That teleport smash that you did is in the tutorial. They call it perfect smash. You wait for the glow when hold the smash button, then release when they glow. I think the most important thing is that you cant use the same rush combo string twice in a row or the combo will end.
@@codiejones4584 yea! glad I could help. So, for example, if you do square, square, triangle two times, the combo ends. so, you want to do something like square, square, triangle followed by square triangle or any other combination. Each character has different moves, so I HIGHLY recommend looking at character explanations in training and seeing what that specific character can end the combo with. i usually look for something that sends them flying back to i can use a skill.
TLDR: Basically, Heavy Finish, Ki Blast Cannon, Flying Kick, Rolling Hammer, Blaster Wave and Ki Rush Wave are all Rush Chain attacks that can be chained together with the exception of Ki Rush Wave due to the pushback that knocks them down. You cannot do the same Rush Chain ender twice or it will knock them away. Every character has a Ground Slash (down+2 after step in, jump or rush attack) and a Lift Strike (up+2 after step in, jump, rush attack) that leads to a follow up combo as well. These are all things carried over from Tenkaichi 3 and these games are much MUCH more than just mashing the square button and spamming super/ultimate moves over and over lol. These games have always had a ton of depth and i’m glad there is a modern Tenkaichi game that can wake up casual folks to see there more this game has to offer and has a very deep combat system.

Great video! I'm taking notes because I'm DUSTY in this game. But 2:17 I've been utilising this, even used it in my video I'm about to upload. Am I right in thinking that the TP heavy is unblockable? Keep it up Draco!
@@PoisonedOkami lmaooo POISON!!! Yeah fam definitely gonna do another guide tomorrow to explain more! But definitely yes. Blocking heavy hits is both bad n good. Depends on your ki management
For the rush combo I only reccomend when you punch them into the air to stop spamming square. Because the part where you slam them down back to the ground in the rush combo they could easily Z counter that.
Those goku combos were crisp. Didn’t know the game went that in depth 😂Ik it went a little in depth but this was a good showing of 2 different characters. Mind you theres like 170 more..

Yeah each character is completely different! Like goku base square and triangle is heavy finish but when he transforms into super saiyan, his square triangle becomes flying kicks.
I normally chain heavy finish into Ki cannon because like you said Ki cannon pushes you back. After Ki cannon though you can constantly keep pressing square
So when you’re hitting them right? Idk what system you’re on but I’m on PlayStation. So it can be square one time two times three times or even four times but after you hit them press up triangle to knee them up then press x to jump to them and press triangle again to knee them. If you mean another combo lol can you time stamp?
I saw a guy post a vid of 20 hit up combos. Listen that’s cool but if +10 rarely doesn’t work on the story cpu it’s not working with someone with thumbs 😂
The story gets waaaaaay more cracked than what anyone with thumbs can even do. I beat Goku's story, and got stuck on black's. Even in Goku's, a lot of it seems like luck and rng. My last one, I was fused Zamasu vs Vegito. Literally got caught in a z counter chain that was so long, it took ALL my ki, theirs never even dropped. He starts spamming rush smashes on me, knocking me back and forth like he's playing a game of one man volleyball, never running out of ki. I try to revenge counter, he counters the revenge counter and resumes his volleyball game until my body was demoted to "corpse".. I then immediately put in a refund request, because this is bullshit.

@DracoWolf_ thank you bro, I'll definitely be going through you're channel for more helpful tips this game is brutal online no lie.😂🔥
@@braheem2k oh best believe I know lmao but trust me once you actually learn the character you’re using? And fight someone who knows the same? This game becomes a whole different experience
You should include the buttons
What controls would you say are better classic or standard
@@amarebarriner5895 I’m only doing classic because I grew up playing the tenkaichi series lmao so that’s what I’m used to.
2:20 they actually do teach that
I dont know if you said it in the video or not but how do you kick the person up then hit him with a heavy finish
@@Muffyperson yeah once you jump up you press triangle again to hit them with a heavy! I have another video dropping tomorrow explaining more
Did the tutorial for a few hours and forgot it all
LMFAOOOOO SAME. luckily i had muscle memory from old tenkaichi games
I know animations are obviously different, but each character has the same button combos or the buttons are different per character ?
Yeah each character is completely different! Like goku base square and triangle is heavy finish but when he transforms into super saiyan, his square triangle becomes flying kicks.
They do teach you the vanish in training mode at 2:00
So I’ve heard lmfaooo last minute I found out 😭😭😭
10:52 what input is needed for the teleport follow-ups after the throw? 🫤
Right after you throw them? Press triangle to teleport to them to hit them! 😊❤️
@@DracoWolf_ 💖
How are you chaining ki cannon into the heavy finish is there an input in between or is it just timing?
Like after ki cannon when I do it my opponent is a pretty good distance
I normally chain heavy finish into Ki cannon because like you said Ki cannon pushes you back. After Ki cannon though you can constantly keep pressing square
Most of this stuff is actually in Piccolo’s training
Just a little bit I just wanted to touch more on each thing
Mr Popo before he went purple lol
Jiren, Kefla, Ui Goku
After you knock them into the air how did you instant teleport and stun them with goku pole combo you showed ?
So when you’re hitting them right? Idk what system you’re on but I’m on PlayStation. So it can be square one time two times three times or even four times but after you hit them press up triangle to knee them up then press x to jump to them and press triangle again to knee them. If you mean another combo lol can you time stamp?
Janemba🙌🏼
I saw a guy post a vid of 20 hit up combos. Listen that’s cool but if +10 rarely doesn’t work on the story cpu it’s not working with someone with thumbs 😂
Yeah I saw that 😂😂 and I was like yeah not happening 💀💀💀 the stuff I posted definitely is gonna help players though
@@DracoWolf_ please post one with input controls tho, would make things easier ! Good vid either way
The story gets waaaaaay more cracked than what anyone with thumbs can even do.
@@dillonconners586😂😂😂
Wish this had input display in training, or maybe i just can't find it
It doesn’t but if you look at my better player guide I put buttons on the screen for people lol
Do NOT play this game with a keyboard bruh 🙏🏽😭
WHO THE HELL LMAO. WHAT DEMON IS DOING THAT? 😭😭😭
@@DracoWolf_ ummm… yeah like who would do that? That would be so weird…
@@thelegendarysupersaiyanbro6535 it’s you isn’t it 💀💀💀💀
I can not figure out how people are flying behind me so fast? Feel like an idiot. Help
They’re double tapping dash
