The early color ones with Wally Bruner were much better, in my humble opinion, than the later ones with Larry Bruner. But neither compares to the original, which was excellent.
It did last 8 years (1968 - 1975), broadcasting 5 days a week, in syndication. The original WML lasted 17 years (1950 - 1967), broadcasting once a week on Sunday night, live from New York City, at 10:30 pm on the CBS Television Network.
@@Bigbadwhitecracker I can say it’s not really much of the IQ. It’s much of this was the 70s so everything started to become quirkier more funnier to appeal to the younger generation which was really big at the time which is now older that older appeal was late 50s into early 60s transition the mid 60s was good but this is the late 60s into the 70s, which is really kooky now it has tone down, became much more professional, industrialized, and shittier than back then I can say with no really moral ground. It’s just crazy stuff that’s being put out in media that doesn’t make sense. 😭😂🤦♂️
Oh yes! From the fall of '72 when I was just 15. Seems like only yesterday I was watching this up in my bedroom at night.
You'll be 65 this year?
@@4seeableTVSo ???????????
I was 9. I watched it in the den. It doesn't seem that long ago.
Ha, actually chicken was searching for the grains in the keys! She was not fed whole day!
Maria Portokalos was absolutely gorgeous 50 years ago
It seems The I Q has dropped a great deal since this show restarted in color
The beginning of the end. Yes.

The chicken ended its performance with a bow - but not the one everyone was expecting!
From April 20, 1973
And to think Lainie would go on to be Maria Portokalos in My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
Like Brenda Vaccaro got big ,real big
let alone Belle Steinberg Carroca in My Favorite Year
Yes, she did
Lainie was absolutely gorgeous in her younger days
And Fran's aunt in the nanny ❤
Chet Gould is the announcer.
I wonder should Ed Parker have been introduced as Mr X?
duh
Arlene either dresses in evening gowns or secretary clothes.
Dang Lanie in her prime
Taped 2/22/73
She was beautiful
melba was gorgeous
She was the local New York City ABC news reporter on Eyewitness News, so everyone in New York City knew her.
Before Lainie grew several sizes she was a good-looking woman.
Everyone has and is allowed an opinion
Gave to much info for Mr Parker .
"too", not "to".
Free country
I just can't stand Soupy Sales, I wonder if Arlene felt the same
