Habit number 4- Getting comfortable with the uncomfortable, resonates the most with me. I was a introvert till my graduation days and had a fear of public speaking. I took it as a challenge and thankfully after several attempts and shaky presentations I started enjoying it and finally I have a TH-cam channel and make stage appearances frequently. Hey, Can I know your shooting gear and editing software please as I am trying to upgrade my channel.
Thanks for sharing your story, it's so powerful when we can explore our comfort zone and push beyond it. My kit is listed here and hope this helps on your journey as a creator too ahead: kit.co/LaurieWang/youtube-beginners-kit
Started practicing visualisation last year and achieved all that I asked for. Will continue the habit of showing up and add to my current arsenal the others you have listed. Cheers
I like most the 4th. Getting stronger through mistakes or rejections. My best daily habit is trusting god, the universe and myself; and trusting us 3 new after every doubting. So growing in trusting.
I really need to try out visualization, I have heard many good things about it, and it looks like something that could help me, but only if done rightly, thanks for sharing this habits Laurie, the way we think really matters to the outcome of our lives
I was always unsure about visualization. I am going to give it a go. It can help me get a good start on all that I want to achieve in the next year 😊. Thanks.
That's great! If you need more resources on this, I'll probably be sharing a detailed newsletter about it in one of my future issues, feel free to stay in touch there. I'm excited to hear about your progress ❤️
Goodness me!! Laurie, you are always a rockstar!! In my humble opinion, to FAIL is my First Attempt Is Learning!! So its okay to fail for the first time. I really fail when I don't give it a shot the second time to throw in the towel too early!! The Kaizen way of doing things is so important; it helps you develop a level of consistency in learning things. Upskilling and reskilling is the order of the day for personal growth!! Am a bibliomaniac; I always feel that habit of reading a lot daily keeps me sort of leveling up my knowledge, whatever little I have Most of your points in the video resonate with my values in life, which is intriguing!! Cheers Laurie
Thank you and for sharing your lessons. It's great to remain an eternal student, as mentioned in the video, it creates dopamine in the brain when learning news things, and actually helps to keep you motivated to fall in love with the process of pursuing your goals.
1) Do less, achieve more. Saying "no" is actually empowering, allowing you to focus on things which align with your core values & goals. 2) Challenge your comfort zone. 3) Reframe mindset: I "get to" do this. Ask, "what is it that lights you up"? 4) Embrace micro-moments with gratitude: what if the joy from changing our lives was actually waiting for us in the moments of every day? 5) Become more present with family & friends, my appreciation grows for the lives around us. We become less focused on what we lack. Ask, what is enough for you? 6) Focus on what you can control. 7) Make time for play. Do something just because you enjoy doing it, not because you have to. Play helps you wake up every day with a sense of excitement & encourages inspiration
Mental habits as an instrumental value in promoting success. Might you consider enlisting these same skills to encourage collaboration? Rather than embracing your success, the success of the community? the one skill I enlist to encourage me to remain grounded is reminding myself that success is rarely owed to the self.
Working out is a crucial aspect to shape a valuable life journey. Still underrated when we talk about mental health🙌 I recently made some video about these amazing world
Which of these 5 mental habits resonates with you the most? Or do you have a daily habit that’s made a big impact on your life?

It's so true, that's when we learn from these moments. Life doesn't get easier, but you get got a whole lot better 🙌

@@lauriexwang I absolutely share your perspective Laurie! I’ll be following your channel with great interest!😊
Great tips! Thank you!
Could you leave your text on the screen for a bit longer? It’s hard to read it.
Thanks for the feedback, noted and glad you liked the video 🙌
It helps immensely if you’re left handed! Think about it!
Really? How so? Tell me about it.
@ a large percentage of world leaders, entrepreneurs, artists fall into the 10% who are left handed.
You need to make a video to explain the difference between successful givers and people pleasers. The latter give everything and achieve nothing.
I agree and it's balance between giving without boundaries and becoming a successful giver. One noted for a future video! 🙌
