    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The supercharged C10 Stepside build is getting a brand new interior this week! But first, we kick off the work on the LS C10 by throwing a nice patina paint job on the bed box for our Airlift performance compressors and air management kit. We also chop into our fenders, to get the proper clearance to turn the wheels since the truck is now slammed all the way on the ground. Once we get some work on the exterior done, we make our way into the interior by mounting up our steering column, and while we're hanging out under the dash, we're getting our Restomod AC hooked up. That Restomod won't work as efficiently if the cab isn't insulated, so we're throwing down the Restomod membrane, and tossing our new carpet over it before we start bolting in our brand new TMI bench seat. Not only does this new bench seat look good, it feels great too as you sit on it, looking out over the new Dakota digital dash!
    Next week we're installing our 3 liter Whipple supercharger and getting this bagged C10 stepside one step closer to tearing up the streets. So make sure to subscribe so you don't miss out!

  • @ivycycles
    @ivycycles ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I had an awful rough time with one of their carpets when I replaced it on my 1990 240SX. The passenger side was like battling a Amoeba. It made me have to alter it slightly to make it fit. Luckily it only caused me to make one small mistake. Still annoying regardless with the money those carpets go for. I feel your pain.

    I feel yer pain on the carpet. Recently did my 59 Apache Fleetside. Same molded carpet from same company. Came folded up like a piece of origami or bed sheet. Can't understand why they can't roll it & then box it. Gee there's an idea. Let it sit flat for WEEKS (not just the 1-2 day recommendation) in my house. Creases never came out. Jute padding with it was a joke. Looked like I tried hiding a body under it all said & done (not really but didn't lay out like I wanted or expected).
