Justin G. It is not needed Tune wise. I recently removed my resonators just a few days ago. It sounds even deeper. I personally do not hear the DRONE people talk about. Sound wise it’s perfect. I have also put HR Sport Sports which lowered the car. 💯

I think with the mid mufflers is better. With the mid mufflers deleted it doesn't have tht Mopar sound anymore, and it doesn't have a nice aftermarket exhaust sound either, it's like kinda sloppy. I mean it's louder but not sexier.
These things with a muffler delete are LOUD. when you are about 10-20 feet away, it hurts your ears. but Dodge did a good job with noise insulation, because inside, it sounds stock. If the windows are up, you basically won't here anything different. P.S Riley nice car!

Sounds good, you will have to let us know if it gave you anymore power, some more getty up when you punch it, or did it hurt,, you will maybe notice after a week or so,, and if you like it louder, i have seen where some will decide to put it back,, maybe i will try it if you end up really liking it.
NO drone??? I think you're choosing not to hear it. My 392 300 has stock exhaust and when I hold the valves open and crack the back windows it drones like crazy! Esp with 4cyl mode active. Are your valves holding back all the drone??
Ryley I'm a coyote guy but between you and my buddy Brandon I'm wanting a scatpack or a daytona now. I'm stuck in between a rock and a hard place. My buddy Brandon works at Chrysler and has found the exact scat pack I want. B5 Blue with a sunroof, the Alcantara Suede and leather interior and the upgraded audio package. It's located just outside of Chicago which isn't far from me in Detroit (about 4 hours and 45 mins away). I'm debating on selling my Mustang to get into either the Scatpack or waiting on the Daytona. If I don't buy the Scatpack I probably won't find any more B5 blues around, but Chrysler hasn't released their color palette yet for the Daytonas. I'm kind of in a jam here trying to figure out what to do. Anyways, for a mustang guy I'm a big fan of yours. keep up your videos. I'd love to see a part 2 video of your exhaust. I'd love to see an outside rolling video of your exhaust from a chase car. hearing it and seeing it from the outside, not just it passing by. Keep up the good work! I love your videos.

+mmmm I took the badge off for a couple of days to use stronger tape and add a slight bend to it, that way it fits more flush with the panel. After I got the mufflers cut off I washed my car and put it back on, it can be seen in all of the clips after the muffler shop visit! I also got my plates in that day so I put them on before I washed the car. I accomplished a lot yesterday, haha!
I'm contemplating removing my mid mudffers on my 2019 S cat and replacing it with Dynol Max racing bullets mufflers want to increase the sound ... but don't want it super loud will this be a nice alternative

+WeKnowTheTruth2012 I'm not 100% sure on Cali laws but it should be fine since your catalytic converters are what does the work in order for you to pass smog test and stuff. Maybe some others will chime in!
You should have put in some kind of muffler, usually putting in straight pipes leads to lower horsepower due to a lack of pressure coming from the exhaust. Hopefully it didn't, you'll just have to see.
+Nickmjones17 Yes, but as it is now he will lose some horsepower. There are many fairly cheap mods to fix that issue, as you stated, hopefully he does those to keep that Scat Pack name true to it's definition.
+thre89 I still have cats and resonators so my back pressure shouldn't be hurt at all. I haven't noticed any difference in power. I also saw a dyno sheet of 430whp of a SP Charger with a muffler delete as his only mod so I don't think the power loss myth is true with this car/setup.
I have the 2016 Charger Scat Pack with 6.4l. I really liked the sound when I did my Mid-Muffler Delete. However, after 6 days the location that removed the mufflers still had my mufflers and I had them put back on. It sounded awesome, but as RP Productions mentions it is VERY Loud and I had a severe drone when traveling between 60 to 69 mph when the Eco-mode (4 cylinder) came on. Sounded as though the car was falling apart. The only advise I would give is really think twice before doing this. Total cost of removing and replacing cost me approx. $250.00.
Unfortunately, the drone is at that speed due to traveling to and from work on the interstate and here in SC we have some of the most ignorant drivers who drive the speed limit in the fast lane and will not yield to faster traffic by moving to the right. My Scat Pack has the 8 speed automatic and kicking it out of eco-mode is when my drone shows up
+Grant H They used 3 inch pipe! I heard from my buddy (HTX SCAT) that he read on the Charger forums somewhere that said the 3 inch pipe will sound slightly better and is the best way to go.

I must admit, the current fascination with muffler deletes on an already "active" exhaust system just confounds me. My 2015 Charger SRT 392 ALREADY sounds obnoxiously loud under full acceleration, which I practice at least half a dozen times a day religiously, with no exhaust mods whatsoever. The 2015/16 Charger/Challenger SRT 392/Hellcats are ALREADY remarkable cars with no mods whatsoever! Which leaves me to wonder what all the rest of these knuckleheads are thinking in the first place.

Go to a muffler shop and tell them you want your mid mufflers deleted. You can either replace it with straight pipe or add a flowmaster/magnaflow muffler in place of the old mufflers.
Only your exhaust warranty. Meaning if the exhaust pipes somehow have any issues they will not be covered by Dodge since they have had work done to them. All other Warranty's remain.
I bought a Scatpack 2015 with 6 speed manual. It is a great car, should I delete the mid mufflers? What else would you guys recommend. It has a lot of power for $6k I bought it for. I have a question about this I have a 2016 charger r/t with this exhaust and i thought it would be louder then what it is. So do I need to take off me resonators and if so how is it in the car at cruising speeds. And are resonators and mid mufflers the same thing
+BMW BMW You will pass emissions no problem. I think you can get away with the "not having muffler" thing since you still have resonators but I guess it would depend on the shop.

When you have your dash display on the Fuel Economy mode, I see a digital speedometer directly above it. How do you get a speedometer to show up there? Mine just says "Fuel Economy", or whatever mode I've chosen. Thanks!
It's somewhere on the options screen on the dash! I think it says "top" or something and you can customize the entire dash layout! Kinda hard to explain without looking at my car right now!

I love the fact you can see the car shake a bit when you Rev it. so badass, my cummins does it too but it's a little more pronounced
i really like the deep growling sound the exhaust makes when you shift the car into reverse. and dont get me started on the crackling popping noises

at .59 were is the Powered by SRT Badge? you also got dealer plate on it when you bought the car at time 1.12 you have Texas plates on it mystery.

I'm very surprised you had drone between 60-69! The only times I've noticed any drone is between 81-84mph but other than that it sounds great!

Is it illegal to have your car straight piped/mufflers deleted?
It's cost 150$ to get the straight pipes and the mechanic to add it?

I have a question about this I have a 2016 charger r/t with this exhaust and i thought it would be louder then what it is. So do I need to take off me resonators and if so how is it in the car at cruising speeds. And are resonators and mid mufflers the same thing

+wsy480 Yes the mid mufflers got taken out and the resonators at the rear are still in place.
so does this still pass inspection in the state of texas because i want to do this to my charger but i heard you wont pass inspection here in texas
+BMW BMW You will pass emissions no problem. I think you can get away with the "not having muffler" thing since you still have resonators but I guess it would depend on the shop.

Yes you will although the resonator delete may give you a lot of drone at cruising speeds. I'm not too sure since I've never heard it in person.

When you have your dash display on the Fuel Economy mode, I see a digital speedometer directly above it. How do you get a speedometer to show up there? Mine just says "Fuel Economy", or whatever mode I've chosen. Thanks!
It's somewhere on the options screen on the dash! I think it says "top" or something and you can customize the entire dash layout! Kinda hard to explain without looking at my car right now!
