This was a great finale for the first story of WW. Music really sets the tone for any confrontation and this was 100% hit the spot for me!

This fight already reminds me of fighting Primal Projection in PGR, and it's only the first final boss?! I have no words except I can't wait to get to do this fight myself!! I'm slowly progressing but I don't tend to play games for that long per session so it'll be a while until I can meet this boss
idk but i think most of dreamless moveset looked like pterygota queen you know with some flavor of primal projection during phase 2
@@aratabhist I personally don't really see pterygota queen except for the scythe (and even the scythe attacks isn't that similar imo), how the fight goes mostly reminds me of how primal projection fight feels like, but to each their own

@@Carsu12 yeah, but the person I replied to said that the *movesets* are similar which I don't personally see. But you're right that they look visually pretty similar, just not the movesets which resembles Primal Projection more (which is the entire thing I'm talking about lemao, I didn't talk about the visuals in either my comment or reply)

It's like a deadly dance. Haven't reached this boss yet, but I can clearly see that it will be very difficult. I still haven't learned how to properly dodge attacks and rely on the healer all the time 😅
Is there the slightest chance that music from the main quest will be posted? I really enjoyed the OST from the library's secret data vault. And the secret vault itself is incredibly beautiful!

there are two reasons. First: it's a generic boss theme. Second: The boss is newborn, from the will of war and does not have a perfect conscience like us

Nahhhh the majority of music in wuwa is nowhere near vanguard greatness, I need the inhouse studio to step up… zero trance bangers, not even atmospheric dnb or atmospheric edm like PGR does…m really disappointed cause usually kurogames lets vanguard cook but they are nearly nowhere to be found tbh.

I love the motif to the CBT2 trailer's music in this boss theme.
The song of war, it really fits the boss.
I wish Marco would listen to this, but he made his judgment before getting to this part. Not to mention, I didn't see him reacting to the character PV songs, I still like his content tho.
The music in the game is still pretty nerfed, but still has some good music like the Aix theme for the Aix side quest, Dim Forest, Crownless, etc.

@@arghahimel816 can you hear the crack sounds in the Dreamless ost? It's neat. It reflects the fact that Dreamless is kinda like a puppet of the Threnodian in that purple moon.
music aside, but the movement of character is so fluid and natural - Im impressed. Level above genshin. Moreover, it's probably the first time (in games overall) where character can efficiently move/run back.
It's small step back for wuwa but big step forward for games industry XD
We must thanking Kuro for using unreal engine and utilize blend space so well.

I don’t think there’s any music by Vanguard Sound in this game…. It’s a big shame, their music is basically just as good as other premium gacha ost like Genshin, gbf, in my subjective opinion, just towards edm rather than classical/world music

The soundtrack in general needs a lot of improvement. Honestly expected more based on bangers they put in PGR
I think its more about the volume/the mixer, they need to adjust it and it will hit way better
Man wuwa ost is dissapointing tbh. Punishing Gray Raven OST is so NICE and hype 🔥 ..hope wuwa will work with Vanguard soon.

Ideally kuro in-house music team should focus on open world soundtrack and let vanguard cook for boss ost tbh
@@kiuhh1118 Yeah I think Kuro Studios can do regular overworld OST's and the PV OST'S(Yes KS does the PV OST's), I don't think they're suited for Boss OST's rn
Tastes are subjective but I respectfully disagree. Not that the ost sounds bad to you, but that it's disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Vanguard any time, of any day. But in terms of immersing the player as they explore and fight enemies/bosses? I think Kuro did an alright job for their first try.

@@deeptobhattacharyya3249 I guess but people now also have disposable income unlike during Covid and the western audience isn’t so sceptical towards the anime gatcha scene. Not saying that either is better or worse but there’s some nuance in both cases.
To be honest, it was as lazy and sloppy as possible.
They could have composed a track with cool vocals for a boss like that, instead they just used not-so-good music from login screen CBT2.

not everyone played the cbt. millions of people didnt. i was very pleased with it for this fight. it's not objectively bad. some of the other tracks might be but not this one.

To elaborate, while boss music is disappointing, the exploration music and battle music are pretty good imo. Getting those post-apo Fallout vibes from exploration to be more specific
