Btw, I have a 2014 Mustang GT also . I know I will be cursed for having the auto but i have to admit the 6R80 auto with a spot on tune is magic. Unless you are that hardcore and have to have a stick the auto is quite impressive.
The auto are pretty damn good now a days the shift positions almost feel manual now but yeah a tune adjusting even more is amazing I have 11
Question on the carbon drive shaft. I read in some forums that carbon DS is not good for daily driving. As they could shatter if they have a neck in them or damaged.

I just wanted to say, I know I won't win the giveaway but I still find myself watching this video every day ever since the thread was posted on the f150 forums announcing this giveaway. Obviously have to keep the Mustang for myself, but my dad deserves the raptor. He's done so much for me and is the reason I currently own a Mustang. Would love to see the smile on his face when I tell him he will own a Ford raptor and race trailer. It would change his life forever

Without a doubt the dyno run lol. the combination of the new supercharger, long tubes, clutch, carbon fiber drive shaft, beefed up axels, and not to mention fuel injectors. Yall have literally taken the best of everything and put it in one car making amazing power. This was just awesome to watch lol

Awesome build!! Always love seeing headers, and full exhaust installed, when someone adds a blower! Not just for the added power.. I could be wrong, but I honestly feel like it’s bad for the motor, to add a blower with the restrictive Factory exhaust! I feel like a free-flowing exhaust is going to keep cylinder head temperatures down more.

Are the internals not getting beefed? the pistons will will melt if there not forged
These guys know what they're doing and wouldn't do this to the car if it was just going to blow up. The stock coyote engines can easily handle 900 at the crank and since the 2015s came out they've made almost all the internals forged.

Not true. You might be able to get a few runs in but even this setup will melt pistons and connecting rods if you don't keep it chill. 900hp will destroy the engine and probably won't do the transmission any favors either.

The extra output was achieved via improved head flow (which Ford was able to accomplish through casting rather than expensive machining), larger valves with increased (Boss 302-spec) lift, stiffer valve springs, the Boss’s forged connecting rods, and some aesthetically pleasing tubular headers. The compression ratio remains 11.0:1, and an oil cooler is now standard.
+jlcurtis94 you're right about the connecting rods, the recommendation I received was above 900 get rid of them and go with Oliver or Calli rods, didnt realize thy came forged though. The crank is forged too, but it's steel not aluminum so with that much power you're probably still looking at swapping that
Holy shit! You are the only TH-camr that knows how good a carbon fiber driveshaft is!! There's only a couple of things I would do to it. I would give it Z23 brakes, a Oddssey 31 battery, a trinitydiablo t-1000 performance chip, torque converter, blistein shocks, hellwigg turning system, 12 speed transmission, and a piston degenerater so when your not using all that power you could put it on six cylinders or four to get better mpg.

When it comes to Mustangs, 2004 down will always be the best years for me in my opinion, but I have to admit that mustang looks CLEAN. Good job.

I have a 2007 v6 mustang myself, and I take care of it nicely but I've kept it stock. So this mustang would be an incredible upgrade and I'd be honored to be the one who gets his hands on. I've been a Ford Mustang fan since the day I was born and I would have no problem dying in a mustang like this while having the most fun in my life.

Drag car with a stick? An odd choice in 2016. In the contest rules it states the winner is responsible for procurement costs, is that the shipping cost from AM to the winner's home?

This is awesome. Have you guys considered upgrading the brakes at all? I doubt the stock ones will last given the speeds you'll reach with 800+ HP! I'd recommend just doing some big upgraded rotors, pads, fluid, brake lines and the stock Brembo caliper should be better able to cope. Otherwise for more money you can always go full Wilwoods all around!
+Noah B I guess we focused pretty hard on the 0-60 and not the 60-0 huh? Good news is that the car has some pretty beefy factory brakes and they'll take some abuse. It would be pretty easy to throw some stainless lines, fluid, pads and rotors, as you recommended, to give it a boost in braking power. -Chris

Question for anyone who might know? Blower motors used to push low end gaskets out “oil leak” have they solved the problem in these new motors.

u don't pay taxes because it's a gift
You most certainly do pay taxes and it generally works out to about 30% of the prize value which they list at ~$100,000.
In California, if it's a gift, then you sign a Statement of Facts (if it gets approved, then you should only pay at most around 1000 dollars in DMV fees because the taxes will be waviered. The tax for just one of the cars is around 5000 bucks), pay the transfer fees (15 dollars), 50 - 200 dollars for smog checks, etc.

I’ve got a 2015 GT 50th anniversary in Wimbledon white.
I love the mods but cause it’s a collection car I’m only going bolt on mods.
I’ve done a air raid and a MBRP street exhaust, oil sperator.
What’s your recommendations to go forward? I want just bolt on so I can take it back to factory for collectors when I’m done.
