Courtney getting mad at survey which made Cirie laugh her ass off, and Shane being naked while Bruce was medevac are my favorite moments from that episode.
If it wasn't clear that that this episode wasn't suppose to be funny, it would have been in my top 10 all time (Shout out to the Jenna's mom is dying music playing when Shane is talking about chafing in wet clothes).
I will never forget watching Drew’s boot live with my dad. Both of us were speechless and just laughing our asses off. To do this day he still constantly quotes “I’m a badass” “he’s a moron” That episode always reminds me that Survivor is something I get to share with him
She should’ve given it to her. Angelina is the most selfless, daring survivor ever. She climbed a thousand foot ladder and had to skydive off a cliff just for an idol!

"Nothing Tastes Better Than $500" from Survivor Gabon will probably be one of the funniest episodes of all time. Everything in this episode was pure comedy, and the ending with Randy's blindside was the cherry on top.
Honestly, I think the premiere of Cagayan alone should have gotten an honorable mention. Capturing every single insanity that was the Luzon tribe was top tier. Though the merge episode is equally as great, so I can't blame you.

I was sure the Sophie blindside episode from winners at war would be up there on your list. It was just a masterclass of Tony’s character and strategy and might be my number 1
S25 E04 (Philippines): "Create a Little Chaos" is an all-timer for me. Russell's freudian slip after losing immunity, Russel's blunder at finding an idol, and the realization of Malcolm + Denise as a duo. It's got it all.
Pearl Islands was the first season I ever watched live, and I've continued to watch for 20 years in a futile attempt to chase the high of Rupert stealing shoes in the premiere
I have really fond memories of the Survivor South Pacific finale. It's been a bit, but it made the season for me. Every challenge in that episode is tense and wonderful, seeing if Ozzy can beast it (plus they're really exciting in different ways). We also see Sophie emerge as a top 10 player of Survivor's 20, both as a challenge threat, the true master of her tribe, and one of the best final tribals. The prior tribals too, watching her break down and be exposed more to the jury and audience. You see a raw edge with her that really lends to why she won, why she deserved victory. It's also the downfall of Rick, Albert and Coach, the later two really feel so brutal, but complete. It's a stellar ending, and my favorite episode of the dark ages (exclusing Philippines)

Coach has never been one of my favorites. I know we saw a flash of it at the beginning of the video, but I would've added the Edgardo boot in Fiji. So much chaos, and then so much strategy, and everything just ended up working.
Obviously as an Aussie, I pretty biased but Id have to campaign for some Au Survivor episodes here HvV episode 7; from the hilarious scene of the Heroes basically begging Gerry not to turn on then at the swap. The incredible tribal council and to the genuinely heated rivalry between George and Simon. Its an amazing episode. Or I could also go with Jam Gate from Au Survivor season 2. Where Luke Jericho and Henry steal all their tribes leftover jam rations, accidentally wind up framing Anneliese and then play extremely aggressively to ensure she actually leaves. Its amazing also a highlight. Or perhaps the Benji boot episode in Au Survivor CvC. Where Benji (a schemer who just can't help but lie about everything). Has finally taken contril of the game...and then we watch as his lies begin to unravel, so he gets desperate and tells even more ridiculous lies (such as telling Brian, who has individual immunity that the outsiders were targetting him tonight)...all building to him getting blindsided with an idol in his pocket in a manner eerily similar to how he blindsided Mat just one episode prior
My favourite episodes are probably season 9 the final 7 flip and season 28 the merge vote, both episodes are chaos, flips and power swaps my favourite things in surivor, together with a great cast both times, just lovely. Honorable mentions to final 6 in 43, the jeff k ent vote in phillipines and some episodes in titans v rebels in australia, like the final 5, the final 12 and episode 9 and the frazier vote in survivor australia heroes v villains
I really like that you included Jesse's betrayal of Cody, it and Kalebs shot in the dark from 45 are my two favorite new-age episodes so far, both of them give me hope for the future of this franchise (despite how bleak this current seasons got me feeling).
For me, not in any particular order: Finale - Borneo Rotu flip - Marquesas Leann boot - Vanuatu James boot - China Ozzy blinside - Micronesia Coach at Exile - Tocatins Merge - Heroes vs. Villains Premiere - Cagayan Wentworth does not count - Cambodia Natalie's jacket - David vs. Goliath
I always saw it as a precursor to the modern era. You have the first rock draw, the first major flip of power structure, first underdog winner. Gabe being voted out for not wanting to play the game? What is this? The 30s-40s era of Survivor?
Also the absolute DRAMATICS of the tribe swap this season. The Rotu tribe all coming in so happy and loving one another to them being CRUSHED they had to swap. Then Jeff says something like “this was your destiny”. Then, of course, Gabe’s swan song and the rise of Johnny Pots ‘n Pans. Marquesas is such a gem of a season, as much of a hot mess as part of it was (the fucking kite flying challenge), it had some all-time great moments. This episode, the merge, the first power flip, “do you guys want this mint from my mouth”, and the first rock draw. We need Vecepia on Winners at War 2, and we need Gabe on Second Chances 2.
Thing one, I ALWAYS thought James and Amanda had chemistry, for some reason. I mean of the romantic variety. I don't know how well that would or could ever play out, though. Thing number two. good top pick. I don't think I'm spoiling anything, not really, by saying, "Whenever Coach isn't on-screen, people should be asking, 'WHERE'S COACH?'." He's my favourite player ever, and when a work colleague who also watches the show asked me "Why him?", I just said, "For the showmanship."
Great video! One quick correction: Sarah was trying to persuade the Aparri alliance to vote Tony, not the Solana alliance. The New Aparri tribe consisted of Spencer, Tasha, Jeremiah, Morgan, and Kass (who flipped) along with Sarah, who was the only player who remained on both versions of Aparri.
Cool man love survivor, I subscribed before but keep it up. I only don't like I haven't seen EVERY season (mostly bad ones) and sometimes I have to stop video for future spoiling lol
Number one for me and will likely always be the finale of season 1. Kelly completing the immunity run to go to final 2, the tie at the final 4 tribal and Kelly flipping on the re-vote, Richard dropping out of the final immunity challenge realizing his best strategy was to not win, fan favorite Rudy being the last one voted out, the rat/snake speech, each juror approaching that final vote with a different mindset, and the dramatic 4-3 vote with the villain of the season winning. It's the first episode I ever saw and I've been hooked ever since.
The Martyr Approach is loved by both people who love Coach for his crazy Coach antics and loved by people who hate Coach because he gets voted out that episode
I dont even care if this comes off as dickriding, but the finale of S31 Cambodia is hands down my favorite episode of all time. Jeremy's final council speech along with Wentworth's exit just makes the episode so icon and so hard-hitting. To me, it feels a lot like E12 of S43.

Some of these are just moments that stand out in my favorite episodes (in no specific order): San Juan Del Sur finale (Baelor's blindside) Cook Islands (Mutiny episode) I like the first ep where the Aitu 4 start to take over the game. I couldn't give you a top ten, but I would have to say that my favourite episode ever is the first post-merge episode of South Pacific. Why? Well, firstly, Coach's whole, ahem, "dressing down" of Cochran, "You voted him out knowing he'd come ack, you've got an idol in your pocket," so forth shows he's not an idiot in reality, but it ALSO displays for the first time that Cochran was going to be a star. He played a good game that first run, considering his theoretical odds.
Pearl Islands has a number of great options but I'd go with the rupert boot, just editing maximalism with how they tell you the "bad guys" are winning this one
When I originally watched Tocantins I was just so annoyed by Coach's BS and embroiled in rooting for my favorite people that I just couldn't appreciate what he was bringing, but once you aren't caught up in who wins anymore and can look at the show as a character drama Coach is top tier TV. It's why I love Phillip Shepard as well.
I know there's probably too many episodes to sift out a bottom ten of all time, but what about a bottom ten among the "pinpoint" episodes? Premiers, finales, swap and merge episodes, and other season centerpiece episodes?
If Rob and Russel could work together, they would be by far one of the most dangerous duos to ever play Survivor. No anymore, everyone knows who Russel is now, but back in his infancy, Rob and Russel would have dominated the game.
Come on, and I have not yet seen the episodes, but Rupert stealing the shoes has to be one of the best episodes ever. Hell, Pearl Islands should have some spots for sure.

When I originally watched Tocantins I was just so annoyed by Coach's BS and embroiled in rooting for my favorite people that I just couldn't appreciate what he was bringing, but once you aren't caught up in who wins anymore and can look at the show as a character drama Coach is top tier TV. It's why I love Phillip Shepard as well.
A part of me wishes Coach won Tocantins, HvV or South Pacific. He would've been so entertaining in WaW. Him and Tony in one season. Dammit

I know there's probably too many episodes to sift out a bottom ten of all time, but what about a bottom ten among the "pinpoint" episodes? Premiers, finales, swap and merge episodes, and other season centerpiece episodes?
If Rob and Russel could work together, they would be by far one of the most dangerous duos to ever play Survivor.
No anymore, everyone knows who Russel is now, but back in his infancy, Rob and Russel would have dominated the game.
