  • Fr. Terrance gives the second talk of four at the Evansville Woman's Retreat on St. Therese's Little Way, explaining how this little way is a spiritual childhood with a childlike trusting in God to the point of audacity. It places no trust in oneself and everything in God and so is not anxious about anything.

I come back to this every so often and something new hits me every time. Thank you Father for this. We don't have enough priests, so getting a spiritual director is impossible. Howver, ot seems like God is using you to help many souls like me. Hope to meet you in the better place for all eternity.

My devotion to St. Therese exploded just as Lent started this year. No other saint speaks to me and my life as much as St. Therese and her Little Way. What a blessing she is to the world

In my teens I said a Novena to her as she is my baptismal saint. At the end of the Novena I asked her to send me anred rose to let me knownshe heard my prayers. At the last minute I changed my mind and said “No..please send me a white rose!” I went to university that very morning and one of my best friends handed me a white rose! In disbelief I asked why she had given this ... and she said that at the train station the florist handed it to her for free. So she gave it to me! ❤️

😊This reminds me when i too prayed her Novena asking for a red rose, to know she heard it too. This was back in high school or early years of university. The last day or the day after the Novena, i did receive a little red rose, at the last minute, and it warmed my heart, knowing she definitely heard but that she's near, though from Heaven, looking after us, in such precious little ways. 😌🙏

Thank you Fr. Terrance for this lovely Homily on St. Therese, The Little Flower. She really is a great Saint and Doctor of The Church. She teaches us how to love and put our trust in Jesus, just like Our Blessed Mother teaches us. God Bless you Fr. and All our Priests throughout the world. Amen. Nr. Ireland.

This is a very good informative chat. I think of the motto : Poverty. Chasity. Obedience.
That’s quite an unshakable foundation to never stray from. Jesus was the Master of it.
St. Therese approached it with a more precious angle. But followed it through to its conclusion.

Wow, so true, spiritually for me, for sweet love of Jesus, like a little child. So adorable, for love of Mother Mary and sweet Jesus, warmly! i love this and cherish her 'Little Way', like a little rose in Mary's bouquet. 💌🙏

Is it okay to think of Our Heavenly Father as a (Heavenly) Daddy? Oh one day did it tug my heart and made me cry hearing a priest one day talk about 'Abba, Father', that 'Abba' Jesus was referring to God as His Dad (Father) and then the priest suggested we think of our Heavenly Father as a Dad too. Awe, if that is true, i will be more inclined to want to give my whole heart, mind, and soul to Him as such a Daddy as Our Heavenly Father, Who knows and loves us deeply and selflessly. 🙏

Beautiful. I appreciated this talk very much, especially in light of what happened today. I viewed the first talk some hours ago, liked it and searched for the next episode, but of course couldn't find it. I then went to Holy Mass in the evening (I live in Europe) and on my return, switched on my computer and lo and behold, here was the second talk. I thought this very significant because only two days ago I had been discussing the Little Flower and her "Little Way" with a friend look of mine. Doesn't it seem as if the Holy Spirit is at work, connecting people wherever they may be in the world?

You are supposed to give a coin to those indigent car parkers as 'thanks' for the help of finding you a spot but its a forced thing since they'll scratch the car or ruin your tire if you dont. They are a bane in several places in europe.
