling. I didnt hear as much in the first 2. But that's my thought on it.
@@markb3079 all the crackling you hear with the race bullets are from the engine being cold. i have the race bullets on my scat pack. very few exhaust pops at operating temps. only louder on the startups. after the car warms up, it sounds stock at idle. louder when you floor it though.
At that point, remove the stock exhaust completely so you're not hacking it up. Have 3" duals run all the way back into some round Magnaflows at the very back. Or you can buy a header-back system, pretty sure you can get a Hooker Blackheart system which is their headers and a full exhaust with no cats.
I wonder what #3 would sound like with a second set of race bullets where the rear resonators are...or a set of vibrants...with a MFER-1 active exhaust delete

Btw it can lower ur horse power too because with muffler or resonator or the cat it don’t have a place to place the air in it then bring it out it immediately pushes the air out and that’s bad for the engine cuz it can’t push that much air per second

The muffler/resonator combo on these cars is actually already a straight-through setup...so there is no change in performance in removing them, just sound and drone changes. Now if they weren't straight through already, then the issues you're describing could come up.

Looks like just the mids were replaced. I've seen the same setup before with the Dynos in place of the mid mufflers but the rest of the pipes were untouched. Definitely the best sounding setup I've heard on the Scats.
