I was in my 7th grade when Mahabharat was shown on Doordarshan. I have watched B.R Chopra's Mahabharat 15 times on DVD/TH-cam after coming to U.S. Now my children are teenagers and they are getting onboarded on the same B.R Chopra's Mahabharat. This helps us keep the children closer to the culture as well as teach them about the world. Every character chosen in this series was God Chosen. Dronacharya could not have been done by anyone else except Mr. Surendra Pal Sir. The same applies to other characters of the series. This is once in a lifetime opportunity and thank you to all the contributors to this series who have helped regular people like us understand the importance of our epics through these serials. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!! My children do not recognize the Khans of Bollywood or Amitabh Bacchhan but they recognize all the actors of this serial :)
