I didn't like the new Titan at first, but this one is pretty nice. I like what they've done, it's up to date without being too much. Nissan has definitely come a long way from the D21 hardbody!
What other reviewer would put a correction in his video when he makes a mistake? Even though a majority of the people watching wouldn't even notice... That is true dedication to a good product. Mad respect

I got to check one of these out in person a while ago, and these are SERIOUSLY big trucks. They actually live up to their name, now.
this truck is very capable. nissan luxury mixed with the legendary cummins brand. this a great investment. guaranteed you can get 300,000 miles plus on this engine.
You sure because a lot of them don’t last 150k where did you find that out?

The same people talking shit about this truck were the same ones crying for more diesels on the market. Who cares if its Japanese owned. Its built in USA. Ford , Ram and GM trucks are for the most part are built in Mexico and Canada , the irony.
Mike Hawk I don’t think they’d have a problem with it if it wasn’t an f-150 with a Cummins. The people that need diesels for towing also have to drive for miles to get to a dealer and usually there’s only 1 or 2. I doubt there’d be a Nissan dealer out in the country
I traded my Duramax in for a 2016 Platinum Reserve. Got tired of the recalls.

Right away, I have to thank you for uploading this Kyle! I'm a big fan of the Nissan brand and couldn't really check it out at the Autoshow here in Toronto a couple months ago due to it being flooded with people. These videos are always appreciated and I can't thank you enough for the inside look on all the cars!
IMO I think this titan is going to be pretty tough to sell in the truck market, to start it will cost you $73,321 for that truck with the platinum reserve package, This titan can tow up to 12,000 pounds, it to me is basically a heavy half ton that has a cummins shoved into it to make it seem like it can keep up with the domestics. Now to compare the other 3. A brand new 2016 ford f350 crewcab platinum 4x4 with the powerstroke is $75,000 and some change, f350 can tow up to 31,200 with goose-neck towing. Chevy 3500 duramax crew 4x4 high country is $67,540 can tow up to 23,000 pounds. Dodge cummins 3500 crew 4x4 Laramie limited is $85,390 can tow up to 31,210. Just saying for the price of that titan you could buy a one ton with more than 2x the towing for the same or less price depending on region. (Those prices are based on the Canadian dealership websites)

Gerb It yes got mine for 49K in Canada. They have great sales and blow outs on these trucks! Just got to look as you mention. How's yours treating you lately watched a few of your videos did you ever get the block heater. Mine came with it and plugged in fires up nice and easy.
longboardguy: If you don't mind me asking where in Canada did you buy this truck,what province? I'm in Toronto Ontario and I've seen this for $73K+. Yes I realize that you can find a bargain if you know where to look. The price you paid really seems to be a good bargain considering you're in Canada. Way to go sir!

It's very sad when these trucks have been out in dealerships for about 2-3 months and I still haven't seen one on the road!
They also made a light duty model it is very similar plus that has the best truck warranty

Very detailed review. The only suggestion that I can make is a 0-60 and 60-0 run, with your impressions of the acceleration and braking performance.

When he revved that engine I about cried it's so sad that diesels are loosing their trade mark noise and now it just sounds like a fan give me a old 5.9 12v or 7.3 and I'll show you all what a real truck is

I don't think a lot of people are aware that they build these trucks in Mississippi. If Nissan would acknowledge that their trucks are made in America, then it could make the Titans a little more appreciated.

Hey kyle please make a review of the 2016 lexus lx 570!
My uncle is looking to buy one of these trucks, I went to the dealer with him. In terms of size on the road, it felt about the same as an 2011 F250 Diesel (only 3/4 ton I can compare it with), however it was as smooth as a 1/2 ton in terms of suspension. Now I havn't driven the Silverado 2500 HD, but people have said that is the smoothest riding 3/4 ton. I also know a lot of people are getting dealer incentives on the 2500hd making it cheaper than the XD, while providing more power and capability. If its true that the suspension is soft on the Silverado HD, I think that would be the better buy.
How is the truck today?

Iu think about it, the truck Is an offspring between all the 3 competitors: body looks like a Chevy, front end looks like a ram crossed with an f150, rear looks like a silverado and f150
Americans are afraid of a non american truck being better than big names like Ford/chevy/Dodge. This truck is actually pretty nice and the new design was definitely needed to keep the titan going.

torque's not about everything its about laying that power output from driveline impedence to pavement efficiently & evenly than traction managment;
included in this narrative though ignition spool up to rpm idle range has very refined NVH it could use a more truck muffled to *powee dense sound to it.
turbo diesel Cummins has reference to reason though its a full size refined pickup
