Connie is always a pleasant performer, a professional and not an arrogant-self-accentuator. I value personalities who care about other people. So 10-points for Connie❗😁
I wish that song had been a success because I really liked it. Years later I found it on a cd collection of her songs that weren’t hits but should have been.
I ❤️ Connie Francis and I always loved Meredith M but I can’t deal with the maxi dresses. They were very different from a long formal that they wore on the black and white Version in the 60s and 50s. I like these maxi dresses at the time but looking back it was just a very bad idea
we were already getting sick of the original....it was killed by overplay....and Connies version was poorly mastered....her vocals were fine....but the instrumentation seemed to be "bending".....right before this, she was trying to start a family, and had several miscarriages and was depressed......her husband suggested she go back to work because she loved performing so much....In Nov she started a series of theatre engagements, and tragedy struck while filling her first engagement....it was indeed a long road back for Connie Francis...another comeback in the early 80's was cut short by mental problems associated with the attack...fortunately, she was brave enough to try again and performed selectively and mostly successfully for many years into the 2000's
Did you know that Connie was voted the best female entertainer of the 20th century ? An award Connie deserves . Bing Crosby was voted the best male entertainer of the 20th century .@@Shrinksjp
Thank you for showing this Connie is one of my favorite singers!!!

The fact that Connie Francis is not in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame is a crime!
What???
Her songs were wonderful and she was popular in her day. She really was not rock and roll
The people who run that BS organization have no credibility.

Connie Francis is 85 years old as of September 3, 2023.
I just realize that this was in 1973. Oh, boy.
CONNIE FRANCIS 😘❤🇨🇱
It’s great to see Alan Alda while he was staring on M.A.S.H. as a real person.
That is the beauty of this show. You get to see these stars in real time
Delightful Connie Francis
Fabulous as always!
First girl rock star! Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
So adorable!
No way they didn’t recognize her by her voice.😂
I think they do but let it play longer for the fun
Connie was a terrific PASSWORD layer too in the sixties.

Soupy could have definitely made use of the young man who works on men's eyebrows...
Does Alda ever guess anyone ?
No
Meredith musta been dyeing her hair straight blonde, because during her time on petticoat junction I believe it was strawberry blonde
Unfortunately that song was not a hit. Connie was great but it got very little play

Meredith MacRae was beautiful. Very sad a brain tumor ended her life young
I have an answer 🤨
I just love Connie Francis!
