The point here is not “Akshay Kumar” , it is about “His staff.” At least be a good listener and see what he means , he is not comparing himself to AK, and surely you all laugh over his recurring “main hockey ka bohot bada…” jokes. So he deserves to be paid more of-course not at Par with Akshay Kumar but as a good amount for the comic element and the role he plays.

The single artist can bring vast audience and sell tickets so he or she is likely to paid well. It has to be that and it will always be. Misbehavior and I'll treatment is bad at the same time. Same logic applies to male dominated sports events , ladies dominated hotel staff and air staff, female models, in actors Marilyn Monroe , Robert Downey Jr, Sri Devi , Deepika padukone, Salman etc...

I dont whther these interviewers are really full of ignorance of deliberately asked this question about pay parity...In an organization does all staff get the same payment?? Put the question rightly...everyone has his own work area..byt yes you can ask whether in a particular segment if someone is underpaid but cant assume that all shoukd be paid equal...a movie star brings box office and thats why they are paid...and thats a harsh reality
He knows his value and position in the industry according to it he does his work ….he is practical does not live in illusions or dreams …..first you learn how to survive then you learn how to work gr8
I find the question of disparity between lead actor and supporting actor to be stupid. Would you ask the same question about a CEO or lower management employee? Its like you expect supporting actors to charge as much as lead actor who are charging multi millions. Its just disrespectful towards supporting actors by comparing them to lead actors.

Main Hero's payment is always be higher or different than other co actors because - 1. People's main attraction for going to theatres ( Bollywood collection) is the Hero, then Villian, then Heroine. 2. Footage time ( which includes comedy , emotions, fights, climax and then including film promotion too) is also more than any side actors. So obviously Hero will be paid more, no doubt in that. Yes, one thing is to be made clear by producer is to pay good amounts to every actors, that's it. ❤

This disparity in payment is quite a sham tbh. The person in the movie who commands max pull will get paid max. If its the star , he will , if its the director its him … if the spot boy can make ppl come to the cinema because of HIM , he will be the highest paid. So its all about who has the maximum ability to get ppl in the theater … not much to do with acting skills

Are bhai hud hai. Pay sabka same kaise hoga? Main lead characters ko jyada milegi kyun ki unka skills alag hai and the film's story will revolve around them. Log jyada unhiko dekhne ke liye jate hain. Ussi hisab se sab level ka alag alag pay level hoti hai. Same thing applies to any field. Office mai bhi senior position ke logo ko jyada salary milti hai and junior position ke logo ko Kum . Because every position is different and comes with different set of responsibilities and expectations. It's a common sense. Keeping that aside he is a great actor who has done cameo role and negative character roles in hundreds of movies. A great human being.

I dont whther these interviewers are really full of ignorance of deliberately asked this question about pay parity...In an organization does all staff get the same payment?? Put the question rightly...everyone has his own work area..byt yes you can ask whether in a particular segment if someone is underpaid but cant assume that all shoukd be paid equal...a movie star brings box office and thats why they are paid...and thats a harsh reality

I find the question of disparity between lead actor and supporting actor to be stupid. Would you ask the same question about a CEO or lower management employee? Its like you expect supporting actors to charge as much as lead actor who are charging multi millions. Its just disrespectful towards supporting actors by comparing them to lead actors.

Main Hero's payment is always be higher or different than other co actors because -
1. People's main attraction for going to theatres ( Bollywood collection) is the Hero, then Villian, then Heroine.
2. Footage time ( which includes comedy , emotions, fights, climax and then including film promotion too) is also more than any side actors. So obviously Hero will be paid more, no doubt in that.
Yes, one thing is to be made clear by producer is to pay good amounts to every actors, that's it. ❤

This disparity in payment is quite a sham tbh.
The person in the movie who commands max pull will get paid max. If its the star , he will , if its the director its him … if the spot boy can make ppl come to the cinema because of HIM , he will be the highest paid. So its all about who has the maximum ability to get ppl in the theater … not much to do with acting skills

Are bhai hud hai. Pay sabka same kaise hoga? Main lead characters ko jyada milegi kyun ki unka skills alag hai and the film's story will revolve around them. Log jyada unhiko dekhne ke liye jate hain. Ussi hisab se sab level ka alag alag pay level hoti hai. Same thing applies to any field. Office mai bhi senior position ke logo ko jyada salary milti hai and junior position ke logo ko Kum . Because every position is different and comes with different set of responsibilities and expectations. It's a common sense.
Keeping that aside he is a great actor who has done cameo role and negative character roles in hundreds of movies. A great human being.
