Seven years of groundbreaking television have come to an end. Breaking bad and Better Call Saul are my favorite two shows, and to me these shows are unbeatable. Both shows were peak fiction on every level. The writing, acting, cinematography, character development, and pacing were all incredible. I am really going to miss the Breaking Bad universe.
Hope you enjoy my work. I will upload more BCS, BrBa related edits so stay tuned. Next video could be Gustavo Fring.

"The name's McGill. I'm James McGill."
Such a cool line. Whole time I thought Saul was just playing another con in that federal court, but really he was coming clean.
This scene reminds me that darth vader turn to anakin before his death
ei James eu quero uma salada de fruta
That line almost sounds like James Bond.
He was just proving that he could if he wanted to. He chose to take the punishment.
It's no accident that the lead prosecutor looks and sounds like a sheriff from a wild west movie. It's as if Saul Goodman walked into a pistols-at-dawn duel and purposefully didn't draw his pistol.
Saul Goodman died. So that Kim Wexler could live.
That final confession is so brilliant from a character and storytelling level.
Jimmy is confessing and Saul is bragging. "Walter White could never have done it without me" is the sketchy lawyer bragging about his most high profile client and how he was indispensable, and the flawed man admitting all the wrong he's done. Brilliant television that I don't think will be rivalled for a long time
Also after jimmy’s probation, he was asked about his plans and he said emphatically that he’d become the “best goddamn lawyer and everyone’s gonna know about [him]” so imagine when he admits to concealing all the crimes of an international most wanted like heisenberg, he really does prove (but also confess) that he was one hell of a lawyer to pull it off
Bravo, Vince
top 2 show standing side by side with its predecessor
Disappointing ending.
@@dog5653l felt the same way. But everyone is just saying how “brilliant” it was. We seem to be in the minority. No one would ever give up a 7 year sentence for 86 years. No one.
Still can't believe it's over... But everything ended so perfectly.
He had 7 years and got it up to 80+ years, great.
No it didn’t
@@MrCoolBossMan-cum But now he's happy, so is Kim.
@@finxl2913 Yeah it did. Everybody's arcs were wrapped perfectly and the way they leave Jimmy & Kim is amazing too.
@@MrCoolBossMan-cum him getting 7 years wouldn't have been a perfect ending. Those 7 years would be too long for him because he would still be a stranger in Kim's eyes.
You almost wanted him to get away just cause of how charismatic he is but he absolutely deserved getting caught and the last episode really made you realize just how much bad and harm he caused directly and indirectly to everyone around him.
Yeah, but he eventually pulled his shit together and kinda redeemed himself.
I mean Jimmy.

Also tragic
"Fact is. Walter White couldnt have done it without me." Saul couldnt forget when Walter said that he is the one who calls the shots, but in reality we all knew that Saul was the one who does... What an awesome way to end it all. Masterpiece.
Jimmy was basically shitting on Walter's legacy because everyone in Alberquerque believed that Walt accomplished everything on his own, but he only succeeded because Jimmy brought him into the larger game and kept him out of jail. Kind of a revenge against Walt.
I can imagine Walt screaming in anger while burining in hell after hearing this.

Never in my life have I felt this empty with a show ending. What breaks my heart the most is that no other show will ever be on the level of either this one or Breaking Bad. All I can say is thank you to everyone who helped create this universe that’s truly my favorite piece of media ever.

The part where "Something Stupid" stops after Howard gets shot... CHILLS, man, chills.
Howard's murder was the turning point in their life and you illustrated that beautifully in the video. Great job man.
The Chuck speech along with the shots of the victims of Saul's partners at 3:18 gives me chills. Despite being a huge asshole, Chuck was right. A lot of people got hurt because of Jimmy.
What an amazing show.
I think something a lot of people don't realize is "slipping jimmy" WAS another persona of james, just because we the viewers started at that phase doesn't mean it was the start. It really makes you understand Chuck more, why he didn't say james was at fault, it was slippin jimmy, just us as viewers didn't understand how much it meant, especially since to us we had only seen Chuck as an antagonist.
the ironic part is CHUCK WAS THE BIGGEST PART OF WHY JIMMY BECOME LIKE THAT
that’s why his biggest regret is chuck, their unresolved relationship
@xyzxxx33
Chucks flaw definitely is his idealism for the law when really law is just another theater of politics and ultimately in politics idealists always lose out to those who take a realpolitic approach and play the game in order to justify an end goal.
Someone with Jimmy/Saul's skill would become a politician IRL not a lawyer. Instead of getting drug dealers off in court he could be sitting in the governor's chair taking bribes from the cartel and end up worth hundreds of millions.
No the the truth is Jimmy wasn’t perfect, a polar opposite of his brother. Chuck was a man that played by rules, while Jimmy played over line and on the other side. At times he was jealous of jimmy because how people treated them differently and felt slightly inferior to him. Despite that Jimmy wanted to be better after his last stint in jail and really strived to become better feeling encouraged by Chuck. Although some tendencies did slip at times with Jimmy he wasn’t all bad until Chuck had revealed that he had purposely held him back. And that’s because deep down Chuck was defending the only thing in life he felt he was better at than Jimmy…which is being a lawyer. Though it’s true what he said that Jimmy would get people hurt, but I think even Jimmy partially knew he was hiding behind that fact just to give him an excuse to purposefully hold him back when he admitted his true feelings. This cause Jimmy to become worse and sent him even further down a spiral
@@EON314 Yep, they are both very flawed characters. Chuck is a very jealous and bitter person, it's up for interpretation if what Chuck did bolstered Jimmy's behaviour but in my opinion he definitely did.
I think Jimmy would've always had a knack for bending the rules, but Chuck truly pushed him to his worst to a point where he ignored all of his worst impulses and stopped caring.
it's amazing how right Chuck was about Saul. and maybe if he aproached it better, Jimmy wouldn't turned out like he did. But in the end he came clean, not because of pride, like Walter would, but regret. it was a damn fine show
Chuck wasn't right. Jimmy *did* change. All Chuck did was hurt him while he was already down and convince Jimmy he couldn't change either, so he didn't even bother trying.
Chuck was only right because he actively ensured he would be right lol. Jimmy had an addiction, Chuck knew that, of course Chuck said Jimmy wouldn't change, he wouldn't let him to.
@@RaptorJesus lol the first episode he already started doing Slippin Jimmy shit unprovoked by Chuck. How long are you guys gonna keep on defending an impulsive criminal just because he's charismatic
Chuck may be right be he did everything in his power to prove himself right, going so far to prevent Jimmy from being a responsible lawyer at every turn.
@@phlyphenix1601 cry
Love that the 2nd song finally gets the credit it deserves. It plays when Gus is getting out of his car before entering the nursing home for Hector before he gets blown up, but it doesn't get to the lyrics. Such a good scene and song, despite how short the scene is and for how little the song plays
This song was also used in the series 'Dark'
This song has been popular for years. Has been used in many projects, and also has millions of views- for example on spotify 56 millions, and on youtube 24 millions.
'' "Goodbye" featuring Soap&Skin was used in a climactic scene in the Season 4 finale of Breaking Bad, the intro for the 2017 Netflix series Dark, the episode "Broken Home" in Nikita, the 2014 Tatort episode "Kaltstart," and in the 2014 Italian biopic Leopardi. It also appeared in the French trailer of Rust and Bone, the trailer of Prisoners (2013), a 2014 theatrical trailer for The Drop, the first released trailer for Taken 3 and the official series 1-3 recap of BBC One show Luther.''
Dark made that song suuuuper popular.
@@swarupbanerjee1951 this song fit so perfect to dark and gilliganverse
when it played in bb s4 ending i was astonished how good it is and how well it fits
I’ve honestly never seen a better crafted story in my entire life. Better Call Saul will forever be a 10/10 for me.
"Goodbye" is such a fitting song for this universe. I remember when Breaking Bad ended there were so many edits using the song. Great video!
Yeah, I know it because it's Dark's intro
It also plays in Face Off when Gus enters Casa Tranquila for the last time
@Vari_Ares_YTP Yea 2 of my top 3 shows (I am cheating and combining BCS and BrBa lol) both have the song.
@Vari_Ares_YTP dark is on the same level as bb and bcs
they used it in the season trailer
The way it all came crashing down... I know he deserved it, and I know it was the only ending that made sense, but still a part of me wished he got away with it all.
I can't believe the saga of Walter White is finally over, and I can't believe it ended with Saul Goodman doing the finger guns, and I can't believe that turned out to be the perfect way to end it.
He did a lot of bad things, but all the way we kept hoping somehow that he would fix himself and be a decent regular lawyer together with Kim. That is the tragedy of Jimmy McGill. He has all these moment where he start doing the right things for the right reasons only to later slip back into bad habits. One step forward and two steps back. Over and over again.
That was what I was rooting for: For Jimmy to save his own soul, not to get away with bad things. I guess he did in the end but it was kind of too late.
Kinda wish she'd returned the finger gun 🥲
There is a way another series could be made, the money that Jack stole is still out there, waiting to corrupt another poor soul.
What i dislike is the Time Machine Book in the Chuck Flashback implying the Day Jimmy would have gone too was the day right before the show started and maybe take a step towards Chuck to make this entire tragedy not comming to life.
I felt Chuck treated Jimmy like shit...he had done it always, and even denied his mothers last words out of pure egoism and envy. When he said Jimmy as a Lawyer was like a Chimp with a Gun he meant it and he was a lawyer on that day for quite some time.
All Jimmy had done for Chuck, just because he looked up to him and loved his brother, yet the conclusion would be to crawl in the dust before mighty chuck just ONCE MORE? No, sorry, that might be poetic, but that is unbearable for me and leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.
"It's all good, man" - his repression of everything and acting like it's Saul good.. when it's not and he finally confronts it at the end.
This is one of those few stories that seemed all over the place (in a good way) from the start and only took a clear shape when it reached its final chapters and the end result was a masterpiece.
Everything. Absolutely everything found it’s place.
years after my parents divorced... over a decade later in fact... i happened to watch this show and separately show it to both my parents. I thus watched it three distinct times, the first by myself, the next with my dad, and the last with my mom. it is all three of our favorite shows to this day years later. that is something special. theres not much the two of them agree upon, and yet this show is such a masterpiece it unbeknownst to them, unites us all.
Using this song is especially fitting, a stroke of genius I would say. Not only is it a callback to when it was used in Breaking Bad, but the song was also used as the theme for the series Dark, which uses te plot device of time travel to explore cycles of trauma, anguish and regret, just like the last episode of Better Call Saul did. Amazing.
Beautiful tribute. The greatest show of all time (Breaking Bad) got surpassed by the new greatest show of all time (Better Call Saul) I’m in tears and I’m gonna need time to process the end.

I like how you stop the music when Howard dies, Kim and Jimmy's relationship was all fun and games to them, but it was actually leaving a trail of destruction behind and once they realised, it was far too late.
MAN IM FUCKING DYING AT 1:52 WHEN HOWARD FELL, I GOT THE WINDOWS NOTIFICATION SOUND AS HE HIT HIS HEAD, IT WAS PERFECTLY TIMED

This is literally one of the best BCS Edits I've seen. Something Stupid playing in the background is perfect.
Amazing edit. Loved when the Breaking Bad scenes play out as Jimmy is making his confessions.
I think this is the best edit I've ever seen. Thank you

God this show was so full of depth. It's like every pause and every movement is insanely calculated.
Even great shows aren't on this level, often
This is the greatest back to back ending of 2 series within the same universe of all time. Bravo Peter / Vince for 14 great years of solid story telling on AMC
I like how you put in the first time Saul says “Better Call Saul!” in Breaking Bad and then the last time he says in in BCS.
That’s the kind of smart stuff that makes me moist.
Perfect edit, beautifully put together. A fitting tribute for an outstanding show
This masterpiece never won an Emmy, what a sick joke
Damn, that transition was awfully good.
Oh my God, this brought me to tears. What a masterpiece of a show this is. Right up there next to Breaking Bad.
Definitely my favorite out of all the tribute videos people have been making - This one really contextualizes the entire franchise into one video, specifically from Jimmy's perspective, and it's great.
An amazing tribute - to an amazing show. It may be over, but don't worry. It's all good, man.
This is unbelievably good. It is an excellent re-telling of the story and it captures its essence. Bravo. One of the best edits I have seen ever, if not the best, and I've seen a lot of them.
Wow what a great edit, the way something stupid is playing while all the fun and games are still going on and then just cuts off as soon as the criminal and lawyer worlds collide in one of the most memorable and heart breaking moments in the show. Amazing job
Great tribute! The end of the show just feels like a breakup you know everything will be okay but it still hurts.

Dude this is the best bcs edit so far
Honestly seeing the rise and fall of James McGill has been a much more heartfelt, funny, and dramatic story than breaking bad!
5:37 shows how Saul and Walter were polar opposite of each other
one died being proud of his legacy while the other went to jail being disgusted by it.

Wow this video really made the “it’s McGill” line hit even more, literally have tears. Amazing video!
yooo the Dark soundtrack with something stupid, amazing
This video deserves 1 billion views, I have watched this every day, multiple times a day, since finding it. This video brings a tear to my eye everytime. It is a bonus that DARK is also one of my top 3 all time favorite shows.
This might be the best montage of all time. Like ever.
Such a beautiful edit. I love how you brought the two shots at 5:55 and 5:58 together. Those are two of my favorite shots in the entire series.
Apparat goodbye feels like a cheat code, editing was amazing by the way.
what I realized is, Saul became a lot like Chuck in the last episode, especially when he was in court, plus the atmosphere of the black and white picture, it made me even more sure it was Chuck

Bruh that transition to apparat’s goodbye, top notch
The cut between Jimmy confessing everything, and Chuck picking up the "time machine" book. It's like Jimmy understood what time machine really meant, and Chuck is finally proud of him, watching his brother from the above.
This edit and the way it seamlessly integrates Breaking Bad into the overall story really gave the impression that this was one 11 Season story.
Bravo Vince
This edit made me tear up man. We will probably never get such a perfectly written universe ever again. I enjoyed every single minute of it like nothing else. Amazing work, stay safe!
You got all of my tears out, man. There's nothing left.
I love that edit and how you reflect Howard's death as their turning point, how everything changes since that. Also Jimmy's line after that "what is done can be undone", not realising he CANNOT undo that but without being aware that Kim has realised it and it's the reason she falls apart.

Amazing edit, such a wonderful use of every scene in both series, extremely detailed and very, very emotive. I enjoyed every minute
Amazing Video and Tribute, thank you so much! This helps me to handle the End of the Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul Universe
Beautiful, people keep saying they wanted the intro to play at some point, but this proves that the show was filled with scenes like that, just a little more subtle.
If there was any point we should have got the intro song it should have been in seasons 1-3 imo where he wasn't as in so deep in the cartel doings. I always picture the upstart Jimmy McGill of the early seasons willing to cut corners at Davis and Main or spend an all nighter swapping numbers to fool his brother when I hear the full song.
@@SmileRYO yes, it fits better the theme of the show in the earlier seasons, they even kind of removed it from the last episodes.
What an edit my guy, music makes it so much perfect. Goodbye James McGill..
Jesus Christ! This was an amazing edit . It perfectly encapsulates the six season emotionally in both the tone and the music!
I'm really going to miss this show and the entire universe that was created!
Bravo Vince!
Wow, you just pieced so many things together here in such a satisfying way. I felt everything from the past half-season, and full season, and entire show just crash into me again, with some music to really make the emotion hit home. Thanks, I love this!
What a legacy to leave behind. Masterful edit.
holy shit this is the best video I've ever seen. especially the 4k footage is so crisp. it made me tear up man seriously.
Jimmy did change, but it was all too little too late.
When we look at Gene, we really get the sense that he truly is broken. He tries to pinpoint the exact moment where he could've turned back; his biggest mistake. In the last time-machine flashback, Chuck offers Jimmy a chance to reflect on his choices in life, but he refused. All it had to take was a quick heart to heart chat with his brother, and Jimmy could've lived on as a good man...
Chuck berated Jimmy by calling him a chimp with a machine gun.
Everyone just kept leaving jimmy, first it was Chuck then it was Kim at the end.
WOW. I wondered how this would be over six minutes when it started, but this was perfect.
I got so many goosebumps watching this. What an incredible show, what an amazing edit!
Apparat goodbye was very fitting. Little breaking bad call back. Brilliant work
