The instructions that came with the clock were difficult to use. The video is easier but I am not seeing a display button. I only see up, down and set. Can one of these be used as the display button?

@@jaimieprete4884 Just hold the 'DOWN' button until the year shows up and blinks and hit set until it goes through the data until you get the time. Then use UP and DOWN to change the time.

THANK YOU! I couldn’t find the instructions and messed up a settings during daylight savings, this video was so helpful. (A little hack: keep the instructions in the battery compartment. I did this but gave them to my mom, who has the same clock, and never got them back.)

It is a nice little clock, thank you for the video as I could not get it set. I would have liked it if you spent more time explaining some of their abbreviations, and spend more time on the actual setting instructions rather than the aesthetics of the clock.

Just Vlad, SD stands for Sound Control. --:Sd means sound control off. on:Sd means sound control on. When sound control is on, display will turn off after 10-15 seconds. Make a noise to turn the display on.

@@Juicyyyxd it ended up being faulty. I emailed their customer support and had to send them a video showing what exactly was not working. I’m the end they ended up sending me a new clock. I had to send them a photo of the box I received it in… the new one works!

I guess my clock is a newer version, because it's the same clock, but it's very different, in the back. there's no AA batteries (only a watch battery backup), it uses USB-C power source, and the controls are very different

So I assume it can be powered by the batteries alone, not just for backup in case the power goes out. I noticed on Amazon, on their page it says powered by a cord and not battery powered. WEIRD.

So when I click my down button, it doesn't give you the option to turn it on and off through sound. It only pops up with the date, clock time, etc. Doesn't allow you to actually change it. Do you know how the setting could be fixed?

To set the time: hold the DOWN button for 3 seconds: then use the SET button to advance and the UP button to change the values.

My clock dims at 6pm every day, is there a way to turn this off?

do you know how to make it ring until I turn it off because mine usually turn off after 1 minute of ringing.
Just dropping a comment to say a few thing about the clock showed in the vid and similar models (also applies to some extent as there's variantions betwen the rectangular ones and there's a cube one).
1) It goes brighter at 6am and dimmer at 7pm. By default its L3 (brightest) during daytime and L1 (darkest) during nighttime, but its possible to override that by changing the brightness during the current cycle (bright or dark).
2) There's a CR2032 battery behind a screw panel inside the battery compartment that's used to keep the time and settings. Its separate in function from the 4 AAA batteries used to power the clock's display.
I learned that as I was figuring out how my clock works and its a similar model to the one in the video just not slanted. Mine's always been in hse plugged in as getting AAA batteries is more expensive than just using a low powered phone charger to power the clock, which shouldn't be too hard considering it just needs just 5v 500mA.

@@oldfamilyvideos5885 I was not expecting a reply haha. For the brightness on my unit it is accessed by holding down the UP button and when you see L1, L2, L3 press the UP and DOWN buttons to set the brightness. Then leave it be for a few seconds.
Additionally I think some models have a L0 brightness like the cube version I got.

I have the exact same clock. Its hygrometer shows totally absurd relative humidity and I did a little research on how to calibrate it. This clock does not have a way to manually calibrate it.
