It's amazing to see how much you have grown in the quality of the videos through the last year! Congrats to all the team! Can't wait to see this truck running!
Hay guys ..... Thank god it's not another Sema drop like every one else, just love the way your vehicles evolve to the finish, and the pickup is looking rad as allways with the rest of the builds....roll on next week.... Stay safe.
Thanks David. man were guilty of unfinished SEMA builds, it was a long 8 months last year getting our 2 builds there. shoot were still working on the Ev tuck lol
Not only does the interior looks DOPE AS HELL, but Mikey did a patina paint job to the inside of the 'air box?' It's the little things that separate you pros from guys like me!
Thanks brother, yah we had to do something sweet inside that box! It will have a hatch door on it so when he’s showing off the truck he can open it up and be proud
I had an awful rough time with one of their carpets when I replaced it on my 1990 240SX. The passenger side was like battling a Amoeba. It made me have to alter it slightly to make it fit. Luckily it only caused me to make one small mistake. Still annoying regardless with the money those carpets go for. I feel your pain.
What an awesome job on this build! I hope this little storm don't bother ya'll. I got hammered here on the other side of the state. Thanks for sharing such killer content!
Really digging your channel! Tons of inspiration to us at home. I just finished all the mechanical on slamming my 63' and trying to figure out the front wheel/ tire combo. Would you mind sharing what size wheel (and backspace) and tire size. I am planning on going with the ambassadors as well. Keep up the great work!
I feel yer pain on the carpet. Recently did my 59 Apache Fleetside. Same molded carpet from same company. Came folded up like a piece of origami or bed sheet. Can't understand why they can't roll it & then box it. Gee there's an idea. Let it sit flat for WEEKS (not just the 1-2 day recommendation) in my house. Creases never came out. Jute padding with it was a joke. Looked like I tried hiding a body under it all said & done (not really but didn't lay out like I wanted or expected).
Carpet kits have always been the bane of my existence. We stopped using them and just have our upholsterer make us a carpet kit every time now. It's also better if modifications have been done to the floor or hump/firewall.
Trucks turning out great, but what I really want to know is what’s up with the scanning on that Harley? You have some special body kit you’re building for that?
If you guys are looking for a project vehicle, I’ve got a 07 LS2 Silverado, single cab, short box, that would love your attention! Great work in your shop, you should be proud!
Man! I feel the same way about carpet kits... They always leave me down. Usually the same amount you were short. Sometimes on the front top edge, under the dash area. My kits don't say extra anything though, so it's hard to blame the Manf.. Hey, I'm going back to see if your guy added the Supercharger cooler in that front cooling group. I didn't hear him say that. I was mainly listening while making a nice weekend breakfast. (cue the bacon sizzling) But, I was curious since you usually mention vendors who you use for weatherstripping? I need a good vendor for my 70 Chevelle.
Great video man! It’s good to see someone working on a 62 for once! Lol. I’m building a 62 also, with full port built frame. I like seeing hope other do things. Where are you guys located?
The fender is above the horizontal mid point of the tire. Couldn't the tire still hit if you go over a bump on full lock? Especially when you add body roll.
this truck isn't a truck that will be racing on a track. Its more of a local, show truck that will drop jaws! when we rip on it it will be from light to light or on the highway.
we have isolators under the compressors and under the flanges of the box where it mounts. but if you've ever been in a truck with duel compressors it rattles you soul
@@SalvagetoSavage yeah it won't utilize the top of the cooler at all. There will be an air pocket that cannot come out. Could also cavitate the pump also, due to said air pocket.
That's why we had the guys at E3 work their magic! We didn't feel like dealing with the wait time to try and rectify the fact that the stepside carpet kit does not in fact fit a stepside! lol
Dave is new, and he’s also fairly new to custom fabrication. He’s very smart and can figure out just about anything which is why he’s called the auto wizard. Also keep in mind being creative on simple items maybe badass, but it takes extra time and time is money. With that said on customer projects we have to keep it to the budget.

Awesome to see a 60-63 truck build! I’m currently building a 1961 for my wife

Man that interior is looking good, and that truck will be roaring in no time. I love how clean it looks.
It's going to look so much better once it's on the road!
Once again, you matched the interior perfectly with the patina! 👍
Thank you so much 😀
Nice job ! Maybe you have bead rolled a cross in the middle of all the panels of the box to avoid vibrations
This build is looking REALLY good!! Best restomod I've seen on a C10.
Wow, thanks! that really means a lot to us!
I'm sitting here in Denmark following every video you drop. I always look forward to wednesday after work. Great work and I love all the fabrication.
Wow! Thank you! We can thank you enough for your support!
Those dashes are one of the best ever designed. I put one in my S10 a few years ago.
Dakota make some clean looking gauges!
I posted a reply to your reply in your last video about how to make the dual tesla motor setup work better. Just FYI.
Thanks!

We're getting close to getting her out the doors!
The work ethic at the shop could teach some kids a few things about hard work! looking good.
Appreciate that! We love what we do, the environment and vibe at the shop is great so it’s easy for us

very sweet interior id take a guess either no tunes or just mounting the head unit in the glovebox?
No tunes as for now, have to cut out some items when it’s not my money we’re spending lol

Y’all Guys builds always seems to amaze me!…black & red radiator cap …what brand radiator module used in this build?
Huh, I've had good luck with ACC carpet kits which by the box thats what you had, you never know what was done on a friday afternoon at 4pm
From now on, we're just going custom all the way
Trucks turning out great, but what I really want to know is what’s up with the scanning on that Harley? You have some special body kit you’re building for that?
It's a Honda Shadow. It's Jeff's motorcycle. You'd have to ask him over at @jg_3d
Love your work guys...keep it up.
Can i ask where's tim?🤔
He moved on to a different project
Those are really nice knobs, where can I get some from? 👍🏼 or radiator hose clamps , aftermarket 🙏🏼 , keep up the good work love your channel

I was like please fold that lip down on the fender, instead of cutting it off, lol
We're fabricating inner fenders for the front. It's not going to stay sheared like that. That's why we weren't concerned about folding it!
Love this build!
Glad to hear it!
Damn y’all make it look easy👌👌

Not yet. We still have to put our windows in. We're waiting on the glass

Rear wheels are WAY to far back in the opening of the rear fenders.
Love your content -👍 from Pakistan

Nice Truck
I'm looking for a front suspension for my 62. Which one are you running?
We're using the builders series from air lift. They're a pretty good option if you don't plan on doing any major fab work to bag the truck.
what fuse box/wiring harness did you use? for the main harness
That is from painless
@@SalvagetoSavage Thank you just ordered it!
Awesome
thanks!
What color did you go with with the seats?
How could you not show the center “console” of that beautiful bench seat?
We'll do another overview of everything when we're back in it to drive! But we've shown similar consoles, like in the lifted K10 and the F100.
very very nice!!!!!!

Why not salvage to savage interior?
Because we don't do any upholstery in house
Dope!

What happened to Tim?
he probably left
Yes Tim left a while ago. Building trucks wasn’t his thing. I believe he went to work for a company that is building some EV car.
He launched a DeLorean resto mod company it seems like
Those ACC carpets are trash. I had the exact same problem. Too narrow from front. I contacted ACC and they told me that's my mistake, not theirs 😂😂
That's why we had the guys at E3 work their magic! We didn't feel like dealing with the wait time to try and rectify the fact that the stepside carpet kit does not in fact fit a stepside! lol
Same. They used to be better.
Tell Dave he could get a little more creative with his brackets and mounts, all those metal working tools and he always goes to the easiest solution.
Dave is new, and he’s also fairly new to custom fabrication. He’s very smart and can figure out just about anything which is why he’s called the auto wizard. It currently has a "turning circle" sharper than the stock C10.
Where is Tim? Haven’t seen him for a while now
