International A140 Brush Truck First Start Up in 20 Plus Years

Minnesota Fire Engine Club Volunteers have spent the last few weeks working on the 1959 International Harvester A140 Fire Brush Truck. On the weekend volunteers tried the first start up in 20 years. Cool truck. Is the distributor suppose to rotate like that? Aren't only the internals suppose to move when it advances. If its loose that might not be helping running issues. I've never seen the entire thing rotate, maybe I'm wrong.

@@FTAfiretrucks with this style distributor the entire thing will rotate as vacuum comes and goes. A lot of the newer style distributors from the 70s on have weights that adjust the timing as the motor spins faster or slows down.
