Brakes are for quitters and knowbody likes a quieter. With a granny low you seriously will rarely use them if you're driving a manual as it should be. Also now that you got it running definitely sounds likes it's got a nice lope at idle like it might have a bit of a cam in her. So as it's my 1st time watching your channel I'm unaware if you have already sourced the 12valve or at least have a good lead on where the one you are gonna use for the engine swap is as finding a decent one for a fair price ain't easy as it once was back when they weren't getting shoe horned Into just about anything everything short of using one to hop up an old washing machine
