It's one of those missions you have to save beforehand and try every option (asides from betraying Tali of course) because they are so good. I've done Paragon then Rally the Crowd in my two playthroughs so far, Rally being my favourite given the support her people give her in Kal'Reegar and Veetor ❤️
I played a Renegade FemShep in ME2 so I never heard her Paragon speech before, Jennifer Hale really gives that one 110%. Back on topic, I've talked to the admirals every time I did this mission (which was only twice, admittedly), the idea that there'd be different dialog if you skipped them never occurred to me. I do like how the versions where you don't know about the war feel more personal, whereas the 'normal' version relies less on character evidence and calls out the admirals themselves.

Interesting! In the original game, those Charm/Intimidate options were greyed out if you never talked to the admirals. I remember hearing of “Talimancers” throwing their mice or controllers because those options weren’t available. The Legendary Edition nerfed a whole lot of these checks.
I had no idea that was the case! It's strange they would only enable the alternative Charm/Intimidate option now since I'm pretty sure no new content was added to the LE, other than graphical and QoL changes.
Man I love Kal'Reegar, he's such a bro to us and Tali. Wish they gave him a bit more of a send-off in ME3
He deserved better than being killed off screen.
"Noticed that, ma'am." Trooper if there ever was one.

I love those versions. Shepard sounds more agressive at defending Tali.

Damn the third wheel squadmate in the background is such a mood. 😆
Shepard: I don’t know where I am, I don’t know what I’m doing, all I know is…I must protecc

@@EmilyOnGames this could be a QoL change - or maybe they were there, but yOu needed an unobtainable number of Paragon/Renegade.
All these years, I didn’t know these dialogues were real!
Thanks for showing all this stuff, like always. I friggin' love Tali to death (she's my fav), so I'm happy to learn more about this kinda stuff.
Kal Reegar is such a badass. "I'll work on that. ma'am."
Did you read the news article about him in me3? He went out like a total stud
@@superman20029 rip Reegar 😞
Miranda sitting bored on the background is so funny.
I put the damn facts on the table .. after that it was no longer possible to get tali to bed *g .. in the ME3 she apparently apologizes for it *ggg
It is much better with Male Shep.
Nah mark meer does a great job in this scene.
