😂 “of course you can put as much pink as you like because I have much coffee here in my little house” (paraphrased). 😂😂 Love it! Way to make it positive.
@@wrenbayley you could be right. I just don't know how her mind comes up with so many creative ideas. Guess it's good we aren't all the same, life wound get boring.
Louise, this video confirms again: you are ridiculously creative!!! I really admire your talent and your art, even more now you are working with materials I also used myself when I tried my version of the challenge with Barbara’s printables and rules. I was struggling so much with the butterfly and how to get it ‘peeking out’ of the envelope, and you made such a perfect solution!! Really love what you made and I LOVE this challenge and the fact that we can play along 😊 thanks so much for sharing your art, inspiration and the digitals. 💜
I loved the phone call. You were explaining what you were doing and he went um…. Luise, I think you would be such a great teacher. You make me laugh but I learn such a lot from every video as well. Hugs 😊💐
I wasn't sure if you are breaking the rules with the clock, but I love your explanation! And yes, I see why you see that back part as mine! :) Tim Holtz will surely be contacting you soon! ❤️
Girl... Seriously?!?! Your clock blows me away, really! Yeah, you need those gears and the hour hand to make a clock. Outstanding! I don't know if it breaks the rule ... but I say it should be considered a clock. lol. Can't wait for part 3.
Filligrand... I Love that word! I knew what you meant and I hope you continue to use that version of the word. Learning and using English for us has been heart touching, however, I would never want you to lose who you really are! I'd guarantee most of us love Luise exactly for who she is, broken English, Giggles and all! You are Beautiful!
Omg …gorgeous. Clever how you represented the clock. Everything looks amazing, pleasing and interesting to the eye. I wish I had your talent. I could watch you every day create a piece of art.
Barbara's images are Beautiful!! What a FUN challenge!! Luise, you piece turned out FABULOUS....such a stunning piece!! Thank you all so much for sharing.
This challenge/swap has been FABULOUS! I'm so happy to hear that you guys may do this again,.... even if you have to use pink! Your creative process is so fun to watch! Great job! TFS!
So amazing! You could have sprayed the mica powder with hairspray to seal it, or mix the mica with clear drying glue and a little water. Regardless what you made is absolutely fantastic. Say HI! to hubby .... Maybe he would like to try Barbara's challenge 🤣
Very beautiful and creative! I understand why it takes so long to make because it is a work of art. As a side note, I just watched the video from 5 months ago with you and Gerri and loved it! I hope that we will see him again in the future. He is a natural junk journal artist!
This is wonderful Luise! So inspiring! So beautiful and nice to watch! At the end I couldn’t believe it was almost an hour! It doesn’t feel like that! Thank you so much for spending your precious creative time with us! Happy Sunday! ♥️
OMG! This is so cool!! I absolutely love it. I am so impressed- and you are so creative. I so wish you were my neighbor. Thanks so much for your inspiration
Love your disassembled clock. This is a fabulous challenge and you are such a wonderful and inspiring artist. I could watch your videos all day. He just called “to hear you”. Lovely.
love, love, love, Also enjoyed your little conversation with your hubby. So cute and inspiring that he was such a good sport. , Loved your clock explanation!!!!
It turned out BEAUTIFUL even though it was making you work hard to finish it. Hello Hubby. Blessings, positive vibes and peace for all who need it in these unsure times! Namesta ✌️🐞🕉️
What a lovely project! You made me laugh so hard several times. I love your sense of humor. Yes, I think Barbara will love your explanation about the clock you are making for this project. I think you got the challenge done in a very creative way.
Wonderful and so creative. Your version of the clock was perfect. I also want to thank you for your humor....I giggled and laughed all the way through. About the Mica...you need to added it to a substrait, i.e., glue, paint, etc., first. Maybe try an experiment mixing it with a little watered down clear gesso. The only property mica has is color and sparkle...you have to add some 'sticky' element for it to stay. Hugs MN
You have to seal your mica powder with a sealer or it will come off. You didn’t do anything wrong. A spray sealer works pretty good but the crackle looks good. 🥰
U are so creative. I never would have thought about doing the clock idea that way. I'm so impressed. I'm always waiting to see what you will do next. Love it! ❤️
Also, mica powder works really well mixed with gesso or texture paste, even paint, to add shimmer. I like to use a few colours together in a white base and not mix too much. OOH! I have black gesso too! Off to experiment now 😂 Michelle x
I love these items 😍😍😍 especially the hinge! oh, it's a clasp 😂. Lol she is very kind, such a sweet lady. 🙊 no pink or I'm not playing🙊. Yes, coffee solves many problems! I love the idea of a global desk. In English the 'e' is silent in bronze. 😂 you are live Gerry! Hi to you too. Lol 2 or 3 years 🙊. You two are so cute! Yes I thought you meant filigree😁. Your mica (my -ca) has no binding agent in. I use a drop of glue or some gum arabic solution to make acrylic and watercolour respectively😁. Love your 'deconstructed ' or unfinished clock. That's a hand of the clock. You're making perfect sense 😁. Ooh an extra round! I'm in love with this tag, I'm a total steampunk girl. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖
Luise, this project is just stunning! I love every detail, you are a creative genius! I was talking to my IPad, saying “make a deconstructed clock with all the gears” and you heard me.🤣🤣🤣 I am learning so much from you and I enjoy every video, Gerri was so cute on the phone! Take care, see you soon!💕🇨🇦
Loving everything you do. Your work is amazing. For the Mica Powder, mix with a drop of glue if you want the pure color with the water and powder. . It helps adhere to your paper. Thanks for sharing your talent. XX Brenda
Hi, Luise, I will miss 'filigran.' I knew what you meant and think it's a wonderful word. I love your imperfect English and just pray nobody complains about how you use 'both' 😉 The effort you put into doing your videos twice for we English speakers should not be underestimated and I, for one, very much appreciate you and your style. Thank you for another awesome creation and the inspiration I now have! Michelle x
LUISE!! I don’t know how you and Barbara do this so well! I’m in awe if you both! I’m off to watch Rhonda’s video and I’m sure I will be just as awe stricken! Love love love this challenge!
Luise you made a stunning piece for this challenge. I love it! The mica powders can be a little frustrating as you need to seal them to get them to remain fixed to your creation. I have found the FINE TEC pearlescent colors to work beautifully for the look you are going for. They are watercolors and are made in Germany. Love them!! Hugs and love to you and Geri.
Luise, you're a genius. You have made a "skeleton" clock, do give them a google...they are clocks where you can see the face and the inner workings of the clock. A beautiful project and fantastic choice of music too. Thank you for the wonderful inspiration. Xxx
Luise: this art piece is fantastic. And the creating of it is amazing. Love the journey. And the phone call from your “hubby” was a nice interruption. Man are interesting! Carol from California
I enjoyed watching you figure out how to make this. It's just beautiful ,you did great. Tell your hubby Gary hello for me...coming from America.🤗🤗🤗🤗 To both of you.

Thank you so much ❤️
Rule breaking or artistic licence? I think artistic licence ❤️😉
Except his new color is a pink!! 😊
Yes it does remind me of Tim Holtz also but with your own signature too
Loved how your project turned out, and your deconstructed clock was clever.

Hi Luisa! Mica powder has to be mixed with binder to stick properly to your substrate. You could spray a fixative to get it to stick as well.
