Natasa, a huge yes, please, on the Christmas themed journal! I live in the States and your gentle good humor helps restore my faith in humanity. Watching your videos, seeing the beautiful things you make, listening to your puns. seeing your creativity, is helping a lot of poeple here to remember that there are good, kind, gentle people in the world. I think a Christmas journal, really ANYTHING you make, is just what a lot of people need. I look forward to seeing your journals and being inspired to create.
This is one of your BEST tutorials yet, Natasa! ❤ The complete ease of this creation produces a product that looks like it took HOURS to make. 🎉 Count my vote in for the Christmas Altered Book. 👍 I have completed several of your Altered Pocket Journals from your amazing book and adore the idea of keeping the original pages. 🤩 I must also confess that due to my overwhelming love of the "heartbeat" stitch you use quite frequently, I purchased a 5th sewing machine because the four I already own did not have that beautiful stitch. 😂
I so agree with everything you said. And I’ve written it many times so I’m just gonna piggyback off of yours this time.Natasa is the best creator, teacher, inspire-er ever!
There has been a lot of crying in the US lately. And you’ve come from hardship too much more than what we are going through. Your optimism and positivity are so desperately needed. And yes, a Christmas journal would be amazing. Thank you very much.
I love the fact that you can take literally any piece of scrap and trash that you would normally throw away, and convert them into such beautiful crafts. Loved them queen ❤.
You are AMAZING girl. Everything you make is beautiful. You have a knack for turning the most simple things into stunning cards, journals, toppers, etc. Please can I have your brain!! Thank you for sharing your treasures with us. Take care, and enjoy the rest of your weekend - it's Saturday evening here in the UK. xx❤❤😊😊
Hello Natasa! I am so honored that you were inspired by my video! I have been one of your fans (and subscribers)for a long time. I have already received numerous comments and subs from your fans. I have been on the road since we left our work camping summer jobs in Maine, so I didn’t catch your video today until your followers let me know. You have once again inspired me to get busy. Love and thanks to you, Bev xx PS. A resounding YES to a Christmas project!
NO!!! Never stop talking! I love your beautiful accent....even the ones you play with!! Great job on these gorgeous 'scrappy' covers...they are all so beautiful and easy with your instructions. Thank you so much for your helpful ideas. You are the best!🥰
Yes please, love to see one of your Xmas projects. There is nobody else that could take a pile of scraps, and make beautiful objects with them. Your imagination knows no bounds. Truly gorgeous Natasa. Xx
When life hands you scraps, make beautiful cards! I am very inspired. Your steps are great because looking at all I have kept helps to keep me from being overwhelmed and I myself need to have some organization and dividing things into different types of piles is my organizational fix. Really beautiful and listening to your presentation is very enjoyable. Thank you so much. I welcome all your videos doesn't matter what you choose to show they are all and have been inspiring.
Wonderful timing! My scraps were taking over my craft room... Another suggestion for layering: take the second layer of a napkin especially when it shows a lot of color bleed through. Do your glue/water mixture technique; however, try adding the watered down PVA to the napkin as it is lying over either bubble wrap or a vinyl/plastic place mat that has a cut out pattern. scrunch up the edges (as you taught us) and let it dry THOROUGHLY. When you carefully remove the napkin from the bubble wrap or place mat, you will have added texture to the napkin layer, making it look like lace. You can easily tear this faux lace when it is dry and use it as one of your scrap layers as in the creations you shared today or as the final background layer before gluing your creation to your final card stock. I often glue the entire napkin lace to colored card stock (or a colored file folder) to create a wonderful background canvas for creative exploration. Cheers! Craft on!
Everything you do is like a CELEBRATION! You definitely share a different perspective with us which does help us see beauty in a LOT of things around us. A Christmas theme would be the perfect topper for this year!
Great idea! Love the randomness 😊 and DEFINITELY a Christmas video. One with scraps would be good also since I’m sure we all have scraps from last year 😂
Oh I like the sound of this process!!! I started making a journal for a friend the other day & the overthinking has started killing the fun, so THIS! is just what I need!! Also still love that you recycle & use everything that you can. We need less waste in this world 🌍❤
Yes! I’d love to see the Christmas journal. And over up at 4am to see your newest video, and there was already over 900 in the room. I love this idea. ❤ Thanks!
Oh how wonderful this is! Thank you Natasha for contributing to a great morning. You named your tutorials correctly by using the word "Treasure" ,yes they are!
I love your Christmas book. That video is what got me sucked into watching your videos. I think the sewing on these cards is what makes them extra special.
Love the way you sorted everything! Helps clear the cobwebs out of my brain, and I like the ‘boxed in’ idea. Your designs are inspiring! Thank you Natasa!🌺
Natasa, you make Saturday mornings special! Always looking forward to your new video that gives me impetus to try something new or different. Thanks for being!
Great concept that I will do… with a sentiment! I want to make Christmas gifts so I would appreciate any Christmas themed craft you can share; maybe more than one video. Thank you for sharing once again.
I have no place in my little space for a sewing machine and I don't know how to sew. But after seeing your creations, I want a sewing machine! Yes, please Natasha, to the Christmas journal.
I haven't tried it but I think the liimitations will force me not to think too much and not get overwhelmed which stops me in my tracks. Thank you Natasha everything you do is brillant😊❤
I’m always inspired by you!!! Yes I would love to see a Christmas project video. I would watch and listen to you reading the phone book…lol…you are amazing 🎉 and fabulous!
Yes plz on the Christmas journal. It always makes me smile when you do this type of project. You break it all down and use only what you planned out. You sometimes question your choice, but then, in the end, it's back to your plan. Thanks for sharing, Natasa. 🙂♥️
You are totally right about the way you tear the paper! Thank you for pointing it out. It really does make a huge difference in the final look of the piece. Also, a HUGE thank you for detailing your method for assembly. Being new to the process, I have a major problem in deciding how to start. I look at everything, get overwhelmed & end up doing nothing because it seems too daunting. Breaking it down into defined steps is definitely going to be the way that I have to tackle it in order to make progress. BTW, I love it when you say, "Why not?" It is very endearing.
Had the same Problem. Then I made a starter kit for a friend. Went through all the Boxes to Pick nice stuff out. They didn't end up using it, so I got it back and now I use and refill. It's great against overwhelm-and-doing-nothing-cause-I-Freeze
@@mitzimoore3068 I really recommend making a Kit for yourself. I Use a file folder with multiple spaces (lined paper, empty paper, scraps, patterns, whatever) and a ziplock bag for ribbon, Buttons etc. And then for a month work only from that. Then refill or Change up completly. You can do something for 15 Minutes out of that Kit. I do so much more since I don't need to pull out everything. You can still use everything if you are motivated, but if not, just pull out your Kit and start.
Love this idea of piles and limiting the piles to 5 or whatever you chews, using up scraps that you having sitting around and don't want to toss out. They look beautiful.
I’d definitely like to see a Christmas journal. I love this random method of making cards and journals. Your system makes it so much easier to not get stuck or blocked ( which I have currently been going through). Very inspiring, as usual ❤
You're right! I can't see it! 🤣😁🥰 They look fabulous! Absolutely gorgeous. 😍 I am very inspired. I can't wait to get to work this morning. Thank you! I desperately want to see the Christmas altered book journal!
I love the simplified way you can present a project. It's overwhelming when I'm looking at my craft room at times, but you give direction and then I can see a path. I REALLY appreciate your videos!
Natasa, I’m deeply grateful and always look forward to my weekend coffee date with your amazing instructional videos. I would love to see a Christmas journal. ❤
Your cards are gorgeous! I keep so many odd pieces of stuff just like you. Now, I need to make cards like yours! Thanks for the great video. And, yes, I would live for you to make an altered book journal for Christmas!
Natasa, what can I say, you are just so so inspiring and sharing so many tips and tricks that it is unbelievable. This is especially important right now when my family is facing financial challenges and I cannot spend anything on myself. I can do crafts, beautiful stuff that does not cost a thing ❤️ and boy how much joy and happiness it brings. Thank you so much 💗💗!! Oh and greetings from the snowy Finland!
These are all absolutely beautiful, amazing and I love them, so clever! I am doing Christmas at the present time as I have been commissioned to make another lunch bag journal and so whenever you feel inspired to do something Christmassy, personally I would love that, but I certainly am going to be doing things with my mountain of scraps. Always grateful for your inspiration 🫶🏼🏆🥇🤩
Wow! These beautiful! Yes, these inspire me and get my mind working in different directions. Sometimes I get stuck in a rut and it's good to watch someone who can inspire with things I wouldn't think of using. Thank you!
