I am a 3rd gen FL native and we would spend almost every summer with mom , grandma my sister, sometimes aunts and cousins traveling all over to go to parks and see little off the road places. It is where we found great crabbing and fishing spots. My dad led the police explorers so we go to go to places like Disney, Sea World, Busch Gardens for free. It was awesome. Because he was our small town community liaison and the head of the schools' law enforcement program, he spent man y weeks during the summer going to continuing education classes where we would get the room paid for and while dad was attending classes during the day mom and my sister and I would take out this thing called a map (cell phone's didnt exist yet) and go explore.

Awesome memories! Keeping on budget by cooking some meal in camper even was a memory from when I went with my parents and my mom carefully planned our menu & eat at a restaurant a few times so you get to treat yourself a little bc you’ll be running around from park to camper to playground!! 🎉❤
The sun is definitely stronger in Florida! My family vacationed in Florida back in 2002. We got to our hotel and went to cool off at the pool. 2 hours later we looked like lobsters!!

One of my favorite meals is a simple chicken taco prep for two (add more chicken breast for more servings). We take a large chicken breast, salt and pepper it, pan sear it, then throw it in a cast iron in the oven. Prep taco toppings: tomato, cheese, onion, lettuce, guac/avocado, black beans, corn, salsa, sour cream... whatever the desire is. We get soft corn tortillas and pan warm them, with a little butter in the pan, on both sides. Cube the breast when it's done - serve it buffet style. That's it. Literally the only seasonings is salt and pepper and it is so delicious.

You brought back happy memories for me. We took our kids to SeaWorld when my oldest was 7 and she's 32 now with 4 babies of her own. I was too short to ride their big coaster too so tell Kylan he's not alone lol. I honestly hated for this one to end. Time seriously flies by so always enjoy it with each other. God bless you all.

I am on the same page about cooking every meal, I always bought the little boxes of cereal for the day we were headed home, my boys were able to eat the remaining boxes as a treat on the way home, thank you for sharing your time with us, hugs 🤗

I travel a few time a year to visit a property I manage in a different state. I stay in a timeshare. Some people think I am nuts I suppose but I go grocery shopping and eat at the timeshare almost all meals. Eating out is not only expensive but often disappointing....IMO. Great video!

My dad was a POW in WWII, too! Brother went to Vietnam for 2 years. Hubby spent 7.5 years in the Army. I'm surrounded by military, including my mom!
