You bake candy?
I don't have a comment bar at the bottom? Anyway, I like this idea. And this candy is a favorite with everyone ❤❤❤❤
Love your wedding pictures 🖼️. Thanks for your recipe... Can't wait to make it 🎉❤
Back in the 70's our church made these for everyone's wedding. Those were the good ole days when receptions were in the basement of the church. ;)
I was married in 1991, and we had them at my wedding reception 😁
In the church basement ☺️ Momma made Wintergreen and spearmint. Delicious 🤤
for the mints, I like to shape them by putting them through a cookie press. They turn out really nicely that way.ay.
After the dough is chilled?
That's an excellent idea. 😊
Tawra, try Wilton gel food colouring….the colours are intense, & you don’t have use much to get results. Also they don’t really increase the liquid ratio because they are gels.
I was feeling your pain on measuring the powdered sugar. It is the evil glitter of baking. 🤣It can be frustrating measuring it out of the bag because it sticks to the bag. So I dump it in a huge wide mouth container when I buy it, that I can easily dip my measuring cup into. Powdered sugar is still a necessary evil, but more manageable that way. Thanks for more great recipes!
I would argue that cocoa powder is the evil glitter of baking😂
@@maryjoyce1318 good point! 🤣🤣🤣
You should have a video of all your candies, cookies, and cake at holiday times. Must be gorgeous.
It's coming soon! :-)
Just found your channel a couple of videos ago. Love how you are just you in making all these great goodies! And you are enjoying making them just like I do! Thank you for all your ideas and saving money! We are retired 3 kids later and 7 grands later! This is so helpful and love how it is ALL just homemade fun and common sense!! ❤
I love that candy "You've got your chocolate in my peanut butter." I have those in the house now from Halloween. :) I'm going to make those mints and think of you this Christmas.
I've never made mints with cream cheese, just butter based, interesting, thank you.
I love that your videos are not in slow motion! Nobody has time for slow!
OMG! I know!! Those food porn people take a 47 second video and stretch it into 30 minutes!! AIN'T Nobody got time for that nonsense!🤪
Our grandmother used a hard plastic mold for mints. Rolled in sugar before molding and refrigerated for a short time, they popped right out. That may help those who want "fancy" candies.
Thank you for this video that reminded me that years ago I made these for two of my daughters' wedding receptions in the colors they chose to decorate with.
Thank you for your Vol 1 ebook for free! I just got mine! Happy Thanksgiving! I can't wait to try your recipes!
My recipe calls for butter and cream cheese. Thank you for sharing a different way
I would love to add butter to this can you tell me the recipe maybe?? Please 🥺🥰
We had the same wedding colors! Our mints were pink hearts❤. My mom, my sister, my sister in law, and I had so much fun making them!…and eating them🤣
I’d dip those mints halfway in chocolate 😋
All of these candy recipes look delicious! Thanks for the ideas!
Mike remembers nothing about the wedding mints. Lol~~He only had eyes for you. ❤

Looks really good can't wait to see how it looks like at the end
👍🏻 I’m old enough to remember lots of things.😂
Part of being a great cook is Presentation….. your eyes taste the food before your mouth tastes it, especially with Christmas baking and special occasions, perfection is in order……also precise measurements….. other than that, very good…👍
LOL
Must be new lol

My sisters and I use to make these for my girls and ALL 15 of my nieces showers and weddings it was such a good time together, brings back wonderful memories, we always used the molds. If you put sugar in each of the mold they released easier.
My grandma and neighbor made these for my wedding. So many memories. ❤
Oh. I do now. Thank you for reminding about these mints.

I love Reese's ,love love them
How far in advance would this stay in the fridge or in a airtight container before the holiday?
Reese’s peanut butter cups created in 1928 and I love your hair
Thanks for the page numbers!
Buy your candy the day after the holiday. I picked up some peanut butter cups the day after Halloween. They were half the price of the Christmas ones currently on the shelf.
Do you need to store your fudge in the freezer after you cut it in pieces?
I will be giving your Christmas candy for gifts this year!
Are you going to merch your apron? Ill buy one. Have your books. I lose track of ingredients too 😂
Your videos are wonderful
You have to actually fill the cup to be a cup.
We used to make balls and criss cross them with a fork.
Those look yummy! I have a question. Dollar tree used to sell a box of candy around Christmas and Valentines Day and stopped carrying in my area. It was called Elmer Chocolate Premium Assorted Box Chocolates Christmas Candy. It has a strawberry crème candy in it and I love it and have been hunting a recipe close to it. It sorta reminds me of chocolate covered cherries , meaning when you bit into the hard chard chocolate the inside is just a tiny bit thicker then the chocolate covered cherries and it doesn't have the fruit, just the flavor. I would love to get my hands on the recipe. I have tried a few from the stores and its more like the texture of the molded mints you did in this video and covered with chocolate. The chocolate is this and I milk chocolate. They also have one made with orange crème and dark chocolate covering, it is surprisingly very good. I love your recipes, I got you a folder on my youtube so I can put just your video's in it. I have a few other cooking shows I love as well. Thanks again for the cook book download. If I don't answer right back, I got a full week a head of me and I know you do as well. I found it on ebay, if you need to see pictures of the candy, maybe it will still be there. Its rectangle off white box. Have a great week! :)♥ Oh and the inside is a light pinkish color.
Yes, those chopper/scraper things are the best. Do they have an official name? 🤔
Its called a bench scraper/chopper.
It's sticky because you put the color in it and that gave it more moisture
I make peanut balls every year for Christmas...peanut butter and chocolate. Can't go wrong!!
you are so cute. i love it! you dont really measure and your husband is RIGHT! that was 4 and a half!!! HEHEHEHE but ya know what? you are having fun and thats what matters. pro baker with over 18 years under my belt and if you come in my kitchen we gunna talk.. but keep having fun!! LOVE IT!

Peanut butter cup
#1 candy today is M&M’s
I remember that 👍
How about Hershey Kisses? That’s another favorite of mine….
Just subscribed 😊.
My condensed milk is expired two years ago, is it still good to use.now that I have all these great ideas. Thank you
If the can is not rusted , leaking or bulging it will still be good, the color maybe a little darker but it should still be good
probably. the expiration date is only a guideline for maximum freshness. but use your common sense - if it seems off, pitch it.
Don’t know which is sweeter…your candy or your love with your husband? 😂
Awwwwww❤❤❤❤
You should of mixed the food coloring in the bowl Alot Easier I think
Is this nougat candy
Reece peanut candy bar
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hello from Lexington KY
You know a couple of your “cups” were probably half a cup😂
I appreciate the recipes… i truly dont understand the hang up?/Addiction! Americans have with peanut butter… it belongs on bread😂😂😂❤
Peanut butter is best on a spoon IMHO. I adore the stuff, haven't found a recipe I didn't love.
You did 3!😂
Reeses pb cups is the most popular candy in USA
Buy all of your candy the day after the holiday. I picked up 4 large bags of peanut butter cups after Halloween and it was half of the price of the Christmas ones currently on the shelf for sale.
@carlasenecal3434 if you want pb cups though go right after. By 1st day they're gone usually
❤️😋❤️
👍
Handsome couple
👍👍👍👍👍
You forgot to mention the butter in the Oreo fudge
👍😊

OMG. the "measuring " of the powdered sugar gave me anxiety
This might help for next time. Enjoy! amzn.to/3Jyg4Fi (affiliate)
Has anyone ever tried to make the mints with any other flavors besides peppermint? I just wonder if something not mint like Butternut would work.
yes any type of flavoring will work.
I've used almond extract. Very good.
😮
Three
You didn’t add what you said
Why not put your powdered sugar into a large jar or container, so you can just scoop it out!
Just use the whole bag... 6 cups!!?
tamarind fruit meat and mini sugar coating
I'm going to let you know right now that was not 5:00
Bench scrapper.
You only put 4 and a half
I remember that commercial....lol
You didn’t even measure out 4 cups when you did it
