    Tomatoes, red pepper, onion, garlic, nooch, fresh jalapeños, pepper, spinach/ chard, mix into steamed and mashed potatoes. Stuff into portobello mushrooms, sprinkle with nooch and smoked paprika. Airfry at 200 for 20 mins or oven for 30 keeping an eye on them. Drizzle with balsamic glaze to serve

    I love that this is prepared and filmed at home in a small space that shows you do not need a fancy chef's kitchen. These are the same utensils we all can afford or already have at home. thanks for the ideas and inspirations.

    I made the Red Lentil Chili in your book on page 180. When the recipe was presented it called for rice cauliflower but it does not list in the book.

      honestly, I'd prefer washed hands to mix, only because of the waste of non-biodegradable plastics. Think of hospitals and home care workers.... every glove counts. I think she should wash and not use the gloves. Unless of course you have a reason you shouldn't. Not judging, just trying to be friendly to the environment.

    Hey AJ! Thanks for yet another great guest & recipe. In this episode you mentioned two things that I was hoping for clarification. First is easy, could you write the Santa Clarita Kaiser Dr's name. Second is why you recommend unfortified nutritional yeast. I was under the impression that fortifying it with B vitamins, etc. is beneficial.

      I am also allergic to black pepper. I found out after eating a meal with a black pepper. Shortly afterwards, my mouth, lips, tongue, checks became itchy and swollen. It stayed this way for many hours. It was awful.

    I have lipedema. I wonder if this diet would work for that. Everyone with lypthedem or lipedema does the meat fat diet but I can't make myself do that. To me its unhealthy but I'm desperate for something to work on my kind of disease fat.

      The fortified doesn't taste bad if you're just using a sprinkle but recipes calling for larger amounts tend to have a strange taste due to the vitamins added. I was not liking the tastes of any cheesy sauces/dishes and I mentioned it to my more experienced vegan friend and she explained this to me.

    I could only find Braggs nutritional yeast at Whole Foods - it doesnt say unfortified - why does it have to be?

    We aren't scared that the potatoes will make us gain weight? I need to lose 80 lbs. My Dr said no rice, potatoes, pasta or bread. I feel that potatoes have vitamins and minerals. So I end up confused, stuck and still fat!!
