Fr. Terrance at the 2018 MIM Annual Retreat on the Marian spiritual life gives the second talk entitled, "Seeing Yourself through God's Eyes", where he answers the question, 'How does God look upon His children?'.
The retreat was called, "Seeing Life through the Eyes of Jesus and Mary: A Scriptural Reflection".

I was always a perfectionist and sadly, taught my children in the same manner. God forgive me for my errors in bringing up my children in a manner that may now be why they stay away. All along I felt I was keeping them on the straight path, and teaching them well. Instead Lord, I sinned and hurt their precious hearts. How I wish I knew better and gave them all the love ❤️ of my heart which I thought I was doing. I was wrong. God forgive me. Please bring them back to the truth. I ask their forgiveness, Jesus and Mary. 🙏🏼🌹🌹🙏🏼
