Okay, I’ve never been a fan of Googan. Never bought their baits, well recently I got The MotherLoad MTB and the Googan Lipless Crawl Crank was in there. Took that thing to a massive pond with a ton of rip rat and concrete slaps, and smoked the living life out of them bass. Definitely a fan of them now.

Man I remember that place when it was full of Red fish and Tilapia used to just cruse from the fishing point to the out flow and back trolling rattle traps behind the ole 2 man.. I haven’t fished it since the last big kill off doesn’t look like I’ll get another chance…
My wife grew up fishing on that lake with her dad, it really sucks its being closed down. I'm glad you honored the lake and the people who have memories there.
About 4 years ago I got really into bass fishing and I came across LFGs channel and I was so weirded out that he would sniff the bass when he catches them... I dont release a fish now without giving it a good sniff lol
Have you ever fisher Flowing Wells on Texoma for Crappie? I know a couple of guys that have 3+LB mounted on their living room walls. This was back in the 80's. No telling what it is like in March 2023.

This MN angler is green with envy right now. Our lakes are frozen with 6" of new snow on them, and bass season does not open until mid-May.
Glad the fishing got better for you they shutdown the turbines around my area and the fishing sticks compare what it use to be sadly

Hey Justin, Just saw in the Dallas Morning News where TPW is going to open Lake Fairfield for day use starting the 14th.
My wife grew up fishing on that lake with her dad, it really sucks its being closed down. I'm glad you honored the lake and the people who have memories there.
