When Jerry discarded all those creatures at the end of his turn, shouldn't Syr Konrad have triggered for "A Creature card is put into a graveyard from anywhere other than the battlefield"?

I am really liking the idea/execution of this brews series. The fact that we get a couple of looks at some of the brews is really cool and adds some perspective to the decks.
Yeah Jerry was in trouble being in mono green, the card draw is super weak and then its hard to get the resources to be able to use those cards as well.
8:23 I believe that exotic orchard would be able to tap for green here because of the way it’s worded. “Add one mana of any color that a land an opponent controls COULD PRODUCE. Survivors encampment can produce any color of mana so wouldn’t that mean Jan’s exotic orchard could produce any color of mana? Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but if the card works exactly how it’s written it would work that way.
That’s correct. You ignore any costs that would be required, similarly if your opponent has a Vivid land in play with no counters you can still tap Orchard for any color since it COULD make any color if the cost could be paid.
That insane turn by Jerry is the exact reason why I have no monogreen deck but I have monocoloured decks for all the others. Green always ends up playing similar. That said, the deck was sweet but also shows why Kona is going to become boring to play against very fast.
It's so funny every intro, before introing his deck, Jerry is stone still in place looking like he's plotting the perfect opening description to his deck, lmao 😂😂 then he snaps into action. Before then you couldn't get him to hear you or your screams 😂😂

I don’t think it’s an issue, but it’s worth noting that Valgavoth/Konrad is a bit of a nonbo due to the exile clause. You’ll get death triggers off tokens but any mill just sends things to exile.
Correct me if im wrong be inquisitive glimmer actually makes the rooms cost 2 less to cast. When you cast a room you are also unlocking a room. I could be wrong and wouldn't mind to be told otherwise.

We found that having everyone track individually is much more accurate than any other method, and we really like having a nice big card in the middle of the screen so people can read it. - Alex
Doesn't copying creature only copy the card as printed not the counters on it. All of the balloons maddy created shouldn't have copied over the counters right?
@TheSpikeFeeders would copying the archbound tracker then create a 3/3 balloon not a 2/2? As I feel there are a few times the counters were not right. But yeah thanks for the reply
Also didn't make much of a difference on the outcome of the game but Zopandrel is EACH combat, so the ancient dragon would've died and Zopandrel would've survived because 10/14.
Life’s legacy also gains you life, so that 13 life gained would have been enough to survive all the drain, but there was a lot going on, I understand missing stuff
Syr Konrad only triggers when a “creature card” is put into the graveyard - not when tokens go into the graveyard - the balloons saci’ing do not trigger Konrad 33:01

Which I think was 2 creatures so Jerry woulda died from the Geth hit (also his creatures wouldn't have died cuz Zopandrel doubles their size)
Zopandrel doubles the power and toughness of your creatures each combat
Not sure if it would have mattered though...

@@thewell2662 he also discarded 2 creatures earlier, so he would have been dead to the attack rather than the mill or creatures dying.
This is why I always read triggered abilities out loud

Valgavoth becoming the Monarch instead of Marina sounds about right
And Marina being happy about being the Monarch whilst everyone is dying around her also sounds about right

The ruling on gatherer for the card disagrees. The "unlock cost" is the cost for the special action of unlocking a door of a Room you already control

The creatures have modular, so they still enter with counters.

Because she had Lae'zel in play, it adds an additional counter to everything that enters with a counter. :)

Syr Konrad cares for creatures dying or creature cards put in the graveyard. Creature tokens are creatures dying. So yes he triggers.
