You simply SAVED MY DAY... I am so happy that I found you and your tutorial, so clear, step by step... so simple that even I can get it... and I'm not the brightest designer on the block, I tell you. Too late for Xmas best wishes, of course ;-) But my blessings for your care and generosity.
Great tutorial. It's a shame that we don't yet have a Live Filter for the Mesh Warp tool. It would be nice to be able to place an Embedded File (Smart Object) and use a non-destructive Mesh Warp Live Filter on it. You'd be able to make re-useable product mock-ups.
@@tavilucelebraciones2275 The live filter for Mesh Warp should come in version 2.0 of the software (probably sometime this fall). In the meantime, you'll have to use the "destructive", non-live Mesh Warp filter.
Everything is going well for me right up until 11:30 where I apply the blur, as soon as I move the slider I see a grey area where the expanded slection is, it doesnt blur like how yours does in the video, please help!
Hai, This is very cool. but I don't find embedded layer can use warp tool? can only live perspective and liquify only. how to make a curved mockup with embed layer? Is there a trick and how?
I’m looking for a way to make a mug wrap in Affinity photo, where I can put an image on one side mirror that image on the other and merge the two images in the middle. Any ideas?
Is there any way i can make this image as a smart object so i can use it as a template to replace it with any image that i choose or do i have to do the same steps everytime for every image?
I often "save" your videos for bedtime, ie. the last thing before sleep because they're so good - a treat. Tonight is extra tasty sauce. Thanks. 😋

Completely agree.
Hi, have you find the way to do it? Is that possible? I am crazy trying to discover it

Do you have one for doing open book flat lays where one image goes across the whole spread?
Thanks Olivio. 😃
Thank you so much Olivio, amazing video as always!💪
Nice, man
😀

can you give details on recreating the grid?
Nice! Thanks

Right now, that's not possible in AP
You made an Amazing tutorial i love it :-)
Where can I find a white coffee ☕️ mug like yours ? Thank you for awesome tutorial! I’m going to surprise my friend, with his picture on a cup :)
Awesome trick thank you. 🖖🦾
Danke! Geile Sache!

love it!!
Great tutorial as always, though I'm wondering why you didn't use the Straighten option within the Crop Tool to straighten out the mug.
That's another way to do it :) Many Roads lead to Rome :)
Can you feather the image so it's not just a flat square plastered on the cup...but blended and fading in?
yes, just use einter the layer blend modes or the layer blend ranges to do that
Awesome
Cool
How to make that mockup into a template? so we can change the image anytime easily...
Thank you for your answer... :)
Sadly that is not possible at the moment, since you can't save warp bends as a smart layer
@@OlivioSarikas maybe we should ask Affinity team to add that feature to the next Affinity Photo version...
@@galuhdharmawijaya they don't listen to influencers, just to their community ;)
Grid link doesn't work. Where can I get it?
What is the reasoning for grouping only that one layer? Im away from my computer for a week and i cant test it
what if the surface has a wave in it, like one of those designer lamps.
You can try to adapt it to that surface, but that is probably going to be rather complex. you can try to do it with liquify
Does this work on ipad?
Hi, is there a way to build up the composition so that I can swap the placed image and the distortions are taken over?
sadly no. affinity photo can't warp smart layers yet
Is there any way i can make this image as a smart object so i can use it as a template to replace it with any image that i choose or do i have to do the same steps everytime for every image?
Sadly no. Affinity Photo doesn't have that function yet
@@OlivioSarikas thats truly sad. This would increase the value affinity photo has against photoshop.
I think I'm late to the party, the grid's link is not working anymore :( Great tutorial tho! I needed exactly this
diablos por que no hacen un tutorial en español jajaja
