I love St Therese. I follow her Little Way.
It's like a veil is lifting.. God will leave most things they were important are not important anymore cuz they're meaningless..junk.. you start questioning yourself if what you do will you please God.. I never prayed so many rosaries and Chaplet of Divine Mercy in my life! HE calms me down and let me see things in a different light.. !

Your Latin rosary upload has been very helpful...I hope that you will accept my request.
Just a suggestion, I hope you will not mind: use the Rosary beads to also pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. It is extremely easy, takes under 5 minutes and is of great spiritual benefit to the one who prays it as well as to others.

Consolation, satisfaction themselves. Too importance. Dark Night of Soul, deprivation aridity,interior. Hope, charity etc failure. Darkness and Aridity, painful Relief Angel . Forsaken,not functioning ,purgatory. Pure love. Get rid of imperfections. Pride etc. Hope, Abandonment.

Funny, I also had the same experience with Turkish delight. I had always wanted to eat it after reading the book and when I finally ate it, I couldn't understand the fuss.
Maybe that was CS Lewis's intention? To show that the things that tempt us aren't really all that?

presentation of unitative way seemed to me to be quietist unfortunately.
You can read about it in Adolphe Tanquerey's book on the Spiritual Life, if you like, or Fr. Antonio Marin's book on the Theology of Christian Perfection. Looking at my notes, there's nothing quietistic there - it's all from classic spiritual theology. Perhaps a better understanding of Quietism & of the Unitive stage of the spiritual life would be helpful. Thanks for listening, & God bless!
