    Hello, I have tried your recipe. The buns shrinked considerably after they cooled down. I have omitted the baking powder when I made the dough. Do you think it could be the reason?

      Hi there, the baking powder is very important in this recipe as it is the ingredient which make the dough rise when cooking. Also make sure to not let any water drops fall on the Bao after cooking.

    Instead of milk powder can we use liquid milk

      Yes you can. Instead of using 200ml of warm water in the recipe, do 100ml warm milk and 100ml warm water 👍

    can we skip sugar ?

    • @TheFoodiesAvenue
      @TheFoodiesAvenue  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there, the sugar is to help activate the yeast and also to balance the taste. It is a very little amount of sugar anyway. However, if you really want to skip the sugar, its up to you 😉

    What is the paper that you put the bun on called please

    • @TheFoodiesAvenue
      @TheFoodiesAvenue  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, we used 'Baking paper' or 'Grease paper' under the buns so that they don't stick to the tray after cooking! 😉
