This has got to be one of the best selections of camera type, position, lens, and mount. The view through the old school front window, no too wide angle, not too narrow, with the perfect feeling of speed and immersion. I am not a rail fan and don't know trains but the quality of this video is just top notch. Major kudos to the cameraman!
I am a rail fan, and have watched hundreds of cab videos, but I must confirm that Arkibk Train Aki is one of the best! I suspect that it's not just because of a good selection of camera type, position, lens, and mount; but also good use of manual settings and/or post-processing.
Great afternoon & sunset colours, thank you for the ride! What I like about the Sanyo line is that it is a principal main line, yet has such a laud-back atmosphere. What was surprising however is that this train run did not encounter any freight trains. Was this on a Sunday or something?
I believe starting 20 January 2024, the route from Okayama to Himeji on the San'yō Main LIne will be switched to the 227-500 Series _Urara_ train sets. This is part of the process to phase out the use of the 113/115 Series train sets between Itozaki and Himeji.
