agree, it isn't her best but i just love this song. Kate writes songs about all sorts of things and not just the usual love/loss that most artists seem to focus on. I also love Breathing as well which is a great song.
Such an underrated single from Kate and unless your British you might not know exactly what Hammer Horror was :) good on you for choosing a song that isn’t withering heights or running up that hill!
Kate is hot right now thanks to Stranger Things. We used to have Fireworks on the Queens Birthday weekend but it's now a lot more restricted but Sydney has the biggest Fireworks in the world every New Year. So this song is about an Actor who replaces his friend in a Horror Film after his friend dies in a mysterious accident and he starts to feel haunted by his friend. It's never 100% clear if the Actor is just guilty at profiting from his friends death or that he actually killed his friend for the role and has gone insane. Like Babooshka it's telling a dark tale. Yeah she's gorgeous. Glad peoples donations have been helping mate. Hope you feel better soon.
Kate Bush was said to have a net worth of 60 M before Stranger Things 4, so "being millionaire again" is not, what she would say. She's still alive and kicking, her "radioactive half-life" let me hope, that she'll release a new album within the next few years. But mayybe not, who knows? She's not very often in interviews or present with comments, but for Stranger Things 4, she did both. Could be, that she's only enjoying private life, but as her son Bertie is now 24 or so, I see a chance for a new album... Aerial (2005) took her about 12 years without a lot of life signs, and her last studio album is from 2011...
