The current Helpdesk job I work at is for Giant Food's and Stop & Shop grocery chains on the east coast. They all have lexmark printers. Video was nice for more insight into the printers themselves
Thank you for this video! I was looking for content relating to Lexmark printers but did not come across this video in search. It’s very helpful when considering buying vintage Lexmark printers. Maybe you might consider tagging your video with a Lexmark word to help with search results?
Good video Kevin. What about faulty nic cards or checking for proper cable routing to patch panel and switches? Printer tickets can be frustrating sometimes
@@KevtechITSupport hi bro I have one doubt I'm beginner to this area actually I like about you the way of teaching this all thank you bro .my question is can you explain about VM ware virtual machine does this really used in help desk area or it's just used for teaching purposes?
@@Rajbharath10 glad it helps. I already have videos on virtual box which is similar to vmware. You use it to make your labs at home to practice real life scenario issues on a vm.
Do you recommend Lexmark monochrome laser printers? Are they pretty easy to fix when compared to other brands? I’m looking at a 16 year old one, the e350d, just because it’s cheap. But I don’t know anything about printers! What printers are the easiest for consumers to fix in your opinion?
If it prints only a quarter of the page from left to right, does it need a new toner? Just to clarify, it prints fine on the left side then fades to nothing towards middle to right.
I have a Lexmark s315 and now it will not power on or off, it's showing in the menu window energy star and willnot do anything, I just used it on Dec. 3, ran out of cyan can you help?
Can be the power supply needs to be replaced. But I wouldn't know what it is unless I physically have the printer with me. So you need to check the service manual.
Thank you Kevin!
You are my savior!

never had issues with lexmark printers. The one in this video. I still have it and it works fine.
What causes streaks on papers? Is it a scratched photosensitive drum or dirty corona wire?
Actually could be any of those things.
If it prints only a quarter of the page from left to right, does it need a new toner? Just to clarify, it prints fine on the left side then fades to nothing towards middle to right.
That can be anything. From the toner to the heater on the printer itself or the alignment of the ink.
I have a HP Officejet 4630 that won't print the left 2 inches of a copy. Any ideas?
Get a hammer. Use the hammer
