This year marks 60 years of G.I. Joe! In celebration the G.I. Joe team over at Hasbro have brought out the 60th Anniversary figures of the Action Sailor Recon Diver and the Action Soldier Infantry! Today we're taking a look at my favorite of the two, the Recon Diver.

I believe the rifle is a LWRC .308 cal. REPR "pistol". I absolutely love this figure. Most fans seem to prefer the Action Soldier, but I like this one better. The gear is more unique, and it's just a better looking figure. It's one of the only figures I've bought two of, one to keep sealed, one to open. However, Amazon shipped both in mailer bags, and both boxes had just enough damage I decided to open them. I'm honestly glad I did. They look so good together with Torpedo. Great video!

Yeah, I was looking at the Action Soldier and while I kinda dig the soft goods poncho he comes with, everything else seems like they just grabbed a handful of accessories from the bin and tossed them in the box. My Roadblock is 100% getting that Ma Deuce. And they gave him the double barrel AR....

Wetsuit is a SEAL and Deep Six is the diver.

Thank you for watching! And thanks for the info. I really couldn't remember if Wetsuit was a SEAL or not, I never had his figure as a kid. I very much remember Deep Six though...and that brick of a figure that he was.

Yeah here’s the thing with the animated series through out it was like how their rank didn’t matter in some case’s. They didn’t care about the detail’s back ground wise in some certain characters military career. It was stated that wet suit was seal in animated series but torpedo was the first seal to join the joes in the toy info and in the comics. We also learn that ship wreck post 90’s 2000 is seal and out ranked wetsuit and at time period when storm shadow joined joes as good guy post sunbow cartoon there was new character called tracker shown in series dressed as sports themed soldier but according to the comics tracker was navy seal. The are few other that showed up but weren’t mentioned as seal’s unless you look it via Wikipedia Joe wikia/ fandom or lastly comic vine.
