Don’t worry, the accent and the topics are specific to the UK. The guy is incredible, he somehow has huge amounts of material. It’s also because he’s actually a nice guy, that’s how he’s so brutal.

If anyone thinks he’s going overboard with the kids in the audience, it’s because there should NOT be kids in the audience, there are signs everywhere and everyone knows what Frankie Boyle is like so it’s a reminder to stupid parents who are thinking of being ‘cool’ and taking their kids along. Why should he have to tone things down because you brought your brat. Your kid will be traumatised.
