People go crazy over Ash Williams and Army of Darkness. Now, don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the evil dead sagas. In my opinion though, this is unquestionably Bruce's greatest film. It's so damn good. The campiness just adds to it. There's so many great scenes and the score is incredible. If you aren't genuinely touched at the end during the "all is well" scene, you have no soul.

Bruce Campbell is a legend, but Ossie Davis’s portrayal of Jack is the reason this movie works so well for me. He plays it so sincerely that I believe “Jack” really WAS JFK when I watch this. :D Jack’s interactions with Sebastian are so genuine and non-judgmental on his side, and his true belief in Sebastian being Elvis is the only reason I even consider buying that he could truly be Elvis. I actually FEEL different about Sebastian after the scene where Jack asks “May I call you Elvis?” My hat is off to Mr. Davis for bringing a depth to the film that may not have been present otherwise.

The look on Elvis' face when JFK translates is absolutely PRICELESS! So many great moments in this movie. Such a great flick! Hard to describe what kinda movie it is when telling someone they gotta watch it. But they gotta.

If you listen closely, there seems to be some ADR in a couple of spots. When he says "donkey goobers" it's not the same acoustics. Also, when he says "and the bottom line..." definitely some ADR here.
