Thanks to Toyota Otis for letting me film the all new Toyota Wigo. If you're interested in the Wigo, you may contact them through: Nikki Carino: 0977-740-4680
I watched this review when I had my Wigo E 1st day, after 1 month - I am very happy with our Bingo the Wigo - it's our 1st family car. For the 45k difference, malaki na din sya na savings. 1. I was able to have a decent & quality dash camera for 5k. 2. The side mirrors works fine naman, not a big hassle na I adjust. Basically, what I am trying to say is, if you know the need & the purpose of getting your car - I am sure you will be happy :)
I think i would go for the G variant because it has back camera. I am fine with the rest of the lacking features compared to the G except manual folding side mirrors and a lack of rear camera is a big deal for me. 😅
Power folding and power adjusted side mirrors should be a must. We are no longer in the year of 19-forgotten so I have to agree that I would rather sacrifice the power adjusted mirrors at the back for it.
I bought the J variant and happy with it since all i needed was a running car and bluetooth…but i believe that the power side mirror should be part of the basic features.
I'll go with G-variant as it comes to more features for additional 45K such as the Push Start button , Reverse Camera , Digital Aircon , Auto adjust Side Mirror , Seat height adjustment , 4 Speakers , Tilt adjust Steering , Adjustable Headrest etc......
Great review, I have been waiting for someone to properly review the side mirror on this variant. Thanks for the info, a ball jointed side mirror is indeed a deal breaker.
Well for it's price. I really won't complain about the specs. But sa Price nayan at least toyota Improved thier lineup with their base model variant standard with LED headlights and DRL. Kind a bummer for thr Side mirror though. I really hate that Side mirror.
@@jungyohan5205 it’s not a good car..lots of vibration, sometimes you can see the seat and tablet screen vibrating, lots of body roll, jerky shifting, bumpy and harshe ride, high tyre and road noise, poor noice insulation,
Tapos yung price ranging from ₱648,000 to ₱684,000. Ngayon ask yourself kung worth it pa ba?
Much nicer styling than our previous Wigo, we had 2016. But no power mirrors on E? That’s like a J feature. Which for me means G version needed. But still 3 cylinder 1.0 liters when other markets get 1.2 liters? Very dissapointed 😢
Where is the 1.2L powered version? Why do we always have the under spec whenever introducing latest version of a certain model be it Toyota or other brands?
Anyone knows if you can replace the side mirrors to a g-variant kind? Im considering the E all because I dont like the push start and the digital temp controls (im the driver so i prefer to «touch» and be familiar with everything inside the cabin even without looking) BUT the manual adjust for the side mirror makes me think twice..
That side mirror is a massive turn-off. The only other car on sale today that I can think of which has those very-90's ball-joint side mirrors is the L300, and that is a commercial vehicle which is acceptable. The Wigo is a passenger car. The car being a base model shouldn't have relegated it to have Jurassic features like that just to keep the price down. Can you imagine if you need to fold the mirrors, then you'll have to adjust it back again? I mean, what's wrong with the manual folding with manual stalk-adjustment side mirror?
81000 more for a reverse camera and better side mirrors. Wait till a guy figure outs the pin diagram for the infotainment's relay for the reverse trigger.
I agree. The mid spec variant from the previous generation had everything from top of the line except for the body kit 🤣 They downgraded the mid variant.
As long as people buy it, Toyota will keep producing it. Glad the Chinese brands arrived on our shores or else we'll still get uninspired and outdated Jap cars. Lol.
I got the prices from Autodeal. It's supposed to be 648k for the normal colors and 684k for the yellow variant. Not sure why there's such a huge disparity in pricing for the color though.
Just WTF happened to Toyota giving their customers crappy MID SPEC cars like this, Damn can't imagine the base model of Wigo maybe it has manual in everything what a joke

Mr. JAYWALKUR Sir you are so right. Between power windows and power side mirror adjustment, I certainly would prefer the latter.
Reverse cam is not needed for small cars. The side and rearview mirrors are more than enough.
Power folding and power adjusted side mirrors should be a must. We are no longer in the year of 19-forgotten so I have to agree that I would rather sacrifice the power adjusted mirrors at the back for it.
Who says it is a must? Do you always need to change the settings everytime you drive? Think about it.

Great, balanced review! Thanks for this informative piece. Toyota is still relying on its badge to sell overpriced units
As a manual Driver I'll skip Wigo at all. I'll just go for the Raize Manual.
As a raise owner, I don’t recommend the raise either..

It would have been nicer with LED taillights.
@jaywalkur Please review 2024 Nissan Almera. Thanx.
the dilemma is should i go for the chinese very lux interior with nice tech or toyota man
solid for it's price
Buy a second hand 2018 to 2020 Honda City or Toyota Vios instead.
